You can't tell me that Rin wasn't surprised after meeting Hiori for the first time in a long time.
After all, Hiori was a person who approached him with concern and, uncharacteristically, younger Itoshi accepted his help without any negative emotions.
And then Hiori surprises Rin with something like this:
Where is that nice Hiori that Itoshi had contact with earlier?
I can't help but feel that Rin would blame Isagi for this change. Because it's always Isagi's fault.
(Which gives me a similar vibe to that situation with Reo, Nagi and Isagi):
Isagi is a homewrecker. Although he doesn't understand it himself.

Look at these rebels
Underaged drinking smh
(Emmie is a hypocrite of the highest degree here)
Don’t drink underaged-
In all serious, I really loved this mini update, it made me smile so much
And the difference in their parents is interesting given their personalities really reflect it
Reo is a bit of a control freak, he has plans and he expects everyone to follow through with those
It’s not just because he was spoiled as all hell growing up, he was raised to be that way and no matter how hard he tries, he’s still becoming his parents
And Nagi is very much like a fly on the wall with most things
His parents raised him very casually, and he doesn’t put much effort into his relationships, letting others do the heavy lifting
It’s why he and Reo worked so well together before Nagi’s growth in bllk
They just gotta learn how to navigate this new dynamic now
THIS PART HERE
This made me like, screamin okay, SCREAMIN
Esztell can testify, I was bugging her like all afternoon about this update
He’s really saying “you’re stuck with me, I care too much about you to live without you”
And it’s such an impactful statement, he just wants Reo
EVERYONE LOOK AT THE TINY REO
Also, this chapter gave us a really good look at these two before bllk
I love that we can see their differences, similarities, and how they complement each other
Reo is outgoing as all hell and he’s pretty blunt and a bit rude, but Nagi just seems mildly annoyed if anything
And he’s not faultless either, he’s judging Reo’s home just as much
Final thought is Nagi’s reaction to champagne made me giggle
I wanna know what kind they’re drinking, I wanna give it a try
Well, that’s all for now, as I gotta go work
Might come ramble about them later but who knows if I’ll actually post it or not, I’m insecure about my ramblings because I don’t often try to make them make sense
They come right from my head

It's all about Nagi living alone in a tiny one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with zero personality and Reo having a whole floor for himself but still living surrounded by tacky-expensive home decor with no apparent traces of his actual personality, either. It's all about how Nagi's parents haven't visited him in 2 years nor taken an interest in his life since, while Reo's are content to live floors apart from their teenage son, only taking an interest in what value he can bring to Mikage Corp but being otherwise uninvolved in / dismissive of his actual life. It's all about them being surrounded by people and still not knowing how to form a meaningful connection with another person before meeting each other. It's all about them being so starved for genuine human warmth to combat their bone-deep loneliness that they both treasure memories of tiny, inconsequential moments where they were spending time with their parents. Something something it's this line,
and how it describes them both despite being said about Reo. It's them being awkward 17-year-olds who had never before had an equal who would just respect them as they are and unconditionally look their way. In this essay I will-
