Loki didn’t remember much of his life before he became a monster. He did remember the day he was walking home from somewhere and being attacked from the shadows. He remembered the burning fire coursing through his veins, waking up in an alley with a thirst for blood. His first victim was a woman. He could still remember her scream. Now, Loki stalked the same part of the city that he himself had become pray in.  

Tonight, Loki was watching a young man who was walking through his alley. Blond, short, young. The perfect victim. He treaded silently behind his prey, waiting until they were far enough in the alley before he shoved him into the nearby brick wall. The monster’s pearl white fangs flashed in the dim light as they found their mark in the young man’s neck. His hot blood seeped from the cuts and into Loki’s awaiting mouth, drinking greedily, mind lost to the feeding frenzy.

Eventually, the victim pasted out and Loki finished his drink without having to hold down his game. He let go of the mortal’s warm skin, licking the copper tasting blood from his cold lips. He looked down at the other creature, ruby eyes taking in his form. A wicked thought came to his cruel mind. It’d been quite a few years (perhaps a hundred?) since he’d had any fun with a human. He was long overdue for a feeding slave

Peeta bit his lower lip to keep from smirking and began to unbutton his shirt, tossing it aside once it was off and unzipping his pants, pushing them down a moment later. He slowly slid his tight black underwear down his hips and plump, smooth thighs before kicking them aside and sitting in Nathan’s lap obediently.

Nathan wrapped his arms around Peeta's waist, pulling the naked boy closer to him. "What do you want Master to do to you today, pet?" He asked, reaching down to start stroking the other male's inner thigh knowing full well that he was going dangerously close towards the male's cock, but never actually touching it.

The Baker's Daughter

Five weeks since he had been banished from Asgard. Why had Thor's banishment only been a few days? Loki sighed as he woke up, knowing he would have to fake a day of mortality. He made his way to downtown after changing into more suitable clothes for his job at the small bookstore. Loki unlocked the store, flipped the sign so it said 'Open,' then sat down behind the counter. "Good morning," he said out of habit to the young woman who walked into the store. Her blonde hair and blue eyes were strange in the town he had made his home in the past month.

In more ways than some realize, life is a game of long odds. And the survivors are gamblers who can play to them, no matter how cruel the rules are. Loki Laufeyson is a survivor, not only of starvation in a contrary that neglects its citizens, but of the most brutal game any human being could play. The Hunger Games.

The first victory for him was that Loki was born into a family of victors. His father and mother had both won the games and now lived comfortably in District 1. Odin had worked his way up to being the mayor of the district, while Frigga had started a hospital. They already had a son of their own, Thor, but one day while walking home Frigga found Loki by the side of the road, only a year old and dying of malnutrition. Her pity is what saved him from death’s first attempted to claim him.

When he was sixteen, Loki’s name had been drawn from the reaping’s, and he’d been thrown into a world that he needed both his body and mind to be at their sharpest. In a desert area, Loki had been forced to battle other young men and women (some barely even that) to the death. Each encounter, Loki could feel death’s hand clawing at him, and each time he managed to slip through its fingers.

But at the end, Loki started to loose himself in his own survival instincts, turning almost mad with something one could only call blood lust. When he won by cutting his opponent’s throat with his own fingernails, many gave up on him, saying his sanity had bled out in the area. Though his mother never gave up on him.

It took almost three years for his mind to return to something close to what it had been before, though Loki would never be the same. He still woke up screaming from the heat of the sun, parched and sweating like when he was in the Games. He still would have panic attacks that weakened him for an entire day, but he pulled through. That was his second victory.

Now, Loki was a doctor, like his mother but in his own way. He helped out at her hospital from time to time, but what he specialized in was helping other victors recover from the trauma of the sick form of entertainment the Capital put them through. It helped him keep busy and away from alcohol like his friend Haymitch, and the fact that he was aiding others was a plus.

This year, he’d watched the names drawn and the shocked or stupidly excited faces get shipped off to the Capital like sheep for the slater. One face stood out among the rest however, the boy from District 12. He used his obviously clever mind to win the crowds with his natural charm and likable personality. He stood out, Loki realized, because he was intelligent enough to figure out how to play the game outside of the area.

In the area however, it pained Loki to watch this tribute be traumatized like so many others. He made it though, and it brought a smile to Loki’s features watching Haymitch become dumbfounded that one of his tributes actually made it. How much of him made it though was yet to be determined.

Loki was making his way through the hallways of the Capital’s medical building on his way to the tribute’s - Peeta’s- room. When he reached the door, he wasn’t quite sure what to expect. He didn’t know much about who he was, or even much about the condition he was currently in thanks to the staff who had nothing but air in their heads.

He’s a survivor, Loki though dryly before opening the door and stepping into the softly lit room, green eyes turning to his patient lying on the bed.

"Finnick put me down right now!" Peeta yelled with a strong frown appearing on his face, he folded his arms and glared in front of him as the other male had hoisted him over his shoulder and was now carrying him away from the street.

Loki is very hard to love, as he finds it difficult to believe that anyone would be so stupid as to actually fall for somebody like him. He suppresses his own romantic feelings, as well, and refuses to admit attraction to many people in a way deeper than sexual attraction.
