really truly adore this scent. i bought it while still living in [REDACTED] and it stayed hot for so long i could barely wear it until my last month or so there. but now that im back in chicago i feel like i can really truly appreciate it. it opens up very spicy which i love. its opening initially reminded me of 1969 by histories de parfums which has to be because of the cardamom note. but i'd say it dries down into something warmer, still a little dpicy but its woodier and more balsamic than 1969. it's a more complex vanilla than what i'm used to which i enjoyed. ppl often think of "white sweater" or "cashmere sweater" perfumes and i'd say this is a thick black oversized sweater worn over a velvet mini skirt and black tights. its more fall than winter, and it evokes imagery of someones wild redheaded sister in a fall movie like ginger fitzgerald or gillian owens.
