Ivanna is back and apparently the guy who left her at the altar is the same one that came back for Di.
Ah yes, that boy. Stayed at the Inn a few days -- he has massively fucked up, hasn’t he? Maybe we begin bets on when he’s going to leave? @fadiingstarliight @qvietwhispers @perfectregret

Meeting his ex for drinks, especially the ex who he left at the altar did not seem like a good idea but then she had wanted to talk and he felt he owed her what she asks for after how much he hurt her. When he got to the bar, Ivanna was already there and he walked up to her with a smile on his lips and guilt weighing him down. “Hey.” he said and took the seat beside her. “You.. you look good.” he added, not entirely sure what to tell her. @qvietwhispers

Everyone seems awfully worried about Thea.
Heard she went and had a thinking session at her best friend’s ex’s house. That sounds like utter rubbish. @andthereweresparks @perfectregret @fadiingstarliight

“You are the worst!” Luis yelled after Cain as soon as he forced him out of the apartment and shut the door on finding out that his girlfriend was coming over soon. Rolling his eyes, he texted Ivanna to see if she was home asking if it was okay for him to come by a little early to drink like they had planned. He soon walked over to her block, knocking at her door. “Pretty sure I don’t have a place to crash tonight, I have the worst roommate.” he said, chuckling as he stepped inside. @qvietwhispers

luis
Another night he was drinking at Ivanna's place, he was starting to lose track of the amount of time he spent with her because it's like, a lot. Taking another sip, he laughed at a joke she said before a small silence fell between then and he spoke again. "Kinda thinking of going back home." he told the other with a shrug of his shoulders. The entire reason he had come to town was to leave Ivanna and stay with Cain. Now Cain was happy and he was starting to trust that Mira won't drag him down again, and he had his entire family to care for him if he needed. As for Iva, he really wasn't sure if it was a good idea to keep spending time with her, his feelings were getting all confusing again. "I mean, not really, but also kind of? I don't know."
ivanna
Ivanna had found herself yet again spending time with Luis, the two drinking at her place. It was weird, and almost concerning, how easily things seemed to be between the two of them, despite their history. She'd been laughing at her own joke, taking a sip of her drink before he mentioned going home, almost choking on her drink in the meantime. "What?" She questioned, brows burrowing together as she looked at him. Spending as much time with him as she had, old feelings had started to arise, one's she hadn't be entirely sure were real. Iva knew it was probably best if he left, not wanting to complicate things - but at the same time, she didn't want to. "I mean, do you want to leave?" She asked, trying to mask the disappointment on her face.
luis
Luis didn't know how to answer and so he took the bottle from her and had a sip of the alcohol using the time to gather his thoughts a little. "Well, going back is an option. There were better things back home. Better job, and well, a few more friends than here." he said with a light laugh before his eyes met hers. Perhaps it was the alcohol making him talk or just the fact that he had been thinking about them far too much lately. "I am not entirely sure what I am doing here, you know. I mean, I came here because I ran from.. well, us, and I am still hanging out with you and I don't know. Feels kinda like before with you but in a different way. It's all very confusing."
ivanna
Ivanna frowned as he mentioned things were better back home. "Oh, right. I almost forgot how much you left behind," She admitted, chewing on her bottom lip. Ivanna ran a hand through her hair, watching him carefully as he spoke again. "I get it," Ivanna spoke softly, swallowing. She wasn't often vulnerable with her feelings, but this time she felt she could be. "I ran back home to be with my brother, try and fix things after I ran in the first place. I also wanted to run from the fact ... well, you know," She mumbled, shrugging her shoulders. "But you're right. When I first saw you I was so angry, and then... I just wasn't, and now you're right, it feels like it was before, but better? Almost? I didn't want to say anything because I didn't really want to scare you off."
luis
"I forget too sometimes." he said with a light laugh. "But yeah, I kinda built my life there from scratch and it's what I am doing here again, it's not easy." Having had moved with his sister when he was very young, Luis had to work for every single thing he had. He didn't really want to let all of it go. But now he wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to let Iva go. Which was ridiculous considering that's what he had done last time and even if something happened between them he would worry if he was going to hurt her again. "Yeah." he said softly as she avoided the fact speaking of the fact that her parents had died, placing his hand on hers gently. "I mean we are actually talking now, sometimes, which is a big difference from before." he pointed out with a small smile. "I'm not scared, I wasn't scared before. I thought I was making a mistake and didn't think it was fair to you to have to spend your life with me. But I also panicked a little. It was a mess, I am so sorry I put you through that."
ivanna
"Yeah, I can imagine it isn't," Ivanna chewed on her lower lip. She knew he had much more back home, but Iva found herself selfishly wishing he wouldn't leave. As he placed his hand on hers, Ivanna blinked, not realising she momentarily spaced out. "Sorry," she mumbled, before hesitantly turning her hand slightly to lace their fingers together. "We are, and I'm sorry I didn't talk before." When he mentioned thinking he was making a mistake, Iva signed. "I get it, and you don't have to apologise. I mean it sucked, but I don't think I was entirely in the right place back then anyway. I mean what kind of bitch doesn't invite her brother to her own wedding?" Swallowing thickly, Ivanna ran her free hand through her hair. "It was a mess, but then I was a mess. I actually think you leaving knocked some sense into me finally. I was always running when things got rough, and you made me realise I shouldn't."
luis
"Don't apologize, it's okay." he said with a small smile on his lips as he turned his head to look at her. He was worried for her and with the recent accident it didn't seem like she was doing all that well either. "I mean, neither did I, and I feel like it made me less guilty about not opening up because you didn't. Now that I think of it, we were both fucked up messes." he chuckled, but there wasn't much humour to it. "Oh yeah, that's a cherry on top, and your brother is pretty great. I mean he clearly hates me, but he's pretty great." he grinned at her. "Me leaving made you come back so that's definitely something I guess. If we want to find a silver lining in all of that." He took the bottle again and taking a sip from it before he spoke again hesitantly. "How different do you think is it now?"
ivanna
Ivanna mimicked his smile, though it was rather forced. Given everything happening recently, her mind had been all over the place, especially with seeing Hugo cope. It had only made her feel guilty she'd not been there before, but this time, she wasn't running. She was going to be there for him, like she should have been before. "Oh we definitely were. I think that's half the reason we were drawn to each other, because we didn't actually ask questions," She admitted, shrugging her shoulders. "I don't think he hates you, I mean, it's not your fault you didn't know. I think he'll just always be mad about it, even if he says it's fine." She mumbled sheepishly, scratching at the back of her neck. "Yeah, it's something. Never actually expected to find you here, though, that's still so surreal to me." She laughed weakly, before pausing. "I think it's a lot different. I mean, I'm actually dealing with my shit instead of running from it, and we're actually talking, mostly. I don't know. How different do you think it is?"
luis
"Not the best reason." he said with a sad smile, nodding as she explained what Hugo thought of him. His fault or not, he supposed to her little brother he will always be the guy who left his sister at the altar. He didn't really blame the other for not being fond of him. "Oh, yeah, tell me about it. I was literally half way across the country and here you were at that New Year Party. I thought I had gotten pretty fucking drunk." he chuckled. "I'm glad you're dealing with all your shit. I know it's not been easy." he said softly. "I don't know, I feel like if we hadn't met before and we had met here where both of us are trying to move on from the past and not avoiding it, we'd have had a better chance of working out. I don't know if that makes sense but.. yeah."
ivanna
"No, but it wasn't the only reason, either," she admitted quietly. As he recalled new years, Ivanna shook her head fondly, laughing at the memory. "Yeah didn't expect to run into you in my home town of all places, and then I proceeded to get really fucking drunk." Ivanna pulled a face. "I get it, but maybe...." She began before trailing off, "I don't know, maybe if we tried again we'd work better this time. Learning from your mistakes and all that."
luis
"No, it wasn't." he said with a small smile. "In my defense I didn't even know you were from here. The girl I was going to marry, I didn't know her hometown." He shook his head as he thought of how stumped he had been that night. As much as he had hated hurting Ivanna, that moment had made him realize he did do the right thing, for both of them. At that time at least. Things just seemed a lot different now and he didn't know how to explain it. "Do you want to? Give it another try?"
ivanna
"We really were kind of ridiculous back then weren't we? We were going to get married and you didn't even know where I was from," She huffed out a breath of laughter, shaking her head sadly. As he spoke again, Ivanna paused, swallowing. Her teeth tugged on her lower lip as she mulled the question over before nodding slowly. "Yeah. I do. Do you?"
luis
When Ivanna admitted to wanting try again, Luis was truly surprised. A smile lit up on his lips though because that was what he wanted too. "Yeah." he said before he placed the bottle aside and moved closer to her, pressing a kiss to her lips. "Guess I just have to think about moving back home later on then." he added as he pulled back from her, a small laugh leaving his lips as he brushed a few strands of hair from her face.
ivanna
Ivanna wasn't entirely sure what his response would be, but when he smiled and confirmed this was something he wanted to, she relaxed. A smile curved on her own lips as she leaned in, kissing him back softly. "If you really want to go, I won't stop you, but I'd really like you to stay," she admitted softly. "Whatever you decide, we'll figure this out, together." Iva added the smile growing on her lips as she leaned into his touch.
luis
"No," he said softly, "I think I'm going to stay, see where this takes us." A smile lit up on his lips as the other said that they can figure this out together. "Yeah, together." he repeated the word as he pressed their lips together again, liking the sound of it all too much and unlike the relationship they had in the past, Luis was hopeful that there was something good going to come out of this for both if them.

It was an understatement to say that Luis was worried about Lucille. It had barely been days since Landon had gotten out of hospital and she was slowly feeling better but Leo had to drop this new bomb and she was back to being a complete mess. He had been prepping for dinner when she texted him, but he put that aside and went to find her, soon in front of the grocery store, eyes searching or her. Once he spotted her, he stopped the car and went to take her bag from her. “You okay?” he said as he quickly placed the bag in the trunk of his car and walked back towards her. @andthereweresparks

He had sent her a few texts asking her about what she wanted for dinner and when she’d be back but she didn’t reply. Not that it worried him all that much but it was definitely odd, he simply decided she was busy though before ordering in a pizza. He was on his second slice and was watching a movie when he heard the door open and Lucille walked in. “Hey, I bought pizza if you are hung--” he began to say before he took in how she looked. Dropping his pizza slice he immediately gut up and walked towards her. “Lucy, what happened? You okay?” @andthereweresparks

When Cain switched off his phone, Luis definitely began to lose his mind. When he woke up that morning, in Ivanna’s bed nonetheless, this was not how he thought his day would go but he was soon driving around town looking for his best friend worried about how he was handling his dumb girlfriend breaking up with him over text. Thankfully, it was not long after that he was told Cain was at the beach and he went looking, texting Winnie as soon as he saw to put his family’s mind at ease. He quickly walked over to where he was sat, his eyes falling on the bottle he had but gave a sigh of relief seeing it wasn't opened. “I guess I can add being able to find people easily to my short list of perks of living in a small town.” he said gently, trying to hide the worry he had been feeling for the other before he sat down next to the other. @qvietwhispers

Granted, it was a small town so he shouldn’t be too surprised to see his ex at probably the biggest party in the town. But then again, he should have thought about this, planned for this, except he didn’t know what he was doing with his life anymore. Going from being engaged to running away, being in a great job to working as a cashier -- not to mention it had seemed like a good idea to accompany Lucille and have some fun because she was going through a lot as well. But when he got his next drink and bumped right into Diane, he cursed internally for not thinking this through. “Di, hi -- sorry.” he said hastily. “Um, happy new year?” @perfectregret

Wakefield was not really what Luis was used to but despite it being a boring little small town, Luis had made the decision to stay which led him to simply go around town trying to get familiar with the streets as well as the surprisingly friendly people. When he stopped in front of a tattoo parlour though, a good one too from the looks of it too, not something he would have expected in the midst of these tiny stores, he stepped in, wondering if perhaps it was time for another tattoo. He wore a full sleeve shirt but it was folded to the elbows and the tattoos all over his arms were clearly visible as he stepped inside and looked around. @qvietwhispers

{ More about Luis + his connections under the cut !! }
Biography:
( tw: death mention, murder mention )
Luis remembered the time when he was a kid and his parents were around. Things were much easier for him then, but that wasn’t a life which lasted. He was eleven when his mother was thrown in prison for a crime she didn’t commit. Weeks after his father’s demise they claimed that she poisoned him. Nobody believed her when she said she didn’t but Luis did, not that he could do anything about it when she sentenced to a life in prison.
After she was gone, Luis was left with his two year old sister, Sofia, under the care of his uncle who cared very little about him or his sister. They had a nanny but she barely helped and it was Luis who ended up caring for Sofia.
It was a long time before he realized that his uncle was stealing his parents money and began to doubt that he was the one who framed his mother somehow. He worried for his safety and Sofia’s and as soon as he was 18, he took what money he could get hold of and ran away with his sister.
While he vowed to one day avenge his mother, prison life did nothing for his mother’s health and she soon died before he could try and get her out.
It was not easy but Luis did his best taking care of Sofia and making a life of his own too and with time, he was able to make something for themselves, enough to give his sister a comfortable life.
That was when Diane came into his life and for a few years it seemed like everything was perfect especially when they got engaged, except she left and he was lost. When she finally called him to tell him what was going on, he understood her and wanted to make it work but uprooting his sister and taking her to a small town when she was working hard to get into college was not an option. They tried long distance for a while before calling it quits.
The engagement ended with Luis spiraling a bit and hurrying to fill Diane’s place before he could feel the pain of her absence. Which he did, new love, new engagement in a short span of two years. On the day of his supposed wedding though he realized the woman who was her bride was not who he wanted at all. His sister was in college now and so there was nothing stopping him from making a run for it ending up in Wakefield because if nothing else, he at least needs closure with Diane.
