Yandere Star Wars someone hurting their so?
S/O going to be on their full protection yeyeye
Stand back
Yandere!Star wars x reader
summary: You’re getting an injury and you need to retreat, what will they do?
warning: typos, bad grammar
attention! please do not try to repost my works, I only post my works on Tumblr, if anyone see someone stole my works please inform me through the comments, tag me in the works, or message me!
.
.
Anakin Skywalker
I’m pretty much sure he’ll fight faster and get you hidden as fast as possible
He’ll make sure to put you in a comfortable position if he needs to continue fighting the droid so he can open a way for both of you to get out
If you’re able to look at Anakin’s behavior while fighting, you could see his moves and his face is filled with rage, but you’re getting hut, you only focused to stay alive and relying yourself on him
let’s just say, he can’t control his anger the second he finds you getting shot by the droids
so why doesn’t he destroy them all?
with that much power pushed by anger and revenge for you, it’s easy to take care of such a mere droid.
he could never forgive those who hurt you.
but his mood changes when he approaches you and looks at you, he doesn’t want to scare you.
“You okay? alright keep your eyes open, we’re not far from the ship”
if you can’t walk, he’ll carry you in piggyback ride position or bridal style depending on the location of your injuries.
while resting on the medbay or on the ship, he’ll comfort you 24/7
“hold on dear, just hold on, look at me, don’t worry”
“you’re the one worrying so much Anakin”
“Well because if you do, I don’t know what should I do next”
.
.
Obi-wan Kenobi
this man is caring
retreat as soon as possible together so he could give you first treatment, then if he could avoid fighting, he’ll try to avoid it, but if he can’t he’ll guide you getting out and taking care of the rest
he wants you to avoid the battlefield as fast as possible
so you could get treatment faster.
well he doesn’t do revenge
correction- not now
I mean if it’s droid then maybe he’ll let it pass
but someone recognizable? mhm mhm
yeah he will remember their face forever, until they’re dead, at least.
the next time he meets the one who hurt you the last time, he’ll make sure they’re dead.
like dead. he needs to see them dead in front of his eyes
but when it’s the time you get your treatment he’ll be on your side all of the time until you feel better
but you both don’t make physical contact, to avoid people knowing about your relationship.
“You’re okay, you’re going to be okay, it’s fine, hang on”
he’ll feel bad because he can’t hold your hand to calm you down, but you both want to avoid the risk, so you’re fine with that
it’s just him that feels bad
so when you’re able to get out from the medbay, and in a private time, he’ll hold you and make sure he doesn’t touch your injuries at all to make you feel comfortable.
it’s not you who asked to be cuddled and hold, it’s him that needs reassurement that you’re fine, that you’re now able to be in his arms, honestly he does it without him even realizing, he does that to make himself feel better.
because I’m sure he’s scared inside, it’s just his face and feeling don’t match each other lmao
the next time you go on a mission, he’ll question whether you really need to go to the mission, even though you’re with him.
but when you said yes, he’ll let you go, but told you to inform him before and after you start your mission.
next time something like that happened again, guess he needs to start using the strict way instead, just to keep you safe.
.
.
Luke Skywalker
he’ll panic inside and outside the moment you get injured
“OH SHIT Y/N RETREAT RETREAT”
Honestly he made the situation get worse
Han would scold him later like “DON’T PANIC IN FRONT OF THE ENEMY, IT’LL HELP THEM KILL YOU”
“BUT Y/N GET SHOT”
“IT’S NOT LIKE THERE ARE NO OTHER PEOPLE TO HELP THEM, THERE’S ME, LEIA, AND THEMSELF TO HELP THEMSELF.”
“da kark stop screaming or I’ll shove your mouth with this lightsaber like you sucking di-”
retreat as fast as possible
at one point he’s confused about whether to retreat or fight until the end, blame the pressure around him ngl
okay maybe this one fits for ANH Luke
but I’ll give you the ROTJ Luke that suits Yandere Luke...
I mean he’s still panicking, but he knows what to do
place you somewhere safe, place a kiss on your forehead before he’s back to the battlefield to open a way or maybe... fulfilling his revenge that he doesn’t even realize it’s a revenge
he’s stupid I know
sometimes he’s ignoring the whole karking Jedi code without him even realizing
has I told you guys he’s stupid?
but not really that kind of stupid, I must say.
but he’s a sweet, gentlemen, perfect man so I forgive him.
“Stay here alright? I’ll meet you again soon, in a blink of your eye”
cheesy of him but he kept his words
he fasts af bro
you blink the second time, he already carrying you, holding you tightly, placing another kiss on your forehead the second time to calm you down
honestly he’s calming himself by kissing you
very much like Obi-wan
like padawan like the master.
when you get your treatment, he holds your hand most of the time, making sure to you that you’ll be fine
once again he’s just couraging himself that you will be fine, just to calm himself down.
.
.
Din Djarin (my first time writing him I’m sorry)
this man was confused about which one to do first
treat you or vanishing the enemies
sometimes he picks it randomly
okay maybe based on your injuries
but for your information, he’ll make you retreat even though you only got a scratch
because his theory would be like: you get hurt - stay fighting will make you lose focus because of the injury -> get hurt even more -> dies -> he’ll be alone.
well.
what can I say?
just because he seems calm every time on his job or needs to fight doesn’t mean he’s not panicking.
but behind that tin helmet and his face, I’m 100% sure that he’s super panicking like it’s the end of the world
but you’re his world though...
his feelings and face don’t match him like Obi-wan
he doesn’t care anything at the moment but you
so when they’re able to be back, he’ll immediately grab bacta spray and other supplies
told you to rest
no, don’t even think to get up from where you are
if you need anything just ask him
just don’t. get. up.
“Sleep, you’ll need that for tomorrow”
he’ll hold you in the middle of the night for a moment
he felt grateful you’re still here with him
and the morning, he’ll not wake you up until you wake up by yourself
he also prepares medical supplies in case there might be some other injuries that you don’t even realize yesterday.
he prepares breakfast too
force you to eat them all
he even shares his portion
caring guy <3
will not let you go on a mission or hunting for the next 2-3 weeks.
.
.
Fennec Shand (Not as bad as Din ones cause I got a friend with an exact personality like her)
this woman will shoot everyone in her sight and then calm you down
“stay here, I’ll be right back.”
at first she only wants to open a way so you both could retreat, but she just can’t control herself being mad at the enemy, I mean not just the one that hurt you, but every single one of it.
yes, everyone.
no mercy for yandere Fennec
but sometimes she realizes that she still has you to take care so she’ll end up just opening that way for you
when she helps you walk away from the battlefield, I could feel like she’s shooting one of the dead corpses, just in case
even though they’re truly dead, she still hasn’t satisfied yet.
if her enemy seeks revenge...
don’t worry, she already prepared herself
because she seeks revenge as well lmao
this time she has no mercy
yeah she never got any mercy for the enemy before
the difference is she got more brutal and violent
and everyone dead
happy ending
but when she comes back, she’ll be by your side throughout the recovery
sweet Fennec exists for her darling only
yey

Suicidal Misunderstanding AU Part V (SW Time Travel AU #27)
Part I - - - - - Part II - - - - - Part III - - - - - Part IV
After a meandering walk through what felt like every path the hanging gardens and marsh pools had to offer, Obi-Wan stopped to lean against a stone wall.
“Obi-Wan? Are you ready to stop and eat something? As nice as this has been, I’m getting hungry and I’m guessing you are too.”
Anakin was only being a little sarcastic. It had genuinely been nice to peacefully spend the day with Obi-Wan like this- they hadn’t been to the marsh habitats since the war started. He had resigned himself to watching Obi-Wan enthusiastically greet every wandering knight, master, and elder who they passed.
It was actually starting to become impressive- Anakin never realized how many members of the Order his Master was friendly with- no wonder he was given a seat on the high council! But after the last heartfelt clasping of hands with a completely unfamiliar Bothan (thankfully for Anakin’s petty jealousy, Obi-Wan wasn’t hugging everyone), Anakin had asked who the knight was.
Obi Wan frowned. “No idea. But I suppose I must have seen him somewhere.”
Anakin was no longer feeling impressed.
When a group of crechelings wandered by, Obi-Wan appeared briefly overwhelmed with emotion. His shields (apparently even better drunken than sober) didn’t let anything specific slip. But he knew Obi-Wan was feeling something intensely. Bizarrely, instead of saying hello, Obi-Wan hurried out and away with Anakin dragged behind, bringing them back to the stone wall and their skipped breakfast.
“Not yet.” Obi-Wan responded hoarsely. “I want to visit the Room of A Thousand Fountains first, and say a few more goodbyes.”
“Goodbyes?” Anakin asked, a slight chill running down his back. “We’re not shipping back out until the end of the week. Do you always say goodbye to everyone this thoroughly before redeployment?”
“No. Do you think I should have?” Obi-Wan frowned. “I feel like that would have been more upsetting than anything else.”
“Ok then, why are you saying goodbye now? To the whole order?”
Obi-Wan didn’t reply, he just pushed off the wall to continue on his quest to apparently visit every corner of the temple.
“Master, please, you’re worrying me. If you won’t eat, then let me take you to the Healing Halls so they can check you over for drugs. We can visit the fountains after.”
Obi-Wan finally paused, thinking that over. “I would like to see Bant. She should be there, right?”
Bant did end up being there, and was more touched than disturbed by Obi-Wan’s sincere joy to see her. While Obi-Wan wandered the halls greeting injured Knights, she ran several tests.
“As far as I can tell, all you had last night was human-appropriate alcohol. No force-user specific drug interactions, and no traces of Spice. It’s possible there’s something I missed, but your force presence doesn’t feel off balance in the manner I specifically associate with drug-induced altered perception. Your blood sugar is a little low and you’re somewhat dehydrated, especially considering you’re in the temple, not out on a mission.”
“I’ll take care of my physical needs after I visit the Room of a Thousand Fountains. Just because a vision isn’t purely induced by the force doesn’t mean I can’t draw meaning from it. I do appreciate how you always looked out for me though, Bant. I’ve missed your fussing.” Obi-Wan smiled, clasping one of her hands in his.
Bant sighed, “If Master Yoda wasn’t off world I’d urge you to talk to him. I haven’t seen you this shaken by a vision since we were younglings. Even if you do seem to be handling it fairly... calmly.”
Obi-Wan laughed. “I’ll tell him you said that someday. I might be wrong, but I think he’ll be happy to learn about-” Obi-Wan gestured around vaguely, “all this. I’ll talk to him at some point. I’m sure of it.”
She glanced over at Anakin, who had been a quietly looming shadow the whole visit. He seemed both relieved by the diagnosis as well as bewildered. “Can I speak to you privately?”
Obi-Wan nodded and Anakin stalked out of the test room.
She scrutinized him, worry more obvious now, “Don’t think I haven’t noticed you slipping tenses this whole time. You’re still not sure where your vision ends and reality begins, are you? Do you even know when you are?”
Obi-Wan looked down. “I know what’s real and what’s not. I’m just...enjoying not fully living in the moment. I have every intention of waking up.”
“Yeah, that’s a BIG red flag, Obi-Wan. Force.” She tilted her head back and forth, examining him with obvious concern. “I am scheduling an appointment for a soul healer and you are going to go, understand?” She demanded.
Obi-Wan agreed far too easily. She reluctantly let him leave with an earnest promise to eat something real.
Obi-Wan came outside to find Anakin pacing.
“I’m glad you’re still here,” he told his former Padawan, ignoring the ache in his chest.
“Of course Ori’vod,” Anakin said, ducking his head with a shy smile. “What did Bant say?”
“She wants me to eat something real and visit a soul healer.” Obi-Wan sighed. “Well, I can do at least one of those things.”
“A soul healer! She thinks you’re crazy?” Anakin asked offended.
“First of all, you don’t have to be unstable to visit a soul healer. I’ve seen them in the past, when there wasn’t as much wrong with me. I’m sorry if I led you to believe you couldn’t seek out help for your problems.” Obi-Wan said. Another mistake.
“I-I know that. I just thought, you know, Jedi can be judgmental of that sort of thing. A good Jedi is supposed to be able to just, meditate stuff away.” Anakin said bitterly.
Obi-Wan thought furiously. Was this why he had been so blindsided by Anakin’s fall? Had his padawan been so afraid of judgement that he hid all of the warning sides of his struggles with darkness? Maybe he could ask Owen for some sort of petty assistance when he brought over bantha milk next time, to demonstrate to young Luke that it was ok to ask for help. No, he was probably still too young for those sorts of lessons to have much meaning. The insight would require meditation, when he was more sober.
Unsure how ‘Anakin’ would respond, Obi-Wan tentatively said, “You’re right, that some Jedi might judge for seeking such aid. But I think in the last years of the war, that sort of opinion became less and less common. After all, an ideal Jedi shouldn’t be leading an army. I don’t know if anyone can be perfect during war, let alone a peacekeeper.”
When that failed to garner positive or negative reply, Obi-Wan let out a breath. “It hardly matters, since I can’t exactly visit a therapist, let alone a soul healer, given my present living conditions.”
Anakin seemed to process that, giving Obi-Wan a long, searching look. “What’s your next point?”
“Hmm?”
“You said first of all, and I think that was all one thing, so what’s your second point?”
“Not exactly being able to visit a soul healer regularly doesn’t count as a separate retort?”
“I guess? I’m just trying to understand what you’re trying to tell me” A twinge of frustration crept into Anakin’s otherwise level tone.
"I appreciate that, truly, and I regret the number of hurtful miscommunications that sprung up from me failing to do just that. Well, I suppose, by most reasonable standards, I am ‘crazy.’ Getting some help with unraveling my mind would probably be best, if it were an option, but it isn’t so...” Obi-Wan shrugged.
Before any followup questions could be asked, they finally arrived at the main entrance to the Room of a Thousand Fountains. The archway was stunning, water flowing upwards along the stone in intricate, shifting tessellations. When they stepped through, Obi-Wan was delighted to see Mace Windu sitting on a bench by the entrance.
“Mace! I was hoping to see you.”
Mace looked at him. He seemed at first, to be utterly unsurprised by the duo’s arrival. But the longer he stared, the more visible shock overtook his features. “Master Koon recommended I look for you...force what happened.”
Obi-Wan just chuckled. “Oh you know. What didn’t happen.”
“What’s wrong?” Anakin asked urgently. “What do you see, Master Windu?”
Obi-Wan tried to wave them both off, laugh a little more forced. “Please, I came here to relax. I’m sure it would be easier to say what’s not wrong with-”
“Kark it, Obi-Wan this isn’t a joking matter.” Master Windu’s voice was calm, but insistent. He slowly started approaching Obi-Wan as though the fellow council member were a feral loth-cat.
“You look as if...nearly every shatter point around you has broken open. Force, I think you’ve been carrying some of these with you since you were a child. Usually when things that deep break...And some of these- some of these are too big to have just affected you.” Mace hesitantly reached forward, brushing against something invisible.
A chill ran down Anakin’s spine, again. What the kriff did Obi-Wan see in his vision? Last night he mentioned the temple burning, their rooms turned to ash, and Anakin had just...let that go in favor of greedily spending time with this addictively affectionate version of Obi-Wan.
“Mace...” Obi-Wan groaned. “I had been wondering what you might say to me but this is...please, can’t you just give me a hug and let me enjoy the peace for one more hour.”
“Master Kenobi,” Mace said, seeming to revert to an even more serious version of himself. “What I see cracked open around you is bigger than the reemergence of the Sith on Naboo, bigger than the first battle of Genosis. Whatever has happened, you cannot possibly keep it to yourself, practically or morally.”
To the shock of both Windu and Skywalker, Obi-Wan actually rolled his eyes at that. “Mace. You are not telling me anything I do not already know. And I am choosing to spend a little longer enjoying the unique joys of the Temple before dealing with the harshness of reality. Haven’t I earned a small break? I’m not abandoning my duty, but if I don’t take care of myself where I can I’ll go madder than I already have.”
At no point did Obi-Wan’s voice get whiny or upset, he just calmly dropped a series of bombshells like he was repeating an argument.
Mace and Anakin exchanged glances, but if Mace was trying to communicate something, it was utterly lost on Anakin.
“Alright, Master Kenobi. I trust your judgement.”
And, to Anakin’s shock, Mace pulled Obi-Wan for a tight hug. “And I care about you, Obi-Wan.”
For a brief, hysterical moment, Anakin Skywalker wondered if he was about to witness his Master break down crying on the shoulder of Mace Windu the Master of the Jedi Order.
But Obi-Wan just let out a slow breath and returned the embrace before bowing deeply in Respect. Windu returned the bow with a placid expression.
“If you’ll excuse me...I think I’d like to stand by the waterfall alone for a moment.” He paused, turning to address Anakin. “If you’re willing to wait for me, I’ll happily rejoin you by the glowing mushrooms.” Anakin nodded silently and Obi-Wan beamed before leaving the two alone together.
Mace turned to the young knight in a silent demand for answers, and, for once, Anakin was eager to share what he was dealing with. “He came back drunk last night, talking about the temple burning down, and being well-”
“Unusually emotionally expressive?” Mace offered.
Anakin nodded. “Took a blood sample to analyze in the morning. He woke determined to hug every sentient being in the temple. I actually managed to get him to the halls just before we came here; Master Eerin said there was nothing in his system and...I just don’t know. He’s been off today, but not in a bad way, exactly. Could a vision have caused the shattering you saw?
Mace furrowed his brow. “Not any vision like I’ve ever seen but...these are dark times. And Master Kenobi has had historically bad luck. If some new cataclysm is coming for us- I absolutely believe he’d be the first of us to stumble into it. Something terrible and extraordinary must have happened in the 24 hours since I last saw him in person.”
A beat passed.
“I should go to the mushrooms before I lose track of him,” Anakin said quietly.
Mace nodded. “Skywalker, if you need assistance dragging him back to the healers for whatever reason, comm me, understood?”
“Understood. Master Koon said the same.” the Knight replied, heart pounding.
The Windu clasped him on the shoulder firmly, "I’m going to check in with Master Eerin. It’s possible she has some suspicions that my observations will help her confirm. Until then...”
“I’ll look out for him.” Anakin promised.

Facing Facts: The Daughter
Leia still doesn’t trust him.
He doesn’t blame her, of course. He’s getting used to people not trusting him, and understands why.
“I have a father already,” she says firmly every time he tries to spend time with her.
Anakin tries to spend time with his family as much as he can, and Leia is a part of it, as much as she distances herself from Anakin. But he still keeps his distance, as she prefers. He knows she’s not going to forgive him if he pushes it.
But family nights have become common, more often than not, in Ahsoka’s chambers, and that includes both Anakin and Leia.
Leia sits across from him, on the couch opposite, resting her head on Padme’s shoulder. Ahsoka and Luke sit either side of Anakin, and Obi-Wan sits next to Luke.
“Oh Skyguy, did I ever tell you about the mission to Tatooine?” Ahsoka asks, eyes bright and full of laughter.
He shakes his head and Ahsoka laughs. “So, we’d gotten intel that there was a rumour of a force-sensitive kid on Tatooine, and Karee suggested I go and make sure Luke isn’t causing any trouble. So I rock up to the sandy poodoo-hole- Hey!” Ahsoka shrieks with laughter as Luke reaches over and playfully punches Ahsoka. “It’s a poodoo-hole. You know it is!”
“Anyway, what should I find but Luke, starting to throw rocks with the force.” Ahsoka glances over at Luke, who looks confused. “You were just a little kid at the time, which is why you don't remember it. But the last thing we need is a Skywalker getting the attention of the Empire, so I march down to Obi-Wan’s house, and force, his face when I told him what was going on!”
“In my defence, Ahsoka, it was also my way of finding out you were still alive,” Obi-Wan points out.
Ahsoka looks sheepish. “Ah yes, I forgot about that part.”
Padme laughs. “What about the mission to Alderaan where some imperial assumed you were a servant and I had to talk you out of ripping him to pieces?”
Leia looks shocked at this. “Non-Human prejudice has never been permitted on Alderaan!” She exclaims.
“It was in the Empire,” Luke remarks, and Anakin feels Leia’s eyes boring into him.
“Yes,” she says, “but the Empire were sleemos.”
“Leia,” Ahsoka murmurs, sounding almost exhausted.
“What?” Leia says innocently. “They were.”
There is an awkward silence then, and Anakin feels inclined to fill it. It’s his fault, after all.
“Alderaan was a very beautiful planet,” he states.
“It still is, though the Empire tried to see that it wasn’t,'' Leia retorts.
“Wait, still is?” To Anakin’s knowledge, Alderaan was destroyed by the Death Star.
Padme raises an eyebrow. “You really think the Sisters couldn’t have put back together a planet if they tried hard enough?”
“Oh. That’s great.” Anakin supposes that sounds just about right.
Leia gets up and storms out.
“Leia!” Padme gets up and follows her.
Ahsoka sighs and buries her head on Anakin’s shoulder. He can tell she’s getting a bit sick of all this, so he strokes her montrals gently. Luke just looks at the door where Leia left.
Anakin overhears Luke and Leia arguing one day, about him.
“He’s changed Leia, don’t you see it?” Luke argues, his tone desperate.
“He would have killed you, Luke, would have killed me, like he killed millions of innocent people. One good deed doesn’t make up for that!” Leia retorts.
“Use the force, Leia, you can sense that he’s different now!” He hears Luke sigh.
“Don’t tell me of the force! I’ve been using the force since before you’d even heard of the Jedi! I have powers that you haven’t even scratched the surface of!” Leia shouts.
“He’s our father!” Luke insists.
“I have a father! I have a mother and a father and that man is not my father!” Leia declares, furious.
“He’s trying,” Luke says softly.
After a moment, Anakin hears Leia sigh. “I know, Luke, I know.”
The arrival of Breha and Bail Organa is a welcome visit.
“Mama! Papa!” Leia runs to her parents and embraces them. They look delighted to see her
Padme watches them, and Anakin can feel the sadness radiating off her. He feels that familiar twinge of guilt. He meets Ahsoka’s eyes and suggests through their bond that Padme is upset.
Ahsoka nods almost imperceptibly. I got her. She moves next to Padme, and lays a hand on her forearm, a bright, not-quite-false smile.
Bail Organa smiles widely. “Ahsoka, Padme, it’s good to see you.”
Ahsoka smiles. “Queen Breha, King Bail. I hope you’re well.”
Padme smiles tightly. “Bail. Breha.”
From what Anakin remembers, Padme and Senator Organa were good friends before the war. He supposes that the fact they got to raise Leia and Padme didn’t probably affected that.
He watches Ahsoka lean gently against Padme, whether for her mother’s benefit or her own, he isn't sure.
Then Bail Organa sees Anakin.
“What are you doing here?” He demands. “Why is he allowed to go free after the atrocities he committed? Why was he brought back at all?”
Ahsoka takes a protective step towards Anakin but Leia surprises them all when she grabs Bail’s wrist.
“It’s okay, Papa, he saved Luke’s life. He’s on our side now,” she says firmly.
Bail looks down at his daughter. “Are you sure?”
Leia nods. The pair stare at each other for a moment, Queen Breha in the background looking nervously at the group.
“General Skywalker has made great progress and has served alongside Sisters on missions.” Padme steps forward, intervening.
Bail stares at Anakin for a moment, then sighs. “I trust their word, Skywalker, but I do not trust you,” he says firmly.
“Of course,” Anakin replies, attempting to be respectful.
It would help if he couldn’t sense Ahsoka trying not to laugh behind him.
“The Queen would like to see you both alongside myself to discuss setting up the new Republic,” Padme says quickly, gesturing for Bail and Queen Breha to follow.
“What crazy idea has Karee cooked up this time?” Queen Breha jokes, following Padme.
Padme laughs, sincerely laughs. “Nothing we can’t handle, I’m sure.”
Bail stops by Leia, kissing her forehead. “I’ll see you later, my dear girl.”
Leia leans against him. “Of course.”
Anakin notes that Leia looks a little forlorn watching Bail Organa leave.
Under Queen Karee’s instructions, he tries to help teach Leia, as best as he can. Ahsoka and Queen Karee have seen to a lot of her training, but she’s clearly never used a lightsaber in an actual fight. The Queen trusts him to help her with that, now she knows he would do anything for his family.
So Anakin challenges Leia to a sparring match one afternoon, and she stumbles a lot. She clearly knows what to do in theory, but hasn’t had a lot of practise.
“Relax, keep your balance,” he instructs gently. Leia takes a deep breath, clearly trying to suppress her frustration at not being able to best him.
Anakin knows that feeling all too well. Leia inherited his temper where Luke did not (and Padme’s determination, which makes her formidable).
“Hey,” he says gently, “it’s okay. Duelling takes a lot of practise. I’ve had to use it in a fight, you couldn’t.”
Leia nods, taking a breath and going into a fighting stance. “Alright, again.”
He strikes and this time she parries quickly. Her strikes get better each time, but she gets confident.
He pushes a little too hard and she slips, and falls.
Leia shouts in frustration. “Kark it!”
“It’s alright Leia, it takes time. You’ll be great one day. Your sister is one of the finest teachers you could ask for. And-” he shrugs, “- I wouldn’t say I’m so bad myself.”
Leia laughs. “I’m certain Obi-Wan wiped the floor with you more than once.” She realises what she said and winces a little. “Sorry.”
Anakin smiles. “It’s fine.” He pulls himself into a battle stance. “Ready?”
She copies him. “Ready.”
Leia makes the first move this time, and he blocks less easily. Her strikes get harsher and harsher, her expression more angry.
Anakin can see where this is going. “Let your determination fuel you, but don’t let your anger blind you.”
Leia nods, taking a breath and striking again. Her strikes are more ordered this time, but it still reminds him of his own fighting before he turned. As Vader, his movements had to be stiffer, as the suit didn’t allow for much movement. Now he is starting to get that flexibility and spontaneity back.
He’s momentarily distracted by his thoughts and suddenly he finds himself upon the ground. Leia’s face lights up.
“Good. Remember, the force has your back,” he reminds her.
“And you?” Leia asks quietly.
“I have your back too, obviously. Always.” Anakin places a hand on her shoulder and Leia flinches violently.
“Thank you for the sparring session,” Leia says quickly, then leaves. He’s not sure what he did, until he recalls the day Alderaan exploded.
When Leia finally reconciles with him, it’s no great shouting match nor are tears shed.
One evening, she simply walks in, sits down and lays her head on Anakin’s shoulder. She pulls out her holopad and begins tapping quietly.
Anakin, only just concealing his surprise at this, tentatively puts an arm around her and she curls in a fraction more.
There is no talking, Anakin simply keeps watching the holovid on his own holopad and Leia focuses on what she is doing.
When Ahsoka comes in to say goodnight, as she often does, she smiles at the sight of them.
She leans down and gives them both a kiss on the forehead. “Goodnight Dad, goodnight Leia.”
Leia reaches up and squeezes her hand. “Goodnight, pera ita.”
“Night Snips,” Anakin stretches up and gives his eldest daughter a kiss on the forehead.
When he sits back down again, Leia returns to his side and they sit together, content.
Anakin gently runs his hand across her shoulder and he feels a wave of affection from his youngest daughter through the force.
Eventually, it gets quite late, and Anakin can feel Leia starting to fall asleep beside him. He chuckles softly at her obvious efforts at staying awake.
Leia looks up at him and a small, sleepy smile falls upon her face.
Slowly, she stretches up and yawns.
Leia rests her hand on his wrist and smiles sleepily. “Goodnight, Father.”
Anakin has the composure to keep his smile small. “Goodnight, Leia.” He squeezes her hand.
When she leaves, Anakin beams.

TDPL 500 kudos snippet: Shadow of Vader
As promised, here’s snippet.
Disclaimer: I haven’t… exactly… seen the Mortis arc. I know of it thanks to fic and wookiepedia. I know enough to know what happens to Anakin and that I HATE the implications of the Father, Son, and Daughter and the Chosen One Prophecy (I know I’ve mentioned how much I despise the introduction of this prophecy into the Star Wars mythos before. It’s unnecessary and messy and destroys more of the narrative than it adds).
But after writing about Anakin’s promise to Leia that he’d never become (like) their father, this begged to be written.
As of now this snippet is not canon to TDPL. There’s a lot of stuff that will happen before I get to this point, and Obi-Wan’s unique situation will have to be explored before I touch Mortis with a 29-and-a-half foot pole, and really it should probably not end up anything like the original to be honest and… now I’m rambling. Basically, if everything stays the same between Anakin’s promise to Leia and Mortis (but it won’t, of course it won’t) this is what might happen.
Warning: Angst ahead
“You liar!”
Obi-Wan looks stricken. A dawning horror breaking past his Jedi stoicism as he tries to grab Anakin’s attention back to himself.
Good.
Let Obi-Wan feel the failure for once. Let him fear for the safety of a loved one. Anakin simply grins at his frail old master. The barest threads of focus and will are all that are keeping the man together.
He can feel the Dark snapping at his heels, an acidic presence eager to obey his whims. The Force fully obedient to him. It begs to be allowed at the new plaything standing on the ridge of the hill. Pleads to destroy one of the annoying little lights that took Obi-Wan away from his side.
“That’s what Obi-Wan does, little one. That’s what all the Jedi do. They lie.” He smiles at little Leia Whitesun as she glares down at him. “They lie and they lie and they lie. They say they are compassionate and then judge you when your mother dies. They say they’ll help the galaxy but then frustrate the only one who really wants to save it. They tell you that you’re powerful but then hobble you with their stupid, arbitrary rules!”
Obi-Wan is attempting to stand again, so Anakin knocks him down with a sharp kick to the knee.
“Not him, you sand-gargling Hutt slime!” Leia shrieks. In a distant part of his mind, one drowning in the darkness, suffocating under the weight of the visions he’s been shown, he can’t help but see the echo of Padmé in the girl, in her powerful stance and the righteous fury in her eyes. Though Padmé would never scream insults at him. Not his Angel.
Because of that difference, the rest of him is annoyed.
“You’d do well to remember your place, padawan.”
The Dark begs to crush the life out of the child’s pale throat, to smother the spark out of the defiant eyes. Promises the power to save all he loves, to bind Obi-Wan to his side, mow down Padmé’s enemies, bring Snips back to life, if only he’ll sacrifice this one child.
He brings the Force to heel. He is the master here. He’ll decide who to sacrifice and who to spare. And it would be so much better if Obi-Wan chooses to stay with him of his own will. And the quickest way to a master is through their padawan. And oh, isn’t that anger perfect? All fuming and defiant.
The Force is thick on this planet and it responds to the strong emotions of its children. It kicks up a wind around her feet, pulling at the loose hairs falling from the intricate braids Ahsoka had put them in that morning.
Kark, was it only this morning?
“You are a Force-forsaken liar! You promised! You swore you wouldn’t be like him! You swore to me!”
Her ire perplexes him. Can’t she see he is going to save them all? He’ll end this war. And if either side refuses to see reason, he’ll make them. What promise could stand up to that?
“You said you’d never be like my father!” She hasn’t moved, so he has to come to her, stepping around Obi-Wan to do so. It’s a nice power play, and one he’ll allow to happen. Even with the incline he towers over the tiny padawan, barely a teenager.
So why does he feel like she’s brought him low?
Her father… she thought he was acting like the man who would torture his own daughter, harm his own son, and burn the galaxy behind him.
Instantly that pain turns to anger. “I am nothing like that,” he roars, bringing the full weight of his presence bearing down on her.
“No!” Obi-Wan cries from his place on the ground. Anakin doesn’t even look at him when he flings his pain and anger at the other man. But Leia stands strong, an unmoving column in the face of Anakin’s tremendous rage.
“You are exactly like him,” she grinds out.
No. This isn’t how things are supposed to go. Don’t they understand? He’s doing this, all this, for them! If the stubborn child would just listen-
His arm is up before he can register moving it, hand extended. Leia goes stiff as a board, her widened eyes the only sign of her fear. The Force roars in triumph and Anakin clenches his fist tighter.
“Anakin! Let. Her. Go.” It is all the warning he gets before Obi-Wan’s presence at his back… waivers. Bleeds at the edges then disappears completely. Just as suddenly, the connection between Anakin and his opponent is severed. Leia drops to the ground, rubbing her throat; winded but not too incapacitated to glare at him in disgust.
No… no. Obi-Wan’s not gone. He can’t find Obi-Wan’s presence because there are traces everywhere. Whispers of the man saturate the Force.
“Of course, you coward, you are not like my father at all,” the girl sneers past the raspiness in her voice. “You’d never attack someone weaker than you for having the audacity to disagree with you. What next? Will we be forced to adore you at blaster point? Take away our freedom to ensure our safety? Do your worst, Vader.”
That name, the name she calls him, spat out with the same vehemence with which she says “Father” cuts through him.
Suddenly he can’t breath. His ears are full of the sound that haunted his visions. The one that undercut the screams, the cries for help. That sound of mechanized breathing pervades his existence. It is echoing inside his head again, he can feel it rattle his bones, but this vision, this experience is somehow worse. There’s a pressure on his chest, and a weight on his limbs.
His lungs burn, his skin burns, the light burns but there is no relief. He wants to sob with the pain of it, but he can’t. The air cycles in and out steadily despite his wishes. He goes cold despite the unending fire. That monstrous noise… it’s him. It is his own lungs working. Not of his own volition, but at the whim of some machine.
His vision has gone strangely red, but he can see Leia scramble to escape him, escape from the monster he has become. For the first time since the Son gave him this gift, she is afraid of him. Not of what he can do, but of him. The type of fear that can drive out any care, any compassion, any love. The same fear he had worked so hard to overcome with her.
No, no, no! This isn’t what he wanted at all.
As he reaches for her, trying to calm her, to reassure her, he catches sight of his hands. Both of them are black clad. Both lack the fine sense of touch his flesh hand has. And he is bombarded with another round of visions. Sparring with Leia in the temple. Improving Artoo with Luke. Flying with Ahsoka. Breakfast with his little temple family at the Kenobi-Whitesun rooms. He wants to gasp, wants to sob, but he machine won’t let him and the visions won’t stop. They take a darker turn.
Leia in the temple hall, dressed in regal gowns and not Jedi robes, trembling behind the protective figure of Bail Organa, bowing her head before him, before his Master. Leia full grown, red tinted but dressed neck to toe in white, sneering at him from between two republic guards. Leia screaming at him as some horrific droid closes in on her. Leia snarling disdain despite a collected facade, glaring at him over the barrel of a blaster. Leia collapsing in grief as Han, their Han, is lowered into carbonite.
Then it is Luke he sees. Luke in Tatooian garb, screaming at him with the echo of a snapped bond pulsing through the Force. Luke flooding his senses with grief at the loss of Obi-No- The thought barely starts before he sees Luke standing opposite him in an orange pilot’s suit, Artoo behind him, blaster pointed at Anakin’s heart. Luke wielding a tantalizingly familiar blue 'saber as they clash in the underbelly of a station and Anakin’s… Anakin’s is red. Luke crying in pain as the red saber is flicked like Dooku’s and the boy’s hand is gone. Luke looking at him in denial, in rage, in disgust as he rejects the hand being offered. Disgust mirroring the look on his twin’s face. Then Luke letting go, jumping to his death before accepting help from whatever Anakin has become.
And always the sound of his own breath.
The vision ends and he is still standing on the hill, hand still outstretched to Leia, who still looks at him with abject fear and loathing. He looks down at his black gloved hands, both covered now. He did this. And she rejects his comfort.
But Obi-Wan’s presence wraps around her like a protective shield, and his old master becomes visible to his eyes once more. Blade drawn, aimed down and away, he looks broken but there is a quiet strength, a compassion for the monster who attacked his padawan. And with a steadying breath, Obi-Wan reaches his free hand to his first student, a plea to allow him to help.
And Anakin wants to sob but can’t.

Obi-Wan and 15
What it takes to make Obi-Wan cry.
Obi-Wan doesn’t cry. Not in public. Not where people can see. Not where he can see either. He might cry in the shower when he can tell himself it’s just water, or in the rain, when he is absolutely certain he’s alone and a certain former Padawan isn’t going to barge into his quiet moment of grief.
Obi-Wan does not cry.
He doesn’t cry because he can’t.
There is no emotion. There is peace. There is no emotion. THERE. IS. PEACE.
Jedi are not attached to things and if you are not attached to things then you do not grieve their passing, their fall, their death.
So Obi-Wan Kenobi does not cry. He is not crying now.
He is not sobbing over the death of his man, so many innocent men brought to life only to catch a blaster and die cold and alone on a planet he’s already forgotten the name of because he’s been on so many.
He is not sobbing over the Jedi, murdered before their time, by the same men they trusted with their backs, with their lives and the lives of their next generation, their Padawans.
He is not sobbing over Padme, cold and broken on the warm duracrete of a hell planet. He is not weeping over the fact that Luke and Leia will never know her, never see her smile, never feel her small but strong arms wrap around them. They will never know their family and the beauty of Naboo in spring time.
He is not sobbing over Qui-Gon Jinn, or Satine (dearest friend and best of women) or any of the other countless people he has lost of Maul, to the Sith, to the Dark and to his own failures. No. How could you say that?
He… is… not… sobbing… over… No. No. Rejoice. He is supposed to rejoice in those who go before him into the Force and Anakin will be in the Force. That’s right. Vader isn’t Anakin. He can’t be. He cannot be, Anakin. When Obi-Wan dies, he will see him again. He is not crying. He… is… not… crying, kark it!
No. Obi-Wan Kenobi does not cry.
At least…
That’s what he tells himself.
