With Robin and Steve being confirmed to be radio hosts next season, I think it'd be safe to assume they will be a big part of (if not the main focus of) s5ep5, Shock Jock. A theory I'd like to entertain tho would focus on stobin (+lucas please let it be lucas, esp bc of the name of that episode on my dub "Electroshock") once again working as foils for the antagonists in previous seasons, specifically Jason and the remaining jocks. We know Jason was able to rally up the town with his youth pastor swag in s4 by giving them something to feel angry and self-righteous about, and we know it is only getting bigger and worse (i.e more random hicks hunting the remaining hellfire members) next season. Call it fanservice-y, but wouldn't it be nice if stobin tried to manipulate their audience to their favor this time with the power of the waves? Not in a 'honey vs vinegar' thing, but in an "okay these people sheep let's get them riled up about something real this time". yep, robin "most likely to become the town's pariah" buckley. steve, "poster monkey-boy-man-boy-bullshit these losers let me live a priviledged life what for" harrington. but especially lucas "ostracized from birth due to the most stupid and widespread of prejudices + almost lost two of the most important people in his life (max and erica at the creel house) to ignorant rage" sinclair.

if this doesn't happen i'd still break my jaw if former 'King' steve loses it and curses everybody out for being selfish, mindless drones trying to go through life the same way they did before (or worse, really) in the face of so much pain and destruction. it's the former (sport) jock being a shock jock (also would apply to lucas ig) lol

after all, give the lowest man something to sneer at and he wont notice you picking his pockets. hell, he'll empty them for you. It's time that shit plays in their favor.

you know how platonic m¡leven is called elmike? idk i feel like we should have alternative platonic shipnames for other popular pairings that some folks might enjoy only as friends

some of these might already exist but i think they haven't caught on-

Lucas and Max could be madclair

Nancy and Jonathan could be jonance

Dustin and Suzie could be henderham??? know where besties?
