So lately I’ve really been into the DL RP community and this is one of my favorite ships ever. 😭 MY RUKAS SHIP. Anyway... HAHAHAHA. First and foremost, this is a birthday gift for my dear friend, Estelle! Happy Birthday again!! Thanks for being such an amazing friend in the short amount of time we’ve known each other. 

For the longest time I haven’t been able to indulge in much of any friendship, so I plan on drawing all of my friends’ OC’s eventually. The Ruki art will still continue, of course. But I would also like to show love to the characters who have grown on me the last 6 months. 😤

Lukas chuckled and nodded his head. "Indeed, I've met Ruki. Though, I think I'm on his death list already. " He smiled. " I'm quite intrigued his sibling would come and talk to me. Am I an approachable fellow? "

Ruki was right.

Why didn't the Vibora King do more than send flimsy guards and chasers?

Shouldn't he have done more?

To answer with the truth, the serpent didn't need to go through such great lengths in capturing his son back. The reason why he resorted to such weak acts of subdual, is to maintain what he built within Lukas' individuality. That ruthlessness and brutality towards others, even towards his own kin, must be maintained for Lukas to be the perfect heir.

Although the Human realm has a possibility on weakening Lukas, Zweig—the twins' father—saw it like a game, and a way he could train Lukas to be alert at all times. He saw it a lesson, and Lukas fell into his pit, blindly and unknowingly.

Even when they're apart, strings still pulled Lukas like a puppet on a show.

And the older twin had no choice but to perform along.

On the brighter side of things, Lukas found himself rather shocked and entranced at the faint blush that adorned Ruki's cheeks. It was light, but evidently there. A stark contrast to Ruki's usual face. It was... strangely an adorable sight to the older snake, so much so that he couldn't help but gape and tune out the Vampire's words.

As the other placed his hands on Lukas' shoulders to gain some distance between them, Lukas took that as his cue to lean in towards Ruki's face.

"You taste good." he lowly mumbled after his sudden assault of licking Ruki's flushed cheeks.

This bold display of affection nearly short-circuited Kai's brain at the action he had just witnessed his brother instigated. It left him speechless, letting out cracked noises of disbelief as he swore he heard thunder and lightning behind him.

No way. Really. What is their relationship?!

This was testing the waters that bordered friendship from something else, and to think it would be his brother of all people who would test these waters.

Finally getting ahold of himself, he forcefully pulled his brother away with a possessive hold.

"THAT'S TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT! WHAT THE FUCK?!" He turned to his brother, "LOU! WHAT THE FUCK?!"

But the older snake only blinked with innocence, daring to even tilt his head to the side with a small smile.

"Hm? What seems to be the problem, Kei? "

"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID—"

"Shouldn't you be bathing right now? As much as I love you dear brother of mine, but your unwashed hands are currently making my skin crawl. "

As if on cue, Kai quickly let go of his brother before opening his mouth to speak, but alas! No words poured out from his hesitance. He glanced at Ruki, scowling and grumbling that the Vampire received such intimacy from his brother. Conflict flashed in his eyes.

He wanted to bathe so he could hug and hold his brother's arm again, but he didn't want to leave the two alone.

With a frustrated yell, Kai roughly ruffled his bed hair before exclaiming, "FINE! I'LL TAKE A BATH! YOU TWO BETTER NOT BE DOING STUFF AGAIN! OR I SWEAR TO MAKAI, SOMEONE WILL DIE TODAY! "

With that said, he left with a sprint.

Silence enveloped the room before Lukas broke out to a chuckle.

"He's so adorable~" he cooed, turning towards Ruki with a smile.

"Well then, shall we clean up the dining area before Kei comes back? I have no experience in doing so but if there's anything I could do to help, please tell me. " he gave a closed eyed smile, as if the licking incident never happened.

"Oh! and please, allow us to buy a replacement. It's only right that we do, but it seems I'm a lot more excited that we'll be shopping together! " he cheered, " I want to buy clothes for Ruki! "

“…What the hell are you doing?”

As Lukas licked his flushed cheeks without warning, Ruki could only blink in bewilderment. Bewilderment and something else, a new sensation the Vampire couldn’t quite put his finger on. Either way, the Vibora stirred foreign feelings deep within, feelings he would never admit to having. After all, it was unbecoming to feel so flustered, so vulnerable, so shy.

Mukami Ruki? Shy? There was no way he could accept something this shameful.

“Stop… I’m not food,” he muttered at the earlier remark as Kai finally pulled his older brother away. “Tch, what a bunch of nonsense.”

Still astonished by the bold display, the twins and their bickering faded in and out of Ruki’s mind as he reflected on what just happened. Indeed, he had acted rather daring himself earlier in the bathtub, but a forked tongue against his cheek is the last thing the Vampire would’ve expected.

Then Kai’s loud threats snapped Ruki out of his concentration.

“Just go take your bath already.”

Now that he was alone with Lukas, he stood up from his seat, looking at the arrangement of silverware that needed washing and the table that needed wiping with a heavy sigh.

“Adorable isn’t how I’d put it, but sure.” The younger twin’s antics certainly didn’t strike Ruki as cute, but he couldn’t possibly badmouth Kai right now. At least not out loud.

“You… You didn’t have to lick me, Lukas. Are you trying to give your brother a heart attack? I don’t know what’s gotten into you, but you’re a rather peculiar snake.” He averted his gaze. “There’s no way they teach this type of behavior to royalty.”

Clicking his teeth in annoyance, Ruki began collecting the dirty dishes and stacking them onto one hand while grabbing the drinking glasses with the other.

“You’re my guest, Lukas. There’s no need for you to help clean up, I couldn’t possibly allow it. Just stay seated for now,” he advised, heading towards the kitchen sink to set the used silverware. “Seriously, there is no need for a replacement fork either, or new clothes for that matter. I have plenty as is.”

Turning on the faucet, a stream of hot water flowed out, washing away any crumbs and debris off the plates. Ruki took a sponge doused in soap and began scrubbing each individual dish clean. Rather than cleaning them using a dishwasher, he preferred the more old-fashioned method.

As he thoroughly rinsed the silverware, the Vampire’s mind still lingered on the idea of shopping together. It sounded like a recipe for disaster, yet at the same time he couldn’t help but wonder how Lukas might react to seemingly ordinary places of the human realm. If he didn’t know what a jigsaw puzzle was, then he would most likely be clueless about other mundane things outside the normalcy of the Vibora clan.

Before he knew it, Ruki imagined Lukas and his theatrical hand gestures, unblinking eyes directed at whatever foreign object they could encounter on this hypothetical errand run. That familiar curious look in his eyes, hands cupping his cheeks, a sweet smile plastered on his face…

Then he finally caught himself in his ridiculous thoughts.

Stop, he warned internally. Stop thinking about this.

“Don’t get your hopes up. It’s just a shopping trip and nothing more. It’s not like we’re visiting a museum or attending a Broadway musical. Besides, I doubt the trip will take that long.” Ruki chuckled, rinsing more of the dishes before setting them down on the drying rack. “We’ll be in and out of the store before you know it.”

Where the Ice melts.

(a/n: Today I have some poetic writing for you! I thought that with two ships now being quite popular, I’d write something for them. Don’t come for my poetry writing skills, haha.)

A dark blue hue in the sky

Smoky topaz eyes in the distance

Curiosity so strong, it hurls you up high

Falling in love without resistance

Oh my, oh my. 

Dark vanilla, so sweet. 

Hoping for a chance to meet. 

At first glance, he seemed like an unapproachable guy. So cold and full of anger. Had anyone ever wondered what would be behind that? She did. Wondering what slumbers behind the anger and the loner attitude, she observed him whenever she knew he was around. One beat, two beats. Her heartbeat quickened, eyes trained on the form of the guy she had been watching. The guy she didn’t even know the name of. However, various acts caught her attention quicker than she realized. His favorite food, his hobbies, his fashion sense and so on. His expression as he took a bite from his food or the relaxed expression as he listened to music were adorable. Frankly, everything about him was just her type. Simple infatuation turned into love. Deep, genuine love. The girl longed to spend time with him. Hanging out, fooling around or just sitting or laying down in silence. She welcomed all of this. Her joy was indescribable as they finally grew closer. Listening to music together, getting to know each other and finally getting entangled in McBed. From then on, their relationship developed like a blooming rose under the kind sun. Soon enough, they would be in a serious relationship. For now, we wait and see.

Somewhere nearby, two souls met. Their interactions enveloped in thorns. Tone icy cold like snow, heart protected in a cage. The touch of the souls slowly lets the snow mountain freeze and the second soul makes its way to the first. From then on, the souls began forming a relationship. Full of dominance, sadism and undiscovered love.

"Cousin! There you are!" Lukas called out with a cheer, sporting a pair of bunny ears as he walked over with a gift in hand.

"Quite a rushed gift and get up since I recently just learned about Easter so, " he handed the gift over, "I hope this will suffice today. Next time, I'll spoil my baby cousin with more gifts. Happy Easter! "

“Baby cousin”…

[ He hadn’t fully considered the fact that he was, indeed, younger than Lukas but… Still— To point it out so mercilessly felt a little cruel! ]

…You’re ineptness is forgiven. You aren’t expecting anything in return, are you?

At the very least, though, I’ll give you my gratitude. It was very selfless to indulge in this tradition for my sake.

They weren't so sure if he'd come to the usual place the three of them seemingly always met, but the twins still came and waited for the presence the little boy that greeted them with a smile across his face.

So to speak, it astonished the Alischer twins that they even managed to be friends Kauze, a founder; a sworn enemy by race and history.

It conflicted them at first but the little boy slithered into their hearts and warmed it with such childish innocence. It urged the twins to teach and raise Kauze in a way they weren't raised. They wanted him to grow up happy, and free from all the tragedies most demons experience.

When the young boy showed up, the twins called him over and presented their gifts.

With a closed eyed smile, Lukas brought out his gifts : A blue antique box framed with gold, a jar of fruit candies, and a blue charm bracelet with various beads.

Inside the box was homemade chocolates Lukas made, and although it may sound delicious, the snake was a terrible cook and the chocolates he made were purely black chocolate with barely any sugar nor milk. He sheepishly smiled at this, hence he bought a jar of fruit candies to compensate.

"My cooking skills aren't the best, so I hope you enjoy the candies instead." He handed his gifts before grabbing Kauze's arm to slip on the bracelet he got for him. " And for the bracelet you gifted me before, I bought one for you. I hope you like it. " He warmly smiled.

Stepping in next, Kai took out his gifts for Kauze : A homemade hot chocolate in jar, a sack of homemade cookies, and a bunch of bracelets Kai made himself. Unlike his brother, Kai had some skills in cooking, albeit it wasn't top tier. He wasn't sure how to make hot chocolate so he opted in putting all the listed ingredients in a jar, in which Kauze could pour hot water in for an instant hot chocolate drink. As for his cookies, they didn't quite look appetizing as the shapes varied and looked deformed, however; it was surprisingly sweet, and maybe a little too sweet.

"Here. It's the most I can do for like..." he shrugged and looked away in embarassment, " Being my friend... I guess. " his voice faltered in the end as blush reached his cheeks. He wasn't used to doing things like this. Lukas only pulled him to.

Lastly, the twins whipped out a Valentine's care from them both and handed it to Kauze.

"Happy Valentine's Day."

[The child blinks several times trying to keep up with the twins giving the various gifts, he was very happy, of course he had the material goods part, but the best part was that the two did something for him]

Wow! Did you... do this to me? I loved it! Thank you very much! Same!

[He put all the bracelets on his arms, striking a pose, he was happy that Kai made these bracelets it reminded him of the day they became friends, Kauze asked the twins to hold the gifts so he could put the backpack on the floor, starting to put away the presents carefully right away]

Hey, what are you talking about? I'm sure your food is delicious! Oh! and I loved the cards! I promise I'll make it for you too, but the girls at school used all the glitter!

[He then takes a chocolate that Lukas had made and puts it in his mouth all at once, tasting the bitter taste, which makes the child involuntarily grimace]

Hmmm~ Hehe, he's healthy! So it's not sweet! You are a genius Lucas! made a healthy chocolate! Now I'm going to try Kai's cookies!

[He then took a cookie, not caring if it was deformed or not, to the founder, what mattered was the effort Kai would have put in to make these cookies]

Hmm! It's very sweet! I liked! But that's not healthy, I'll eat them all hidden from Shin!

[He laughs, the child was going to hug them tightly but stopped midway]

I... can I hug?

Lukas smiled and did a little twirl, showing off his black, long sleeved, turtleneck dress to the other. He sported a pair of black heeled boots as well.

He gave a playful wink, "Why, thank you~! You don't look too bad yourself."
