my solo last year i dedicated to my grandpa who passed away and meant the world to me. he was pretty much the only person i always got along with in my family. he would wake up early in the morning to get me bagels when i slept over his house cause i wasn't allowed out that much. i would spend countless days with him, going clamming or holding onto his livevest when we were jetskiing. my grandpa was my everything and sooner he became sick and got alzhiemers. he was an amazing man to everyone and it was so sad to see him die a slow painful death. the last year of his life he would yell and scream everytime i went to say hi cause he couldn't remember me anymore. my heart was broken, but i knew the old him i loved would stay with me forever. the night he passed away i had a dream he was healthy and went to tell my mother but he  dissapeared the next morning i woke up and my parents said "grandpas gone now" i'll never want to hear those words again, ever.
