Classic cars are a cool as fuck thing to spend money on if you’re rich tbh. I feel the same way about jewelry. As far as bags go I don’t personally own any luxury bags but they did that exposé that was I think Dior someone leaked that it costs them $50 to make a bag like okay they are gorgeous but come on now. Ppl I’ve seen who do buy luxury goods say they are starting to feel fast fashion. And you know who everyone agrees quality is just gorgeous on? Coach bags which a lot of ppl think they are too good for. The coach quality is wayyy better than Dior. Also like spending a lot of money on jewelry makes sense to me especially gold only really has gone up in value. Handbags are pretty much depreciating except for Hermes which I personally dc if it’s an investment I couldn’t do it. They wouldn’t sell me one but ofc there’s resale.
But also on the topic of they wouldn’t sell me one as a fat woman I broke up with giving a fuck about mainstream fashion a long time ago which I have loved doing and I would feel personally a little weird about buying like a Chanel bag or any company that doesn’t sell plus sizes which is all of them. Like I just feel like they clearly don’t want me wearing their stuff why should I even want to do it myself? I’m not inclined at all.

Why is the Chanel bag so expensive?
Chanel is one of the most iconic names in the fashion world, and its handbags are coveted by fashion lovers globally. However, Chanel bags come with a hefty price tag—often ranging from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. This raises the question: why are Chanel bags so expensive?
In this post, we’ll explore the factors that contribute to the high cost of Chanel handbags, from their unparalleled craftsmanship to their status as a luxury symbol.
1. Heritage and Brand Legacy
Chanel, founded by Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel in 1910, has become synonymous with elegance, sophistication, and timeless style. The brand’s history plays a significant role in its perceived value. Owning a Chanel bag is more than owning a luxury accessory; it’s owning a piece of fashion history.
The iconic 2.55 handbag, introduced in February 1955, revolutionized the handbag industry by offering women a functional, hands-free option. Decades later, styles like the Boy Bag and Gabrielle Bag continue to honor this legacy while appealing to modern trends.
This rich heritage elevates Chanel bags beyond their functional purpose, turning them into collectibles that carry cultural and historical significance.
2. Exceptional Craftsmanship
Each Chanel bag is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Here’s what goes into making one:
Handmade Excellence
Every Chanel bag is handmade by skilled artisans, many of whom undergo years of training to perfect their craft. From cutting the leather to sewing the signature quilted pattern, each step is carried out with precision.
Materials of the Highest Quality
Chanel uses only the finest materials for its handbags, including:
Lambskin leather for its soft, supple texture.
Caviar leather, known for its durability and pebbled texture.
Luxurious hardware, such as gold-plated or ruthenium finishes, for clasps and chains.
Attention to Detail
The quilted stitching, an iconic feature of Chanel bags, isn’t just decorative—it also reinforces the bag’s structure. Each stitch is carefully aligned to ensure consistency. Even the bag’s interior, often lined with burgundy leather, showcases the brand’s commitment to perfection.
3. Limited Supply and Exclusivity
Chanel controls the supply of its handbags to maintain their exclusivity. Unlike mass-market brands, Chanel produces a limited number of bags each year. This scarcity drives up demand and reinforces the brand's luxury status.
Additionally, certain Chanel designs, such as seasonal or limited-edition bags, are only available for a short time. This exclusivity makes them highly sought after and justifies their high price.
4. Strategic Pricing and Brand Perception
Chanel employs a deliberate pricing strategy to position itself as a luxury brand. Over the years, Chanel has consistently increased its prices, making its bags even more desirable.
For instance, the Chanel Classic Flap Bag has seen significant price hikes—sometimes multiple times in a single year. While this may seem counterintuitive, it aligns with the principle of luxury pricing: the higher the price, the more exclusive and prestigious the product appears.
5. Timeless Design and Investment Value
Chanel bags are known for their timeless appeal. A Chanel Classic Flap Bag purchased decades ago still looks stylish today, making it a staple in any wardrobe.
Resale Value
Many Chanel bags appreciate over time, especially rare or vintage pieces. The Classic Flap Bag and limited-edition designs are particularly known for their strong resale value, often selling for more than their original price on platforms like The RealReal and Vestiaire Collective.
6. Marketing and Celebrity Endorsements
Chanel’s marketing campaigns are an art form in themselves. From partnering with A-list celebrities to showcasing its bags on glamorous runways, Chanel ensures its products remain aspirational.
Icons like Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy, and today’s stars like Margot Robbie and Jennie Kim have all been associated with Chanel, further solidifying its status as a symbol of luxury and elegance.
7. Global Brand Recognition
Chanel is one of the most recognized and respected luxury brands in the world. Its interlocking double C logo is a symbol of sophistication and exclusivity, making Chanel bags highly desirable for those looking to make a statement.
8. Sustainability and Ethical Practices
In recent years, Chanel has emphasized sustainability and ethical practices in its production process. This includes responsibly sourcing materials and investing in innovative methods to reduce environmental impact.
While these efforts add to production costs, they align with the values of modern luxury consumers who prioritize sustainability.
9. The Experience of Owning Chanel
Buying a Chanel bag isn’t just a transaction—it’s an experience. From the moment you step into a Chanel boutique, you’re immersed in a world of luxury.
Personalized Service
Chanel’s sales associates are trained to provide exceptional service, guiding customers through the selection process and ensuring their purchase feels special.
Luxury Packaging
The iconic black-and-white packaging, complete with a camellia flower and ribbon, is a statement in itself. It adds to the overall allure of owning a Chanel bag.
Conclusion: The True Cost of Luxury
The high price of Chanel bags is the result of a combination of factors: impeccable craftsmanship, premium materials, limited supply, and the brand’s rich heritage. Each Chanel bag is more than just an accessory—it’s a status symbol, an investment, and a piece of art.
While the price may seem exorbitant to some, for many, owning a Chanel bag is a lifelong dream that represents success, sophistication, and timeless elegance.
So, is a Chanel bag worth the price? For those who value luxury, history, and craftsmanship, the answer is often a resounding yes.

Are You Allowed to Resell Hermès?: Examining Possibilities

The brand Hermès, which is associated with exclusivity and luxury, is very sought-after for its accessories, apparel, scarves, and purses. A common query is: Is it legal to resale Hermès merchandise? Yes, however there are certain crucial factors to take into account. The practical, moral, and legal ramifications of reselling Hermès goods will be discussed in this article. Remember, that you can find the best place to sell a Birkin bag at Resellers Connector without commissions.
Legal Aspects of Reselling Hermès
Under the first-sale doctrine, once you purchase a Hermès product legally, you are allowed to resell it. This doctrine, applicable in many jurisdictions such as the United States, grants ownership rights to buyers, enabling them to resell items without requiring the brand's authorization.
However, there are legal caveats:
Authenticity: Reselling counterfeit Hermès items is strictly prohibited and can result in severe legal penalties, including fines or imprisonment.
Trademarks: When advertising Hermès items, avoid infringing on the brand’s trademarks. Clearly state that you are not affiliated with Hermès if you operate as a reseller.
Ethical and Practical Considerations
Hermès is known for its exclusivity, which is one reason it discourages reselling. For example, the brand imposes limits on how many iconic handbags, such as the Birkin or Kelly, an individual can purchase annually. This strategy is intended to preserve the allure of scarcity.
When reselling Hermès, consider the following:
Transparency: Provide accurate details about the product's condition, origin, and authenticity. Buyers are willing to pay a premium for verified luxury items.
Platform Selection: Choose reputable resale platforms like Reseller Connector, which often authenticate products and build trust with buyers.
Pricing Ethics: While Hermès items often retain or increase their value over time, pricing fairly will ensure a positive reputation among buyers.
The Role of Resale Platforms
Luxury resale platforms play a pivotal role in reselling Hermès items. These platforms authenticate products, ensuring they are genuine, and provide a seamless buying and selling experience. But where can i sell my birkin?
Selling directly on platforms like ResellerConncetor or your own website is also an option but requires extra diligence in proving authenticity and complying with consumer protection laws.
International Considerations
If you plan to sell Hermès items internationally, be aware of potential restrictions. Some countries impose strict regulations on the resale of luxury goods, particularly when it comes to importing or exporting high-value items. Check local laws to ensure compliance.
Conclusion
Reselling Hermès is allowed and can be a lucrative endeavor due to the brand’s timeless appeal and enduring value. However, it requires adherence to legal standards, ethical considerations, and careful platform selection. Whether you’re a casual seller or an experienced reseller, authenticity and transparency are crucial to success in the luxury resale market.
By understanding the nuances of reselling Hermès, you can navigate the market with confidence while preserving the exclusivity and prestige that the brand represents.

Why You Need to Have Luxury Handbag in Your Closet
You may have heard celebrities, socialites, and other figures gushing about expensive handbags. Many women aspire to possess and flaunt these kinds of purses. However, because they are costly, it is not that easy.
Therefore, what qualifies these purses as luxury? Luxury handbags earn the title of artistic works by using high-quality fabrics and precise hand-stitching techniques. Luxury Wandler handbags stand apart from other products, which makes them unaffordable to the general public. The long-lasting nature of these luxurious products, alongside their excellent resale value and continuous trend popularity, allows some people to consider them investments.
The Reasons Designer Handbags Are Expensive The most upscale handbags from the world's largest design brands are made of premium materials that last a long time while maintaining their opulent appearance. These bags' prices typically stay the same or occasionally go up from their retail price. Both monetarily and aesthetically, they turn out to be a terrific investment. Well-known Fashion House Brand The brand associated with designer bags is one of the factors contributing to its high cost. Luxury handbags get value from the reputation that high-end brands have established through years of excellence. Because of the great regard that the public has for these companies, having one of their products enhances your reputation.
Valuable Investment Purchasing an item from a luxury handbag brand could be a wise financial decision. Some even believe it to be a more profitable investment than the stock market or gold. Designer bags are an exception to the rule that the price of other items tends to decrease after you buy and open them. When you sell them in a secondary market, they usually maintain or surpass their retail price, especially if you purchase limited editions. Being Exclusive Due to their exclusivity, luxury goods are pricey. Not everyone can readily visit these businesses to purchase the best-selling bag. These bags typically have a lengthy waiting list before you can get one, so they can't just pick the accessories with the hottest styles and go. Furthermore, luxury businesses manage their products' manufacture to maintain their exclusivity and reputation, making them increasingly more challenging to obtain.
Access to high-end brands is becoming increasingly restricted. If you're lucky, you might discover the high-end shoulder bags you've been searching for, reliable internet retailers, and reliable resellers. Crafted with High-Quality Materials Most people go out of their way to buy a Wandler handbag for sale as a treat. Higher-priced purses provide enough value for thrifty shoppers, even among them. Luxury accessories use premium materials, including soft and exotic leather, alongside other materials for their modern and fashionable creations. Because of their sturdy nature, these accessories provide lasting durability.
Although trendy shoulder bags and other inexpensive items from fast fashion retailers might appeal to you, there's no assurance that they will last. Some customers claim that because the bag has already worn out so quickly, they should have replaced it sooner rather than later. Even after many years, customers can count on their premium products to look brand new. They might even be priceless treasures. Craftsmanship Reputable luxury businesses use the best method and accuracy when creating their bags. The finest artisans typically create these bags by hand to attain a high degree of quality. They guarantee flawlessness in even the finest details and stitches. Luxury bags cost more because artisans spend more time creating a single bag than mass-produced goods.
Status Sign Bags from well-known fashion labels become status symbols because they are so opulent. Individuals who purchase luxury bags experience a boost or confirmation of their social standing. The public's perception of them is usually of respect, adoration, and occasional jealousy when they are spotted carrying limited-edition bags. Work of Art A versatile handbag belongs at the heart of every fashion collection. Several fashionable handbag styles come out every season, yet timeless leather bags remain fashionable throughout all periods. The Wandler handbag collection combines form with function to showcase an elegant modern style that separates it from other designs.
Wandler handbags create an appeal through their ability to achieve androgynous styles with feminine details and their essential yet elegant design approach.
All Wandler leather items possess an enduring appeal because goldsmiths in Italy collaborate with Elza Wandler to create polished, structured designs. Get a Legitimate Luxury Handbag From an Expert Designer bags are expensive because they are excellent investments for increasing your wealth, position, and sense of taste. The Secret Economy of Lost Luggage: Where Your Bags Really Go
In 1946, the world’s first commercial airline lost luggage service was born — not out of corporate efficiency but from necessity. A small-town entrepreneur in Scottsboro, Alabama, saw what others ignored: unclaimed baggage was not just a logistical problem; it was an untapped market.
Thousands of suitcases travel across the world every day, crisscrossing through security checkpoints, conveyor belts, and cargo holds. Some never meet their owners again.
The reasons are mundane — mislabeled tags, tight layovers, or simple human oversight. But what happens next is an unseen economy that thrives on what travelers leave behind.
For most, lost luggage is an inconvenience, an anecdote to share with frustration over dinner. But for a few, it is a business model. Unclaimed baggage doesn’t simply vanish. It is cataloged, stored, auctioned, resold, repurposed, or sometimes even destroyed. In the elaborate yet complex network of airlines, salvage firms, and resellers, a lost suitcase becomes an asset.
Did you know? Airlines mishandle around 25 million bags annually. While most are recovered, nearly 5% are never claimed and enter the secondary economy.
Airlines typically hold unclaimed baggage for 90 days. During this period, efforts are made to reunite bags with their rightful owners. Some succeed, many do not. Once that window closes, the unclaimed bags enter the secondary economy.
The largest hub for this silent trade is the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, Alabama. What began as a small-town operation has become a retail empire where the forgotten possessions of the world’s travelers are sorted, stocked, and sold. Every week, trucks carrying lost luggage from major airlines arrive and bring in thousands of items — from designer handbags to gold jewelry, from wedding dresses to musical instruments.
Did you know? The most bizarre item ever found in lost luggage? A 40-carat emerald! Other oddities include a 5,000-year-old Egyptian artifact and a full suit of armor.
The economics of lost luggage operates much like any commodity market: supply, demand, and unpredictability define its value. Vintage cameras, luxury watches, forgotten engagement rings — some items fetch a premium, others are auctioned off in bulk, unseen and unexamined. Some buyers seek treasure, others seek volume. What is worthless to one traveler becomes valuable to another.
Did you know? The Unclaimed Baggage Center processes around 7,000 new items every single day, making it a mecca for bargain hunters and treasure seekers alike.
Technology has altered this ecosystem, but not entirely. Airlines use sophisticated tracking systems, RFID tags, and AI-powered reconciliation tools to reduce lost baggage. Yet, errors persist — automated systems fail to update in real-time, luggage tags peel off mid-transit, and human oversight misroutes bags to unintended destinations. The business of lost luggage continues to thrive in the gaps of an imperfect system.
The secondary market is not without controversy. Some question the ethics of reselling belongings that never reached their owners. Others argue that it’s necessary to prevent waste and give items a second life. Morality shifts with perspective. What was once an inconvenience for one traveler becomes a fortunate find for another.
Besides resale, some lost luggage takes a different route. Charities often receive unclaimed items — clothes, shoes, and essentials that find their way to shelters and communities in need. In this way, lost baggage becomes an unlikely bridge between travelers and those they will never meet, a redistribution of wealth driven by accident rather than intention.
Did you know? A significant portion of lost luggage contains brand-new items, including unworn luxury clothing, electronics, and even sealed cosmetics, making them highly desirable in resale markets.
The story of lost luggage is not just about possessions — it is about movement, about transition, about things left behind and the economies built on them. From Scottsboro’s retail floors to international auction houses, the forgotten contents of suitcases tell a larger story: one of travel, of imperfection, and of an unseen industry that turns loss into opportunity.
“All things lost eventually find a place,” wrote an anonymous traveler whose misplaced journal ended up on the shelf of a second-hand bookstore. In the secret economy of lost luggage, that statement is more than poetic — it is a business model, a cycle of misplacement and rediscovery, an invisible thread woven into the world’s journey.

YSL Handbags Wholesale in USA: A Guide for Buyers and Retailers
Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) is one of the most prestigious luxury fashion brands in the world, known for its iconic handbags that exude elegance, sophistication, and timeless appeal. Due to their high demand, many retailers and businesses seek opportunities to purchase YSL handbags wholesale in USA to offer their customers authentic luxury products at competitive prices.
If you're interested in buying YSL handbags wholesale in the USA, whether for resale or personal use, this guide will provide essential information on how to source them, the benefits of wholesale purchasing, and key factors to consider before making a purchase.
Why Buy YSL Handbags Wholesale?
Buying YSL handbags at wholesale prices comes with several advantages, especially for businesses looking to resell designer bags. Here are some key benefits:
1. Lower Cost Per Unit
Wholesale purchasing allows buyers to acquire authentic YSL handbags at a significantly lower price per unit compared to retail prices. This enables retailers to increase their profit margins while still offering customers luxury goods at competitive rates.
2. Access to Authentic and Limited-Edition Products
Many wholesalers have direct connections with luxury brand distributors, giving buyers access to a wide range of YSL handbags, including seasonal collections and limited-edition pieces.
3. Expansion of Business Opportunities
For boutique owners, online retailers, and resellers, purchasing YSL handbags wholesale in the USA can be a lucrative business move. By offering high-end products at attractive prices, businesses can attract a wider customer base.
4. Convenience and Bulk Availability
Wholesalers typically have a large inventory, making it easier for retailers to stock up on the latest styles without worrying about supply shortages.
Where to Buy YSL Handbags Wholesale in the USA
Finding a reliable and reputable YSL handbags wholesale supplier is crucial to ensure authenticity and quality. Here are some common sources for wholesale luxury handbags:
1. Authorized Luxury Wholesalers
There are reputable wholesalers and distributors in the USA that specialize in luxury handbags from brands like YSL, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton. Some well-known platforms include:
Jewelers & Luxury Goods Distributors
Department Store Overstock Suppliers
Luxury Fashion Wholesalers in New York & Los Angeles
2. Online Wholesale Marketplaces
Several online platforms offer YSL handbags at wholesale prices, but it’s important to verify the authenticity of the products before purchasing. Popular options include:
Joor (Luxury B2B wholesale marketplace)
Luxury Garage Sale (Pre-owned designer wholesale platform)
Tradesy & The RealReal (Wholesale for authenticated luxury goods)
3. Direct from Brand Outlets and Sales
Sometimes, YSL and other luxury brands offer discounts on bulk purchases directly from their outlets or special sales events. This can be a great opportunity for retailers to acquire authentic bags at lower prices.
4. Fashion Trade Shows and Expos
Luxury fashion trade shows and expos in the USA, such as MAGIC Las Vegas and Coterie New York, offer great networking opportunities for retailers looking to connect with wholesale distributors.
Things to Consider Before Purchasing YSL Handbags Wholesale
Before buying YSL handbags wholesale in the USA, keep the following factors in mind to avoid scams and ensure a smooth business transaction:
1. Authenticity Verification
Counterfeit luxury handbags are widespread in the market. Always request authentication certificates and verify the reputation of the wholesaler before making a purchase.
2. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)
Most wholesale suppliers require a minimum order quantity. Ensure that the MOQ aligns with your business needs and budget.
3. Pricing and Profit Margins
Compare wholesale prices from different suppliers and calculate potential profit margins before investing in bulk purchases.
4. Return Policies and Warranties
Check whether the wholesaler has return policies or warranties on defective or damaged items to avoid financial losses.
5. Licensing and Business Requirements
Some wholesalers only sell to registered businesses. Ensure that you have the necessary licenses and reseller permits to access wholesale prices.
Conclusion
Purchasing YSL handbags wholesale in USA can be an excellent opportunity for retailers and resellers to expand their luxury fashion business. However, it is essential to work with reputable suppliers, verify authenticity, and understand the wholesale market dynamics before making a purchase.
If you’re considering starting a business in the luxury handbag market, doing thorough research and connecting with trusted wholesalers will help you build a successful and profitable venture.

Luxury Business: 5 Hermès Handbags That Are Worth the Investment
Hermès handbags are coveted for their impeccable craftsmanship, luxurious materials, and iconic status. But with price tags reaching stratospheric heights, are they truly a wise investment? The answer depends on the bag itself.
Remember that you can become an Hermès reseller and sell or buy your original Hermès handbags on Resellers Connector without commissions. Here's a breakdown of 5 Hermès bags to invest in this year (and some to potentially avoid):
Investment All-Stars:
The Birkin
The undisputed queen of Hermès bags to invest, the Birkin boasts a timeless design and legendary exclusivity. Made famous by Jane Birkin, these bags are crafted from various leathers and exotic skins. Classic colors like black, taupe, and navy in neutral leathers like Togo or Clemence are the most coveted and retain the highest resale value, sometimes even exceeding their original purchase price.
The Kelly
A close cousin to the Birkin, the Kelly features a structured silhouette and the iconic Kelly lock closure. Like the Birkin, classic colors and neutral leathers are the most investment-worthy. Vintage Kellys from specific eras, especially those in discontinued leathers or limited-edition hardware, can be particularly valuable. It’s an item currently on the hermes resale market.
The Constance
This elegant shoulder bag is a favorite for its functionality and understated luxury. Constances in neutral leathers and classic colors consistently perform well on the resale market, with some fetching over 120% of their original retail price.
The Picotin Lock
A more understated option, the Picotin Lock is a structured bucket bag with a distinctive lock closure. This bag is prized for its functionality and versatility. Neutral leathers and classic colors again reign supreme for resale value, making the Picotin Lock a sound investment for those seeking a more practical Hermès piece.
The Evelyne TPM
This crossbody bag is crafted from Epsom leather, known for its durability and scratch resistance. The Evelyne TPM is a popular choice for everyday wear due to its functionality and relaxed aesthetic. While not fetching the same resale prices as the Birkin or Kelly, well-maintained Evelyne TPMs in neutral colors still retain a significant portion of their original value.

The Ultimate Guide to Luxury Handbag Resale: How to Buy, Sell, and Invest in Designer Bags
The luxury handbag resale market is experiencing an unprecedented surge in popularity. As more fashion-conscious consumers embrace sustainable shopping and seek high-end accessories without the hefty retail markup, resale platforms and consignment stores have become the go-to destinations for designer bag lovers. Whether you're a seller looking to maximize your return or a buyer searching for an iconic, hard-to-find piece, understanding this thriving market is key.
Why Luxury Handbag Resale is Booming
Sustainability Meets Style
Today’s savvy shoppers are making more eco-conscious choices, and the secondhand luxury market perfectly aligns with this shift. Buying pre-owned designer bags not only reduces waste but also promotes a circular economy, making luxury fashion both stylish and sustainable. Iconic brands like Chanel, Hermès, and Louis Vuitton are celebrated for their timeless designs and impeccable craftsmanship, ensuring they retain value and desirability over time.
A Smart Investment
Luxury bag resale isn’t just about fashion—it’s about financial savvy. Coveted models such as the Hermès Birkin, Chanel Classic Flap, and Louis Vuitton Speedy often appreciate in value, sometimes surpassing their original retail price. With the right knowledge, buyers can treat handbags as alternative investments, capitalizing on their enduring demand and prestige.
Affordable Luxury, Unparalleled Access
For many, owning a designer handbag at full price is out of reach. The pre-owned luxury market provides an opportunity to own authentic, high-end bags at a fraction of their original cost. It also offers access to exclusive, limited-edition pieces that are no longer available in stores, giving collectors and fashion enthusiasts the thrill of discovery.
Top Platforms for Luxury Bag Resale
