other general information:

the BloodMoon twins, when recreated by Ruin, were separated; however they’re unable to be a certain ways away from each other

Solar is still brought back in this AU - it doesn’t take long until things start happening again

the virus can be spread; this AU works as an infection AU in a way - the virus needs direct contact to infect someone

— The virus in this AU differs from the one in canon. In this AU, the virus acts more as a hivemind connected to all the animatronics infected, with one animatronic (or individual, such as Ruin’s Creator in his old dimension) being the “origin” or one who controls the others.

— In Ruin’s home dimension, it’s harder for him to blend in with the others. He needs to be aware of anything and everything. He needs to lay low… not get caught. He made sure he was with or around another animatronic at all times, in which he knew when to act as if he were controlled. It took a little bit to get the hang of it, however he was able to act pretty well.

— Ruin does NOT end up working for Nexus and Dark Sun in this AU, but the two characters are still relevant eventually. (Solar still dies since I need Nexus)

— Known to be infected throughout the story: Ruin (host/the one who infected the other 2), Eclipse, and ONE of the BloodMoon twins (including another “individual” who will be mentioned later) (others infected will be determined at a later time)

— When infected, those who originally had control of their own body are trapped in their own head as long as the hivemind has control over them.

— The hivemind is alive.

— Various posts explaining other fun stuff will be posted eventually and/or when i make drawings for stuff :3

2/14/25 Writing Challenge Poem: Annoy/Holiday

Defiance comes at a cost I pay happily, If it means my intrepid comrades remain annoyed, I accept it. Because I do not live my life in falsehoods, even as I craft reality, Surely I’ll return to reprimands and a scolding if not a full on fit. The sweetness of your smile and crumbs of mooncake on your lips, Lighting lanterns for our lost mothers making strangers into Family, Guiding a Dancing Dream through dark barrows into my hand his slips, Commandeering gondolas and making love beneath a starlit tapestry, Every moment I manage to steal, to draw out with my Prince is worth any price. This elaborate ruse of our affair being anything but right is grating, But festivals like these remind us of what makes it worth the sacrifice. That in time we will not be confined to secrecy and enjoy this celebrating. Every holiday festival is brighter, when wrapped within your arms, And every dream feels closer when you promise me you’re mine, In your love I lose myself, not blinded by the surface level charms, One day I will make this world ours as one, like when our souls entwine.
