so for christmas this year, I got a number of presents

- Genesis’s Duke, and Yes’s Tales from Topographic Oceans, both on vinyl. I do not have a record player.

- a smooth fluffy black bathrobe for personal wear.

- a T-shirt with Sonic the Hedgehog on it

- the first four Tarantino movies in a blu-ray box set

- Ludwig: Requiem for a Virgin King, the first movie in Syberberg’s Germany film trilogy. this is the trilogy that culminates in the 7-hour Hitler film. (my brother sent this to me. I was floored. in no way did I expect it.)

- 12 Angry Men on DVD. (okay so I bought this one for myself. it was 50p at a charity shop. but it’s such a good movie! I can watch it over and over!)

- Twin Peaks: The Television Collection on blu-ray, which is all three seasons of the show plus bonus features. (okay so I bought this one for myself too. sue me. I got really into Twin Peaks. this one goes very nicely with what my dad got me:)

- a big ol��� David Lynch box set on DVD. it has Eraserhead, Dune, Blue Velvet, Wild at Heart, the Twin Peaks movie, and Lost Highway, and a bunch of special features. I am very excited to dig into this. a lot of movies I haven’t seen in a long time, and some movies I haven’t ever seen.

- I also went and subscribed to Vsauce’s Curiosity Box. Looking forward to getting my hands on one of those.

- and I’ve been buying a bunch of music, because why not. the first five Between the Buried and Me albums have received remasters in this past year, and I am all up on that. the third issue of the Marble Hornets comic too!!! so good!

Anyway. There’s also been some not so good personal stuff going on, but let’s not focus on that here. It’s been a fun holiday season. Peaceful.

And we’re a week away from the next major holiday landmark: January 2nd, my birthday. Listen to my music, I beseech you. Download it, they come with bonuses and they’re free.

My favourite books are Les Miserables, Hesse’s Narcissus and Goldmund & Heinrich von Ofterdingen by Novalis. 

I don’t really watch any shows but I do have a few favourite movies: The Love Witch,  Ludwig – Requiem for a Virgin King and Possibly in Michigan (although it’s a short film). 

I have so so many favourite games.... a few of them: Dishonored, Bloodborne, The Cat Lady, the Rusty Lake series & Stardew Valley

I believe, it's from the film called Ludwig: requiem of the virgin king. It's a really weird art house film that ends with a yodeling blue eyeshadow wearing Ludwig with a bunch of bikers watching him. Your welcome.
