MadamePrezAmaya: So I know we are all freaked out but I am sure they are going to work on fixing things. Please remain calm, look out for one another in this dark and please please don't go crazy. We are one student body and one school. United we stand and divided we fall.

Well this was just...... perfect.....
Raven had finally decided to do what her roommate kept telling her to do and get out of the dorm for once, go do something fun, attend the festival, go to the haunted houses....
Raven had always loved haunted houses
And here the night was ruined by.... she wasn’t sure what.... she hadn’t managed to get any information yet
Calmly, she made her way towards the first person she saw and appeared silently behind them, waiting for whatever conversation they were having to die before speaking up
“Do you have any idea what’s going on, by any chance?”

“Okay, Okay I know that we are all scared but please stay calm. I have a flashlight on my keychain and on my bookbag, save your cell phone batteries if you can.” Amaya said as she made her way through the terrified crowd. “I am sure they will turn the lights and everything back on shortly. There is no need to freak out.” She herself was scared, but her parents would have a fit if she was seen doing anything other than remaining in control.

Good morning students, one and all. We are off to a fantastic start this year, and I could not be more impressed with the levels of interaction I’m already seeing. As you are all aware, today’s activity is the Icebreaker event! Below is a survey for each of you to fill out! Bring them to the Auditorium for this evening’s meet and greet event. Mingle with your fellow students, ask them about their surveys, and get to know each other! The two students who manage to mingle with and meet the highest number of other students will win prizes! So, you certainly won’t want to miss this! Anyone with questions may contact me directly! I look forward to seeing you all at the event!
OOC: Everyone will have until Friday, September 10 to complete their surveys and mingle with as many other characters as possible about their surveys. I’ll be keeping an eye on the dash and tallying how many folkx everyone talks to about the Icebreaker event and surveys specifically. And remember, just having your character(s) participate in the event will earn points to be used towards rewards in the future! Please be sure to tag your submissions with: luxe.event001
What are you the proudest of?
What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?
How do you prefer to end your day?
What’s something I would never guess about you?
What are three words that best describes you?
If you could win an Olympic medal for any sport, real or fake, what would it be?
If you could take a week off from your regular life to immerse yourself in learning something new, what would it be?
Where do you most want to visit in the world?
What’s one hobby you’d love to get into?
What’s your most hated household chore?
What’s the most beautiful place you’ve ever seen?
What's your love language?
If you could go back in time ten years and tell yourself something, what would you say?
If you could erase one event from history, which one would you erase?
What has required the most courage of you in your life so far?
What are your hobbies? What is your biggest passion?
What would your parents have named you if you were the opposite gender?
What TV shows are you watching right now?
What are you excited about most in your life right now?
What did you wish for last, like at your birthday or when throwing a coin into a fountain?
What is something that hasn’t happened yet, but would certainly break the internet?
Tell me an embarrassing yet funny story.
Is there a charitable cause you support?
What do you do when you’re not working?
What’s your favorite thing to do with your friends?
What’s the most useful thing you own?
What's your biggest fear?
What is something you have accomplished as an adult that your younger self would be proud of?
Where is one place you’d love to travel to again? What is the top holiday on your bucket list?
What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

From the Desk of the Headmistress:
Good Morning students of Luxe Academy! We hope everyone had a fabulous first day of classes! I know I speak for every member of the faculty and staff when I say we are all looking forward to another magnificent year here at the Academy! Remember, you will have until Wednesday, August 25, 2021 to finalize your class schedules, so if you’re interested in swapping any courses out, now is the time to do so!
Now, moving right along, we are here to announce our next big event to hit the halls of Luxe Academy- Student Government Elections! The elections represent a longstanding tradition here at Luxe, one that we are looking forward to carrying on this year! For the next week students will be free to campaign for whichever position they wish to hold. Campaigning may be done through various mediums, but ultimately whatever you do should be a means to one end- getting your name out there, and letting everyone know why you are the best choice for the open position.
Throughout the course of the next week, there will be a variety of small events/happenings that will help each character running to promote their platforms, and get their ideas out there! Please note that characters are welcome to run for more than one position, but should they be elected into more than one, the player will have to choose which they’d rather have. At that time, the runner up will be awarded the title of the available position!
Open Positions -President: The President of the Student Government will be the face of the organization. This person will be responsible for speaking on behalf of all students at Luxe Academy, running Student Government meetings, speaking at most coordinated events, and working directly with Luxe Administration to coordinate events. -Vice President: The Vice President of the Student Government will be the President’s second-in-command. They will oversee the flow of meetings, help keep the President organized and assist wherever necessary, and will take over Presidential duties should the President fall ill or otherwise be unable to participate. -Secretary: The Secretary of the Student Government will be responsible for keeping track of and recording all meeting minutes, documenting times and dates of events, and keeping track of all necessary paperwork for the Student Government as a whole. -Treasurer: The Treasurer of the Student Government is responsible for all monetary and financial transactions for the organization. This person will keep track of funds, money needed to host events, and be responsible for any charity or other monetary needs. This individual will work directly with the President/VP as well as Luxe Administration to communicate regarding financial needs. -Event Coordinator: The Event Coordinator of the Student Government is responsible for the planning and coordination of all Student Government run events. This means any dances, dinners, charity auctions, or anything else the Government undertakes or hosts will be organized primarily by the EC. They will also be in charge of delegating responsibility when it comes to the undertaking of these events.
*Please note that anyone who wishes to participate in Student Government but does not want to undertake one of these titles is welcome to do so by contacting the President after elections have completed.
Campaigning may begin today, and will end with a school-wide election held Friday, August 27! We look forward to seeing the creativity of our students as you pursue your goals and campaign for your desired title! As always, anyone with questions is free to contact Admin H or Admin Chris for further details or clarification. Happy Campaigning!

Alright my loves! In this post, I will be discussing our ‘Event within an Event’, the Masked portion of this year’s Annual Halloween Ball! Please read the instructions below the cut carefully, to ensure total understanding of the event and what is expected of each player! As always, anyone with questions is free to contact me at any time, I will be around for the remainder of the day as well as for the better portion of the weekend! Remember that you are free to keep threads related to this event running through Wednesday, November 3, 2021. If you choose to simply HC the event with a partner, please remember to place your HCs in a post on the dash!
OOC: Upon arrival at the gymnasium, students will be asked to stop at an ornately decorated table to pick up a masquerade mask. Each mask will be handed to your character(s) by a Luxe Academy faculty member at random. While masks may appear to be different, each one passed out has a mate- a mask that looks identical to another mask, given to another student! During the ball, each student with a mask will be required to locate the student possessing the mask identical to theirs. Once you have located your mask’s mate, you will be required to spend a minimum of half an hour with the person possessing your identical mask. This time may be spent doing any activity- dancing, relaxing over a bite to eat, or even attending any of the Carnival events (which will remain set up and running through the end of the Ball). You are required to post either a thread or a set of HC’s regarding your time with your fellow student! And, of course, you are more than welcome to spend more than just half an hour with whomever you are paired with. The purpose of this activity is to encourage everyone to broaden their horizons, and interact with those they might not have before. PLEASE TAG ALL THREADS AND HC POSTS RELATED TO THIS EVENT WITH luxe.event004!

Good afternoon students, faculty, and staff of Luxe Academy. It is our sincerest hope that each of you has thoroughly enjoyed your weekend, and that you are each ringing in the holiday season as you see fit. We come to you this evening to announce the latest event to hit the halls of Luxe Academy! This is one we are certain each of you will thoroughly enjoy. Beginning tomorrow, December 6, 2021, we will be holding our Annual Submissive Auction! This event is one which Luxe Academy is known for, and one which is sure to draw a whole host of exciting events here on the Academy’s Campus! Please remember to have your bids in no later than Tuesday, December 7 to participate, or you will be randomly assigned! We look forward to seeing where this wonderful event leads!
OOC: Each mun with a Dominant or a Dominant Leaning Switch in play will send me a list of 3 submissives they’d like to bid on. Please have these lists in to me no later than Tuesday! From there, each Dominant or Dominant Leaning Switch will be assigned a submissive to enter into a ‘Mock Claim’ with for one week. During the Mock Claim Week, Dominants are required to treat their submissive/submissive leaning Switch companion as they would treat the submissive they are claiming. You will be expected to come up with rules to be followed during your time together (as you see fit), expectations, and even to place a temporary collar on your submissive for the duration of your time together. Please remember that anything happening within these relationships is expected to be 100% consentual! No exceptions! Also, please remember that while this event is not required, chosing not to participate will leave your characters left out of a wonderful development opportunity, and will also mean that you will be required to participate in everything going along with the Winter Retreat, our next event. As always, anyone with questions is more than welcome to reach out! please make sure to tag all related posts appropriately, with luxe.event006.

Good evening staff, faculty, and students of Luxe Academy! We hope each of you had a wonderful holiday, and are ready to get back to classes and get our heads back in the school game! That is, unless you’re too excited about our upcoming Winter Retreat! A gentle reminder, students, that because we are out-of-classes for the majority of December, your finals are fast approaching. Amidst the excitement of the activities we have planned on-campus, please remember to remain focused, and end this academic term strong! Now, on to the most exciting news- I am pleased to announce our newest event to be held here at Luxe Academy! From now until Tuesday, we will be hosting an ESCAPE ROOM here on the grounds of Luxe Academy! Students wishing to participate should be sure to come in a group of at least three students, with no more than six students! Come through and experience the thrill of escaping Sherlock’s Manor! We will be awarding prizes to The Fastest Escapers, Most Number of Tries, and Most Enthusiastic! Each group will have ten minutes to escape the Manor!
OOC: The name of this event, friends, is interaction! Form a variety of groups, have your characters try the Escape Room several times, and get creative and competitive with the fun prizes that will be awarded! From the desk of the Headmistress
Good evening students of Luxe Academy! On the back of the events which took place on campus this morning, I wanted to take a moment to address the situation as it unfolds. We are more than aware of the video each of you was forced to view this morning, as well as the implications of some of the material contained in the film. While this may seem a meaningless and arbitrary request, I shall request nonetheless that you do not panic. We understand how difficult that may be. However, we can assure you that we here at Luxe Academy are taking the recent security breaches and subsequent threats very, very seriously. Along with hiring four extra security guards to patrol campus grounds, we have contacted a forensic technology firm to look into the recent cyber attacks. We want you all to feel assured that these matters are being handled appropriately, and will not be taken lightly. Anyone with questions or concerns is both welcome and encouraged to reach out to me directly.
Now, with that out of the way, on to better and happier topics. I want to personally thank each and every one of you for coming out to make our Halloween Events so incredibly special! We had an absolute blast, and we surely hope you all did as well! With that, it is time to announce the next event to hit the halls of Luxe Academy- Our First Annual Pet Adoption Fair! For the next week, we will be hosting a Pet Adoption Fair in the Gymnasium. Students are welcome to come by once, twice, or as many times as they’d like to have a look at, meet, and choose a furry, fuzzy, scaled, or feathered friend to take back to their suites! Now, with this event comes a few ground rules, which will be covered below, along with a list of available pets up for adoption! Remember, we are working with a variety of local shelters and rescue groups to coordinate this event, so please be kind and if you feel so inclined, please donate to the groups present.
RULES
1.) Each student is able to adopt up to two pets at this time. However, we do request that before adopting, everyone ensures they are aware and conscious of the care, time, and effort being a pet owner takes. These are living beings which require a lot of care, so please do not get caught up in how adorable they are and take on more than you are able to commit to. 2.) Please be conscious of your roommates and others who share your living space. Ensure that they are alright with your choice to adopt pets, and work out the ground rules for your living spaces with your new companions. 3.) To compensate for our new friends on campus, we have hired a full-time Veterinarian to have an office on campus. Should you find that your companion is exhibiting symptoms of illness, you are required to reach out to our staff Veterinarian to schedule an appointment. All services and medication will be covered by Luxe. 4.) In addition to the above, remember that your companions will require annual checks and yearly care, even without the presence of illness. Please keep up with when their vaccinations are due, and remember to schedule those appointments in advance.
AVAILABLE PETS FOR ADOTION
-Dogs (all ages, breeds, and sizes) -Cats (all ages, breeds, and sizes) -Birds (all ages, breeds, and sizes) -Rabbits (all ages, breeds, and sizes) -Guinea Pigs -Hamsters -Gerbils -Rats -Chinchillas -Ferrets -Snakes -Geckos -Turtles -Iguanas -Blue Tongued Skinks -Fish (fresh and salt water)
OOC: This event began this morning. Students will have access to the event daily from 12:00 noon - 7:00 PM. Students are not required to adopt but are welcome to do so! Anyone who visits the Fair as well as anyone who adopts will earn points from this event! Remember, to earn points all you need to do is mention your attendance in a thread, or make a social media post. Please tag all relevant posts with luxe.event005.

Under the cut, I will be providing further details of the events occurring today and tomorrow on campus! Make sure you read each description thoroughly, to get the most out of the event as possible! As always, anyone with questions is free to reach out at any time!
Now, I am certain you are by now all aware of the incident that took place two weeks ago during our Haunted House production. Though I have thus far remained silent on the topic, I would like briefly discuss what has occurred, as well as touch on several points everyone should understand moving forward. To our Luxe Family Members attending our great institution via the Scholarship Program, I would like to extend my deepest and sincerest apologies for the events and actions taken against you. Please know that neither myself nor the Luxe Academy faculty and staff share any such belief systems, and I can personally assure you that shenanigans such as those that took place will not be tolerated. Luxe Academy prides itself on integrity, inclusivity, and a place to call your home-away-from-home, and you have my word that I will do whatever is necessary to continue to cultivate and promote that culture. At this time, I would also like to extend my thanks to our Campus Leadership Team, our elected members of the Student Government. Each and every one of you truly stepped into your roles that night, taking control of the situation on-campus and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of each and every one of your classmates. Please know that your efforts have not gone unnoticed. That being said, I wish to assure each and every student housed on Luxe Academy’s campus that our world-class Security Team, our faculty, our staff, and myself, are working diligently to ensure something like this never has the opportunity to occur again. As soon as we have solidified the new safety measures we will be implementing, I will make an announcement notifying each of you of the changes. Until then, stay alert, stay active, and most importantly, stay safe.
OOC: Read below the cut to find further information regarding this weekend’s Halloween Activities! Remember that participation is not required, but is highly encouraged to assist your character with earning points, as well as to generate new and exciting plots to get and keep the dash moving!
