Der britische Newcomer Childe präsentiert seine allererste Single "Bad Ideas", die am 22.04. inklusive Video über Prolifica erscheint. Der junge Brite lässt uns zusammen mit dem polnischen Visual Artist Lukasz Pytlik einen surrealen Indie-Pop-Tagtraum durchleben, mit einem Video, in dem bunte Lichteffekte und eine große Prise Retrocharme aufeinandertreffen.

"Bad Ideas is about being an attention seeker. Attention through affection. But then not wanting it once you’ve got it", erzählt der Brite. Childe, der eine Ausbildung an der legendären Kunsthochschule The BRIT absolvierte, wuchs in einer idyllischen, ländlichen Stadt auf, hatte jedoch schon früh mit Problemen innerhalb des engsten, persönlichen Umfeldes zu kämpfen. Das Artwork von "Bad Ideas" sowie die gesamte Thematik des Songs sind eine Erinnerung an diese traumatische Zeit.

"When I was 14 I went on holiday with my dad,” holt Childe aus. “He was supposed to be sober and we agreed that he could drink and I could smoke cigarettes. We cycled along a canal and slept in a tent outside different pubs. On the first night, we went to the pub and then he got me stoned for the first time and I lost my shit. At 2am I woke up and threw up all over the tent and him and he had to clean it up. The exact same happened the next night.”

BOTA - 'Special' Debut Single Release

Emerging Pop/dance singer and songwriter BOTA is about to premiere her brand new and debut single 'Special'. The music video, which was directed by an award-winning music director Lukasz Pytlik, is going to be out in the beginning of December on her Official VEVO Channel. Produced by Nick Bitzenis, 'Special' has an upbeat pop feel; accompanied by heavy and funky horn melodies and definitive and dynamic piano parts. Lyrically, it's the instant motivational wave that draws you in. 'Being brave means you are special', Bota sings during the chorus, in other words she says that she found her confidence and strength when she started to do what she loves and came out from her comfort zone. Starting off her music pathway back in Kazakhstan, young and ambitious classical pianist Bota has moved to London to give herself a freedom to create music. Wherever Bota goes she WOWS audiences and industry people alike: 'She has a unique identity and a great stage presence'- Open Mic UK 2017, Regional Final.
