I just got back home actually!! i didn’t know you were writing a fic! May i know the synopsis or something?? (and 1, 4, 7, 13)

Hello darling!! I’m currently writing a few things, but I’ll tell you about the main one. It’s a hp au, and the plot is that pcy mysteriously falls into a deep sleep one night and the only way to wake him is by true loves kiss. The entire fic is basically just baek and jd running around hogwarts doing dumb things while they try and figure out who his true love is, I’ve already got two chapters up and I’m working on the third and final one rn

That’s all I say for now!! And now the questions~

1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?

I honestly,,,,cannot remember ngl, I’ve always been rly into fairytales and sleeping beauty/snow white are two of the most iconic stories. I guess I wanted to bring them to the current day but I couldn’t figure out how to do it without involving witches and magic, so a hp au seemed the best bet

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

“Minseokkie, my most favourite and handsomest cousin, how are you this lovely afternoon? You’re as ravishing as ever, have you been working out? You look great, the whole body-builder thing looks fabulous on you. You know, if we weren’t related and I didn’t have to fear Luhan violently castrating me with his delicate man hands, I’d happily court you myself, you sexy beast, you.”

(Minseok and luhan aren’t dating or anything, Jongdae is just a shit lol)

7: Where did the title come from?

The title is ‘you’re asleep in me (I can’t help but smile) and it’s taken from She’s Dreaming, it just seemed to fit the mood, all the chapters are named after a lyric from the song as well

13: What music did you listen to, if any, to get in the mood for writing this story? Or if you didn’t listen to anything, what do you think readers should listen to to accompany us while reading?

I just listen to whatever I feel is good background noise tbf, I’ve been writing it for so long that I don’t rly have a set soundtrack. I know I listened to ABBA Gold a lot while writing the first chapter, so there’s that I guess, no reason I just like ABBA a lot lol

For songs to listen to while reading ummmmmmmmmm the hp soundtrack is the most suitable obviously, She’s Dreaming, Of Boats and Birds by Gregory and the Hawk, anything by Five For Fighting (especially Your Man), anything by Glass Animals, tbh I don’t really know, just whatever gives you soft magic sleepy feels
