When I was a kid, back in the 90s, I got the magazine “MacAddict”- most for the demo CD that came with it, but I’d read all of them cover to cover too. They had an issue full of April Fools day stuff I learned all sorts of annoying pranks from- but it also had a section on making your windows work computer at least FEEL like a Mac.

Point is, the original post made all that come rushing back. (Also the memory of getting the computer to say “You fool. What have you done.” in 90s text to speech when it read out an error and freaking my mother out at 5 am.)
