Why is he the NPC of All Time?

A perfect little boy without whom the campaign would have been very different. Started off as comedic relief and added depth to Lila and Jaysohn, but ended up creating an incredibly emotional moment in the final battle of the campaign. Also, I love Aabria's voice for him and he deserves the world.

Showed up, followed the party immediately with no questions, had a funny voice, got addicted to mint, completely useless. THE MOST NPC ENERGY of all time

He brings so much fun to the twins’ side of the story. it’s clear that aabria just like, forgot that they’d cleared his nose with the mint when she started him with the stuffy voice again, and then everyone just went with it.

In a world-first, chemists print complex structurally colored 3D objects

If someone has a "hard shell but a soft center," that's often regarded as an appealing character trait. But for Professor of Polymer Chemistry Markus Gallei and his doctoral student Lukas Siegwardt the appeal lies in creating objects called "perfect particles" with a hard center and a soft shell.

The term "perfect particles" is used to refer to particles that are all of identical size and shape. Siegwardt and Gallei have now modified these starting materials, which are typically made of common polymers such as polystyrene or poly(ethyl acrylates), so that they can now be processed in a 3D printer—something that has not so far been possible.

Methods to artificially fabricate materials that show structural colors have been around since 2001, but have been restricted to ultrathin films, fractions of a millimeter thick. "Conventionally, these materials have been processed in industrial presses or film rolling equipment, to produce thin polymer films that can change color," explained Professor Gallei.

The color of the film can be changed by numerous means, such as pulling the material, applying an electric voltage to it, changing the temperature or modifying the pH, to name but a few. "You can essentially control the color of the material on demand," said Markus Gallei. The two great advantages of such structural colors are that they are completely harmless—unlike many conventional dye pigments—and that they never fade.

Little reminder for tomorrow's Valentine's Day, for all those who deny Israel's right to exist and still want to celebrate Valentine's Day on 14 February:

Valentine's Day, as it is celebrated in its current form in Western and Christian culture, goes back to a Christian saint and martyr or from the mixing of two Christian saints and named after him or both men. The two Christian saints are Saint Valentin of Terni and Saint Valentin of Rome. (It is also quite possible that both saints were one and the same person).

And we Christians are (Yeah, I know some of you baptised people out there would like to deny this reality, but sorry the New Testament is against you) a Jewish sect from Israel. Which only achieved the popularity and spread that made it today's world religion through the inclusion of Gentiles.

The first members of our early Christian church were Israelite Jews who saw in Jesus of Nazareth, an Israelite Jew too, the Messiah promised by God to his chosen people (the Israelites) and recognised him as such. And we Roman Catholics even trace our first pope back to an Israelite Jew — Saint Peter. (And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church […] (Matthäus 16,18 – ESV))

To summarise briefly for those who are confused:

→ Without Israel and Israeli Jews (including the Jewish faith), no Jewish sect, which later became the world religion called Christianity

→ Without Christianity, no Christian saints and martyrs, named Saint Valentin of Terni and St Valentin of Rome

→ Without a Saint Valentin, no Valentine's Day.

Get it? And if you're not hypocrites and enjoys in double standards, you should keep your hands off this holiday from now on. Or boycott it altogether, that's what you like to do. But of course you can still celebrate a festival of love and romance, I will gladly leave the Roman festival 'Lupercalia' to you. But wait, if you don't believe in the Roman gods, wouldn't that be cultural appropriation of an ancient and extinct culture?

But of course it is also worth looking at the other gospels (Markus, Lukas, and Johannes) or the Acts of the Apostles (Can be found in the ESV under 'Acts').

You've mentioned that when your boiler tickets expire you need new boilers. How does that work? Can the whole boiler be removed from the frames?

"We don't necessarily need to have them replaced, but the boiler and firebox needs to be revised to renew the certificate. The last boiler shop in Norway closed down in the 80's, so bigger repairs and revisions of steam locomotives can no longer be done in Norway. Then the boiler, firebox or the entire engine itself needs to be shipped to another country where they still do these jobs. Minor boiler revisions, like Setskogen's in 2023, can still be done at our workshop in Sørumsand. Basically they go through the entire boiler, looking it over, pressure testing it and such. If a locomotive needs to go to another country, they load it onto a truck and drive it there. Like UHB No.2 Urskog who is currently in Czechia for her revision. Or SB No.5 "Markus" who is in England right now. Also SB No.6 "Lukas" is having his boiler revised, but instead of shipping him entirely to England, they picked him apart and only sent his boiler and firebox. I've attached some photos taken by the author who witnessed the entire process of dismantling him."

This is "Lukas" in June 2024, running passenger trains.

In late August 2024, the process of taking him apart started:

First, they needed to remove the funnel, dome cover and the cab. The crane is a useful tool for that!

Once the boiler was removed from the frame, they put the cab back. Now this is all that is left of him, standing in SB's workshop. It's hard to imagine that only 11 days before this photo was taken, he was moving under his own steam, pulling passenger trains!

The boiler and firebox loaded and secured on a flatbed, ready to be shipped to England for revision.

"Lukas" is expected to be back in service in 2026 or 2027. We look forward to seeing him back in action!

Halaqah 13 - Kitab Al-Injil Bagian 2

Halaqah yang ke-13 dari Silsilah ‘Ilmiyyah Beriman Dengan Kitab-kitab Allāh adalah tentang “ Kitab Al-Injīl (Bagian 2) ”. Diantara kabar yang kita ketahui tentang Al-Injīl di dalam Al-Qurān dan juga hadits-hadits Nabi shallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam, ■ Ketiga | Tentang sebagian yang terkandung di dalam Al-Injīl. Allāh Subhānahu wa Ta’āla menyebutkan diantara kandungan Kitab Injīl adalah:

● ⑴ KABAR GEMBIRA TENTANG KEDATANGAN NABI MUHAMMAD ﷺ . [Sebagaimana dalam QS Al-A’rāf: 157] Demikian pula, ● ⑵ PENYEBUTAN SIFAT SHAHĀBAT RASŪLULLĀH ﷺ . [Sebagaimana dalam QS Al-Fath: 29] Dan Allāh juga menyebutkan di dalamnya bahwa, ● ⑶ ALLĀH MEMBELI JIWA DAN HARTA ORANG YANG BERIMAN DENGAN SURGA. [Sebagaimana di dalam QS At-Taubah: 111]

Dan diantara kabar yang kita ketahui tentang Kitab Injīl di dalam Al-Qurān dan Al-Hadits; ■ Keempat | Diturunkan Kitab Injīl malam tanggal 14 Ramadhān. Rasūlullāh ﷺ bersabda:

وأنزلت التوراة لست مضين من رمضان وأنزل الانجيل لثلاث عشرة مضت من رمضان

“Dan Taurat diturunkan setelah 6 hari berlalu di bulan Ramadhān (yaitu malam tanggal 7) dan Injīl diturunkan setelah 13 hari berlalu di bulan Ramadhān (yaitu malam tangal 14).” (HR Ath-Thabrāniy di dalam Al-Mu’jamul Kabīr dan dihasankan oleh Syaikh Al-Albāniy rahimahullāh) Perlu diketahui bahwa Al-Injīl yang ada sekarang bukanlah Injīl yang asli yang diturunkan kepada Nabi ‘Īsā ‘alayhissalām. Al-Injīl yang Allāh turunkan kepada Nabi ‘Īsā tidak diketahui bekasnya, yang ada hanyalah tulisan orang-orang yang tidak jelas riwayat hidupnya dan tidak ada sanad yang shahih, yang mereka hidup berpuluh-puluh tahun setelah Nabi ‘Īsā diangkat oleh Allāh, sehingga banyak kesalahan dan perbedaan yang banyak sekali di antara Injil-injil tersebut. Oleh karena itu mereka menamakan Injil-injil tersebut dengan nama penulisnya; • Injil Mathius • Injil Markus • Injil Lukas • Injil Yohana • Dan lain-lain. Dan mereka tidak mengatakan bahwa itu Injil dari ‘Īsā ‘alayhissalām. Itulah yang bisa kita sampaikan pada halaqah kali ini dan sampai bertemu kembali pada halaqah selanjutnya.
