Luka Couffaine/Marc Anciel

I can see these two having met before canon and being friends or dating each other. They have a similar rocker style of dressing. Maybe they went to the same charity shop and found band tshirts and CDs. Also Luka has a tendency of supporting super shy anxious people like his sister, and Marc is anxious when he first appears. I can totally see them being exes who stay on good terms or who get back together later.

Finally in my Uber so now I can write!

The Luka/Marc agenda? Let's start simple

Both fellas are OBVIOUSLY alternative and according to Juleka being held back, have BOTH attended the same school, which is fairly small

Now I've mainly gone to small schools except in elementary (ages 5 to 10 ish) which was a fairly big school

But in middle school (ages 11 to 13) we literally only had 2 classes for each grade level, and I would like you to tell me that Dupont has more than two per level

Marinette was hopeful that Chloe would be in another class, but the thing is, in middle and high school, they usually try not to change your main teacher unless you failed a year or had to be moved up, so that obviously wasn't happening but also there was the chance so that means there needed to be at least 1 more class, which to me was Mendeliev's class as she's the other main teacher we know

And we know Marc is in that lady's homeroom

And we know Juleka was held back so she had to change classes

So I posit to you

Imagine the twins and Marc, all the alt kids of their year, in the same class

Luka and Marc laughing circles around each other as they tried "not to ruin their friendship" because they were the only alt kids they knew

Smiling and sighing softly, wishing to know more people already so they can safely try dating without the risk of being alone if dating failed

Juleka, a little more heard when around her twin and a bestie that knows sign language, nudges them both, tries to get them to get off their asses but damn they're ignorant and blissful in their ignorance

(A bright summer Rose catches her being frustrated and offers a shoulder to complain on)

And Luka and Marc? They're doing each other's nails and dying Luka's hair and Marc's idly touching his choker, a birthday gift from the bright eyed boy in front of him, and someone blushes but they look away just as quick

And Anarka hums to herself, wondering if it's okay to tease them or if it's still too new to tease

A strangled and laughing "Luka" sounds through the boat when Luka decides it's time to tickle attack his favorite writer

my first time drawing marc and I'm glad he didn't turn out any worse,,,, now I'm interested in marcgami/marcmi friendship dynamic, thoughts?

((I decided to queue them to post later than usual which was around 8pm est/8am hkt 12am utc, because its mostly the day before for the west. Is this time okay(3am est/3pm hkt/ 7am utc)? Or should i stick to the usual time?))

my personal headcanon puts Marc as older AND a transfer student, so despite his apparent grade (according to what grades of school everyone is in and the fact that marinette is a "senior" in her school and not in the same class as marc)

i see him as Luka's age give or take a few months

and then as besties that grew up together with juleka and painting each other's nails and screaming into mics with rose and everyone just having fun growing up

and marc knows what his preferences are because he grew up around the children of rockstars and everyone just loved each other unabashedly

(and anarka definitely brought a girlfriend and boyfriend home at least once each or had to kick one out that wouldn't leave and of course the kids saw and but it was strategic on her part so they wouldn't feel like they needed to be heteronormative)

and one day marc and luka kiss and its stupid and silly and juleka accidentally interrupted them with a Rose Crisis so they get right back to messing around like one big family and later on they talk about it and Marc is like

"i like you luka, but i dont think i like you enough to date you and break my heart"

and luka is like

"youre my best friend marc and i love you too and if all you want to do is cuddle on the couch, that's all we gotta do and if anyone ever breaks your heart, tell me and jules, youre one of us marc anciel"
