19. Describe an average day in your life.

it's the "have fun" that sent me LMFAO (as though sayuri isn't behind the camera taking super dramatic shots of the studio exploding behind lulu)

Little bit of writing under the cut:

"Yeah, perfect, now hold up the bottle-- ah! It's like you read my mind."

"Stand a little more to the left."

"Here?"

"I think we're past the point of reading each other's minds, Sayuri. You practically live there rent-free."

"Aww--"

"As in you raid the kitchen for Twinkies, leave all the wrappers on the floor, and don't buy more when you eat them all."

Your eyes dart back and forth between the two as they bicker. You're not sure whether to laugh or take a few cautious steps back as you take notes on your encounter with your subjects.

Sayuri deadpans, "You're just describing what you did last weekend. In real life."

Lulu smugly grins. "And you still love me anyway."

"Unfortunately." Sayuri raises the camera to her eye-level again, repositioning the shot to where she wants it.

"Sorry-- to answer your question," Lulu continues, gesturing with the (rather dramatically large) vodka bottle in her hand, "My typical day looks like shooting mini documentaries about and capturing the lives of average, everyday people you may come across on the street. We try to capture the beauty of the mundane. The ups, the downs, life, death, romance, trauma. Y'know, normal people stuff."

You can tell she's being totally facetious. She and Sayuri may be good actresses, but you don't believe the serious looks on their faces one bit.

"Anyway, that's what we're doing here today. We have people in the studio right now who graciously allow us to record every moment of their li--"

"Wait! Lulu!" Sayuri gestures for her girlfriend to quiet down, hushing her as though to say the time is now!!

But what's it time for? You wonder to yourse--

You hear a scream, something that sounds faintly like someone yelling, "Wait, Ixak, NO!!"

The studio explodes into flames behind Lulu as she chugs straight from the bottle of vodka. Sayuri grins madly as the flash on her camera flickers a few times.

You were right to take some precautionary steps back. Allowed you the opportunity to bolt out of there as fast as you possibly could have.

and they are from the beautiful wacky world lia and i have been building upon since we were in middle school. our friendship bracelet, so to speak. none of it makes any sense whatsoever and yet it makes all of the sense in the world to us. and i wouldnt have it any other way :')
