I'm the one who wrote that lengthy 'broad church' post about this exact thing years ago (which I did get criticism for from both trans people and somehow also mothers who had c-sections. wild) and I'm here to ruin your shitpost fun.

One. Shakespeare was likely using 'man' in the gender neutral sense. (Something I'm still side eyeing Tolkien for. Were the women siding with Sauron? You literally used the word in this exact same way yourself, John.) William was not shy about women committing murder. Just because the sentence has the words 'man' and 'woman' in it doesn't mean that they're being contrasted, especially since the gender neutrality of the word man is still in common use today and was even more so in Shakespeare's time. Would saying 'no human of woman born' imply that women aren't human? No it would not.

Two. Shakespeare was clearly using born in the sense of 'natural childbirth', where the woman birthed the child herself and not where someone had to cut her open and drag her out. (Her in this sense being auto-biographical.) It's literally in the text.

Three. Mother wouldn't have to deal with anything, she's dead. Caesarean births were exclusively used in cases of maternal mortality for most of human history. Hence why she couldn't have birthed the child herself. She's not a woman at that point, but the corpse of a woman.

Zombie MacBeth in a modern setting would be lulled into a false sense of security because he's met someone's mum only to get shanked and told of the marvels of modern medicine.

(Though, considering the tree thing, I don't think any of this is actually all that literal. The witches went out of their way to lull MaccyB into a false sense of security so he'd get killed.)

M.A.C. Cyber 💜 I love this lipstick! It's such a cool goth deep purple. It's a Satin Formula and I actually like that they didn't make it Matte. It doesn't cling to dry patches as badly as it would if it were Matte. It does need a lip liner. I wore it in the picture without one. I added one later and it cleaned up the edges a little bit. Luckily any black or deep brown eyeliner will work. I used a metallic brown one and it blended in just fine. I did notice that it doesn't layer nicely. When you need to reapply its better to take it off completely and reapply.
