Scariest moment in the hotel: Third show, I went up to the fifth floor with a map and a wooden "key". Found X and after MUCH effort (and encouragement from a black mask who tapped me on my shoulder and pointed at the door like GET BACK ON IT when I decided to give up and walk away), I finally managed to get the key to work. I went through the narrow hallway, looked through the stuff on the shelves and then came to the tiny opening by the floor covered with the towels. I don't do tiny spaces, especially not ones I have to crawl through, so I looked at it, went, "Uh, no," and started to walk back towards the door. 

To my dismay (i.e., horror), the door was locked. I spent a couple of minutes being mentally mad at the makers of this show (HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO PEOPLE), but my fear was overwhelmed by my desire to get out, so I crawled through the towels, ended up in the igloo and spent the next few minutes there alone, listening to the recording while hugging myself. When Louis' Reverend came out, I was both relieved and terrified.

Biggest mishap you’ve seen: Was following Jeff’s Speaks back into the bar when a black mask whispered something to him and he started going down the stairs. We ended up in the dark ballroom and he disappeared behind the dais. When it didn’t seem like we were getting evacuated, I started running around to look for Macbeth, who turned out to still be Daniel, and then Macduff and tadaaaa found Jeffrey. What happened next:

Banquo was not present at Duncan’s funeral. Macduff did not rush up the stairs after the funeral (I know right, whoa whoa whoa who is this person). When we arrived at the bar, Fulton was pouring shots while Malcolm stood by the table, waiting for Macduff. Macduff saunters in, gets to the table, looked at Fulton, and gestured for him to join the card game. So the three of them played cards and, occasionally, they would look up at each other and laugh like “lawl this is happening”. I just stood there behind that night’s super close crowd like O.o

I started to prepare myself to run after Macduff to the interrogation scene, but Fulton ran away with Malcolm instead and Macduff stayed behind. Macbeth comes in all bloodied and out of breath. Macduff asked him to come sit, and poured shots for both of them. They sat like this for what truly felt like forever, staring at each other and drinking shots while seemingly preoccupied with their own individual nightmares.

If you had to pick one stand out moment that makes you come back: The door dance between Jeff’s Macduff and Marissa’s Danvers.

If you could make an immersive theater piece about any other play/source material, what would it be: Alice in Wonderland, 28 Days Later, Pride and Prejudice or Sense and Sensibility (maybe throw in zombies so we don’t just sit around having tea waiting to be married off?), Up.

it’s the malcolm anon from earlier - I’m a tall lanky ginger femme and my macduff is a short muscular blonde butch and it’s such a good concept, I’m so proud of our directors, malcolm and macduff are true lesbian warrior wife icons (and I hope your head feels better! migraines are the worst!)
