There’s a reason Zemo’d chosen this event. Lutz might not technically be the focus here, but Zemo can see the way the crowd orbits him. He fits himself into the movement easily, steadily working closer to Lutz. “Zemo,” Lutz says with raised eyebrows. “I can’t say I expected to see you here.” They’d all known he was here. The entire country knows he’s here. Lutz thinks he knows why Zemo is here. Zemo fakes a smile. “I find it beneficial to reach out to other groups,” Zemo says. “Alternative viewpoints can only help our country, surely.” Lutz makes a noncommittal noise. His attention is entirely on Zemo, unlike how it’d been split the rest of the night. Zemo smiles a little more genuinely.
