The Peaceful Waters at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Waikiki Beach

I always did love turquoise...but, I definitely love it a little bit more in Hawaii at Ritz-Carlton @RCwaikiki.💙 I want to tell you guys that I’ve been relaxing in this pool for days, finishing Stephen King’s book, “On Writing,” and working on my own book while sipping a Mai-Tai. I want to tell you that...but that would be a LIE. What I’ve done instead is work in the pool (with an editing pen in my hand and a guest list on my phone), stepping out to call my assistant Alex periodically - who worked multiple events and projects for me back in LA - and forgot to apply sunscreen. But you know what? The view was so killer and the water so warm and welcoming that it ended up being the most beautiful balance of work, luxury and peace. Kind of sounds like the qualities of a typical @RitzCarlton guest to me.
