my breton oc, Lyric, before she grew up and became a vampire and an accomplice of the sixth house cult 😇 her backstory will be under the read more!

Lyric lived a quiet life with her family in High Rock, studying magic and volunteering at her local chapel (her parents were ever faithful to the Divines)

some time in her 30s, Lyric was abducted off the road by rogue vampires and when she woke up, she was being sacrificed to their god (molag bal most likely). she would have died if she hadn't recognised that her captors were indeed vampires. knowing it was her only chance to survive, lyric sneakily bit into her captor as she pretended to struggle to free herself, and she infected herself with vampirism. after she was "killed" and offered as human sacrifice, her body was left behind and her captors went on their way.

waking up as a newly turned vampire, alone and without any possessions, lyric knew she couldn't return to her family now that her existence was an offense to their faith, so she faked her death and took to travelling tamriel, infiltrating daedric cults under the guise of being a new initiate, and drinking all the cultists dry in their sleep. she doesn't feed on innocent civilians.

one night when she was feeding on a couple of drunken city guards (after they attempted to harass her), lyric was approached by a mer named Jas, who was impressed by Lyric's survival skills and offered her a partnership: Lyric would have a safe place to live in, and she could feed on Jas' own inherited cultists (its a long story) anytime she wants, as long as she keeps watch over said cultists and uses her vampiric powers to obtain control over them and keep them from committing any crimes when Jas isn't there to do it herself.

Lyric accepts the offer (reluctantly), and in time she develops a romantic relationship with Jas, and she spends her life by her side no matter what Terrible Scenarios jas gets them involved in 🥰

Lyric's sign is The Tower (she's a libra) and she's bisexual. she is currently 82 ✌️

the only relative of hers that she keeps in touch with is her half-bosmer cousin, Phy, who was born after Lyric had already been turned. neither Lyric nor Phy have close relatives anymore, so they became each other's family, and Phy also gets dragged into Jas' weird cult shenanigans—but wait! Phy isn't so innocent either, shes not-so-secretly CRAZY about hircine! 🙊😱

and so Lyric now has to keep not only Jas, but Phy as well, out of any trouble surrounding strange gods 🫡
