Now i think i definetly should explain you, who is "luber" and what does it mean

Actually i will use other spelling, cause "luber" is kinda incorrect. It's not from lube, it's from name of town near Moscow (Russia's capital) , Lyubertsy.

Lyuber (любер) is member of "subculture" (idk if it's correct to call them so) of youth in Lyubertsy. That subculture was against any nonformal people like punks, hippies, metalheads and so on, was sport-based, so lyubers all were well-trained, but that power was used against other people. Actually, at one time they became patriotic and antifashist, so police started to like them (cops didn't like nonformal people too, as they do in Russia nowadays). Seems preety ok? Maybe. But it became worse. In the middle of 80s they mostly turned out as just violently minded people, not just from Lyubertsy, but from other towns around Moscow, without any ideology, just violence. Even cops started to hate them. They were gone with rise of mafia in Russia and just turned into a stereotipe about people from Lyubertsy (like they all are violent, crazy nationalistic patriots, who hates Moscow sitizens)

So. About Любэ part. Lyubers are not word for Lyube fans, as you can see. They have nothing in common exept.... yes. Lyubertsy. Singer (maybe other members too - i don't was to search it) of this band is from this town, they even have song called after it. And they was not supposed to be nationalistic, but if you're patriotic rock band in Russia.... you'll have nationalistic kind of meaning of this word. And they was (is??? i don't want to search!!!!) one of president Putin favorite bands. So yes.

That's definetly funny how person, who reblogged op with this tags, came to right meaning but in strange way.

Don't mind me knowing so much about that shit. I'm against russian goverment, i'm in gay relationship (that's illegal there - "LGBT community" is banned). My bf is from Lyubertsy, was NOT part of lyubers, just was raised near these people and know about them much.

‼️“They are holding me in an unknown place for 4 months without trial or investigation. Someone please help!” — security forces kidnapped and hid three civilians of the occupied Gornostaevka, Kherson region, for more than 4 months.  Twin brothers Ivan and Anton Shtepa (photo 1) and 23-year-old Denis Shum (photo 2) were detained by police in Gornostaevka without explanation in November 2023. Distant relatives of the young people and sources told ASTRA about this. After that, neither of them was ever seen again.  “Their close relatives went to the police department where the detainees were initially taken, but they have not been given any information for more than 4 months in a row. At first they reassured us that “we have them, we’ll release them soon,” but they never showed any of them. Now they were allegedly taken to the FSB. No arrest records, no criminal cases, nothing. People, it turns out, were kidnapped and disappeared without a trace. Lawyers tried to make requests - no information. But not a single lawyer wants to go there,” one of the distant relatives of the disappeared tells ASTRA. On November 20, 27-year-old Ruslan Rusnak was also detained in Gornostaevka. On the same day, after many hours of interrogation , Rusnak died right in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the village. The same police officers who detained Shtep and Shum confessed to his torture.  Thus, 47-year-old policeman from Lyubertsy , senior police lieutenant Igor Pimenov, confessed that he tortured Ruslan to death. Pimenov said that he committed torture together with 4 other police officers - the so-called “chief of the Department of Internal Affairs Gornostaevsky”, police colonel Andrei Polevshchikov; his deputy - Lieutenant Colonel V. A. Merkurov; the head of the Criminal Investigation Department, police captain V. M. Plyukhin and the detective, police major A. B. Denisov . All of them were detained. Plyukhin, Pimenov and 3 other unknown security officials went to arrest the missing Ivan and Anton Shtep (photo 1) and Denis Shum, ASTRA found out. Emergency services are on the scene," he added. Russia's Defense Ministry also said air defenses destroyed a drone over Lyubertsy district around 4:30 am local time and blamed Kyiv for the attempted attack. Air traffic at Moscow's Domodedovo and Vnukovo airports was temporarily suspended, the state-run TASS news agency reported earlier, citing the aviation service. Meanwhile, two other drones were destroyed by air defense systems over the western Bryansk region bordering Ukraine, Russia's Defense Ministry said on Telegram. It did not say whether there had been damage or casualties.
