Aparentemente confuso, Ykvan ficou ali parado por alguns longos segundos antes de todos o olharem e ele analisar a situação. Que gente eram aquelas e por quê ele estava ali? Mil e uma pétalas caíam sobre si, os convidados se viravam nas cadeiras e o silêncio então pairou. Ele estava mais perdido que nunca.

"That was an accident, you know it, just shut up-" A loud laugh from you interrupted his words, "I can’t believe you just said that, on stream nonetheless." You wiped tears of mirth, a shit-eating grin on your face, "when in doubt, eat it out," you said mimicking his voice – laughing – not noticing Chris’ expression changing.

The sudden movement from Chris startled you, causing your laughter to die in your throat. He had climbed on the bed, straddling your hips. His expression was nothing short of desire, his pupils dilating as he leaned closer to your face. "Yeah? Y’wanna see how ”in doubt” I am? Spread those fuckin’ thighs ma." Your eyes widened at the sudden change in his mood, jaw going ajar, a flustered what? Is all you could mumble out.

"I said, spread those fuckin’ thighs," he repeated, "m’gonna eat you out until there's not a single doubt— thought in that pretty little head of yours." You found yourself complying, your breathing growing shallower as you spread your legs for him. now she hopes too, but for a better future for brooke. she needs it to happen, to brooke get out of it so they can get back at fighting. don't die just to win the argument! she'd yell and they would forget all the chaos, soon to end up making out on the floor. or they'd make up and go out to eat somewhere nice, all forgotten as it should be. the overdose would be something brooke would ramble about to the crowd while the band tunes their instruments or gets ready for a new arrangement, a speech she'd make with a mysterious drink in her hand and a smirk on her face. oh, how cocky she'd be talking about it! barbara is almost already tired of the whole thing.

she still holds brooke close to her chest, observant of every little sigh, every breath, every whisper. she almost wants it to be one of brooke's performances, waiting for her to open her eyes and wink while laughing at her despair. you thought that was real? wise up, babe!

you wise up, she'd say, ready to jump at anything to forget what had just happened. she'd tell her it was time for them to stop living so recklessly, and then how dash had run and left her alone at the first sight of trouble. in her wildest dreams they'd leave to somewhere far away to begin again from the scratch: a beautiful place where she'd walk around barefoot every day and a beautiful place where brooke could heal. she had always wanted to take her to her home in texas, and maybe now it would be the perfect time.

but brooke would never want to go — too ordinary for her, apparently. you can play house with jim if you want it so much. so they'd depart each time a tour was finished, brooke to ignore her problems partying all day somewhere and barbara to rest and reflect whether she could take it anymore or it was time to leave. she'd never leave, though. they would go on as long as brooke wanted, for she didn't feel she could be brave enough, ready enough or whatever, to put her foot down and say they were done. that meant going through all the crises, breakdowns, and now she could add to the list, overdoses. how promising that sounds.
