Why did it take approximately seventeen years to write about Jonathan going through security at Pennhurst (much of which I cut anyway) but two hours to write about [redacted exciting weird thing] happening?
#tonight tonight the highway's bright#I also had a crisis because most psychiatric hospitals don’t let under-18yo’s visit unaccompanied#but (a) it’s the eighties so everyone can do whatever I guess#and (b) Pennhurst is private presumably so I think they can do whatever#I’m not willing to rewrite a version where lonnie is just sulking in the background the whole time#mad because Jonathan wouldn’t agree to his shady scheme otherwise#(the scheme itself isn’t really shady)#(just the way lonnie chooses to involve himself in it)
