Felt like making a new character, accidentally made a viable build??? I've got an OoV Paladin that somehow survived having TWO of his turns skipped over in Honor Mode with the Intellect Devourers, and it wasn't a "oh they missed" kind of survival, he tanked enough hits to actually leave the fight alive.

The intellect devourers

The bandits in the tomb

The skeletons in the tomb

The goblin fight

The harpies???

Lyonel's a half sun elf and a noble from Marsember, the busiest port in Cormyr. He's always been a free spirit like his mother; his father wanted him to mellow and start taking responsibility at his estate, but his mother was insistent that he spend his youth free of that, so he was allowed to do what he liked. ⠀ He fell for, then married a Gold Dwarf named Kathmera. She was a local cooper who'd shoved him into helping her carry things as he passed her by on the road, and she was so up front and blunt that it stunned him, and he fell for her, HARD. ⠀ In 1486 (6 years pre-BG3), the Shadovar sacked the city. Lyonel's family tried to escape, but Lyonel lost Kathmera in the panic and tried to go back after her. His father tried to stop him, and sustained a bad injury going after him that still hasn't healed. Lyonel arrived just in time to see Kathmera die. ⠀ In the aftermath, he changed, overwhelmed by grief and rage, and went down the path of an Oath of Vengeance paladin under Sehanine Moonbow. He pledged eternal enmity to Shar and the Shadovar.

Also I have decided that he's going to romance Wyll. Once he gets over grief and all that.
