This is how White Racists used to lynch African-Americans in America. Then, they would take pictures of the lynching, capturing themselves in the pictures, as if these were sporting events as opposed to the atrocities that they were. (sic)

Ida B. Wells exposed this inhumane treatment of African-Americans to the world via her investigative reporting related to the brutality of lynchings. As a result of her challenging the White Power structure, she became a target.
