Sackboy gets bitches
Hello everypony welcome back to another edition of LittleBigPlanet...LORE!!!!!!!
I realized that Sackboy has had quite an amount of romantic brushes. Let's go through them...together🥺😘
I might have miss a few things. My memory on Karting is fuzzy n my goofy ass stopped right before the final level of PSP because I got distracted by the ball mini game. Such is life...
LBP1- Sackgirl
Sackgirl isn't really a character unless your avatar is a girl. Still, prerelease and promotional material promote her as the Sackgirl to Sackboy's Sackboy.
In the Milestone 5 video, Sackboy has a photo of her in his pod.
There's an ad where Sackboy goes to save Sackgirl, but it ends badly. (Not sure if this is actually the E3 2008 trailer there are a lot of uploads of this vid lol )
youtube
There were also some promotional renders of them together for valentine's day.
There's probably more to this since LBP1 had a lot of advertising. These are just the ones I remember right now.
Oh yeah, there are the wedding outfits's existence also. Let's hope the marriage didn't go through, considering the murder.
LBP PSP- Jessica Rabbit lookin ass
At the end of Tinsel Town this lady asks you to sign a prenup after being rescued by the giant ape. Hey, at least take us on a date first!
If you don't know what a prenup is... you can look it up! You're already online! But basically it means when they get married and then divorce, Sackboy isn't gonna get any money in compensation. Hey...
LBP2- Sackbot Harem
Well, there's this render of Sackboy being surrounded by enamoured Sackbots and blushing.
In the game itself, there's a level where enamoured Sackbots are attracted by a pretty hologram called Luscious Lucy. (are they all sapphic?) It might be a stretch, but maybe at one point in development they were attracted to you? xD
LBP3- Prototype Newton
I've posted about these lines before. I think they're funny cuz if they were kept this would mean that Newton was explicitly bi/gay. Thank you to whoever at Sumo Digital put these in for nobody to see. I appreciate you.
In an unused level in the final game (sacktown) that can be ported and played on the alpha version, Newton says you can use the Pumpinator on both women and men's skirts. This has nothing to do with Sackboy I just like telling people about it.
In an early version of The Great Escape, Newton says... this
Bro, calm down
SABA- This random cunt
who the fuck is this?

🎃Inktober of 2021 - Day 18: 🥜🤡Brown’s Joker
Hey guys! I’m finally bringing you my lastest Inktober art share and not about to be a late one at that; after what I did from my pervious post yesterday. Though I wanted to make up for it somehow while I’m not trying to goof up from doing other stuff I went into. Nevertheless, I’m glad to bring you my lastest art share of 🥜Brown the Squirrel in second appearance. Unlike from my Day 4th posting while tragically turning into that laughing joy zombie in “What If”, However he got his laughter under control when become DC’s most iconic villain of all time and for good reason if everyone who’s been watching Batman: The Animated Series since childhood memories. It’s something that grows on him despite his shyness emotion, He’s actually goes all in when dressing as the clown prince of crime in non-toxic makeup, the suit, and trying to make his Mark Hamill’s impression with his laugh and movements. Just hoping not too much or else he’ll go insane; even though that was Joker’s doing through comics, television, and even video games like Injustice: Gods Amoung Us or Batman: Arkham series. Though couldn’t help of why he did brings his Halloween bucket filled with wind up teeth toys. Just making sure he needed his teeth shiny while doing his evil smile? 😈
Brown created by me; BryanVelasquez87 (Bryan360)
His Joker oufit based on 1992’s Batman: The Animated Series (also known as The Adventures of Batman & Robin) created by Eric Radomski and Bruce Timm; based on Batman in DC Comics; produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros Animation; originally aired on Fox Kids from September 5th, 1992 to September 15th, 1995

Week 7 - Establishing The Story
This week’s tutorial consisted of showcasing our short films and receiving feedback, we then were briefed on the next assignment and split ourselves into groups to divide up roles and responsibilities as well as start brainstorming ideas. We agreed that Jade would be our director and all-rounder, David would be our editing/cinematography & potentially sound/music. Lucy would be our producer and Ashleigh would be our scriptwriter and I would be the Art director. These roles are quite loose as we decided that we can all help out with different areas but for the sake of organisation and equal workloads we would mainly work and within these job descriptions. We set up a google doc where we can document all of our progress and easily access what each other is working on, we also plan to have a Pinterest board. So far the group has been really good at communicating and supportive of all suggestions during our first discussion.
Our story will be about a young female singer (name yet to be decided) who is a struggling alcoholic, trying to make it big. The story showcases her life as messy and tedious but through singing and performing she is “set free”. Set in around the 1930s/ 40s it follows a similar aesthetic to Jessica Rabbit or Betty Boop as these were the two main inspirations when discussing a style and tone to follow. The film begins in an alleyway where our main character will be smoking and goes into the back entrance of the club where she is performing. We will have scenes of her getting ready for the performance intercut with flashbacks to establish backstory and context for her drinking issues. As we progress through the short film the tone gets more and more intense, quicker cuts and increasing music playing on the title of Crescendo.
This main idea was suggested by Jade and we decided to go with it as it provides a lot of leeway in which direction, we could go. We also thought we could incorporate the various mandatory shots into our film with ease using this particular genre and style. After brainstorming a couple of particular scenes, sound/music and lighting ideas we had a fairly clear direction we were going to follow.
My role as art director is to conceptualise what the film will look like, with props, costuming and art for storyboarding and mood boarding. As well as titles and graphics for post-production. Some initial Sketches were drawn up by Jade to demonstrate and clarify what aesthetic and style we are aiming for.

So somehow Corey Taylor has now ended up in the place where I’m assuming the other Nostalgia Critic episodes take place, which has all these parody posters of previous Nostalgia Critic reviews and Doug Walker’s YouTube plaques on the walls. Doug, you spent a majority of at least the first half of this “review” beating us over the head with how much you hate Roger Waters’s ego, but then you show us shots like this and expect people to not comment on yours? Of course there is a very slight chance that this might’ve been an attempt at self-deprecation, showing that Doug is aware that “Nostalgia Critic” has just as much of an ego as Waters and he’s just oblivious to it, but given how the rest of this “review” is and how Doug has reportedly acted behind the scenes on other projects, I highly doubt it.
Now you’d think that with Corey Taylor here and the “review” being nearly over that this would be the part where he finally says something, especially since we’re close to one of the few times we hear Bob Geldof sing in the film. You’d be wrong. Before Doug can finish whatever speech he had planned for this part, he answers a call from... some dude asking about the whereabouts of someone called Lucy Lacemaker. Oh boy... So something I’ve been mostly ignoring is that there’s a strange creature that’s popped up briefly a few times throughout the “review”. That creature is Lucy Lacemaker, the creation of someone called Fennah, making a guest appearance in this review because... uh... The Wall had weird animated characters in it? That’s what Lucy starts talking about: how the animated characters’ designs were creative but the characters themselves were terribly underused (“All paint, no ink” as she puts it). If you’ve actually seen the film, then you know that this criticism doesn’t make sense. The animated characters and creatures in The Wall aren’t exactly characters in and of themselves; they’re figments of Pink’s imagination that are either meant to symbolize things (i.e. the black eagle in “Goodbye Blue Sky” being the Nazis who did aerial bombings on England), purposefully one-dimensional caricatures of real people in Pink’s life who’ve damaged him (his overprotective mother, his cheating wife, the abusive schoolmaster), or sometimes even how he sees himself in that moment (the mostly inanimate doll and possibly Judge Worm). They aren’t the main focus of the film or album because the focus is Pink and his internal struggles. (I was gonna say “That’d be like saying that Tamatoa should’ve been the main character of Moana when the film is about Moana”, but... no, that would still make more sense because at least Tamatoa is an actual character in that film and not a figment of someone’s imagination, despite what some grimdark edgelord fan theories say.)
Anyway, it fades to... some sort of alternate universe or dimension or something? Whatever, Doug’s now in this world of weirdos who sing about what they think of the film? I guess? This is a “parody” of “The Trial”, the climax of the film where Pink mentally, well, puts himself on trial for “showing feelings” and culminates in him making himself “tear down the wall”, allowing himself to feel and move on from his trauma. On the one hand I get the most basic line of logic for this “parody” (“The Trial had weird animated creatures, so therefore this parody of it should have weird animated creatures”), but this looks and feels so out of place here. I mean, if these creatures were in a video about Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland movies I wouldn’t bat an eye at it, but for a video about The Wall it feels so wrong. It gets worse when you know that the animated characters in The Trial all have connections to Pink whereas these characters are from a completely different creator with no ties to Doug Walker at all (or even Corey Taylor, who, you know, is supposed to be standing in for Pink). It’s not like Doug doesn’t have characters of his own or that they couldn’t fill in the spaces of the people in The Trial if he wanted to (Chester A. Bum, Devil Boner, Hyper Fangirl, The Devil, Charts Guy, Bill, etc.), so the lack of using them for this and instead using characters from something completely unrelated to his show made by someone completely unrelated to his crew makes it feel impersonal, which is the exact opposite of what The Trial did. It needs to be personal in order for it to have the proper impact on Pink (or whoever’s standing in for him in this case), so removing that element from it takes away a lot of the punch.
I don’t want to be too harsh on this sequence because I know a lot of people have given Fennah guff over it (and supposedly they didn’t take the backlash regarding their part in it very well), but even with how out-of-place it is I have to admit the animation isn’t too bad, especially given that this was all done in about two and a half weeks. Oh yeah, according to Fennah, Doug Walker only gave them about two and a half weeks to do all this animation, which is half of what it normally takes for him to make something like this. What the fuck, Doug? You claim that you worked on this “review” for at least two months (not that it shows) and you only gave Fennah two and a half weeks to animate their parts? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised given how much you overworked your former associates on the set of To Boldly Flee, but I guess you really didn’t learn anything from that. I mean, the least you could’ve done was try to react a little more to all these weird creatures and places you found yourself in for no reason, yet your acting is somehow worse than the performances in other animation-live action hybrid movies you’ve criticized in the past.
But enough of all that, let’s look at the lyrics for this parody of one of my favorite parts from both the album and film. Because fuck me, we’re almost done.
[Lyrics (and snark) below the cut]
[Note: I don’t know anything about Fennah, their webshow Satellite City, or anything else they do; the only character name I know is Lucy’s, so the rest of these are gonna be very crappy physical descriptions. Apologies in advance for that.]
Someone vaguely like Lucy I guess but way bigger and with horns: Right then, Lucy Lacemaker, The court will take a vote On if the film that plays before us Can in any way show some feelings, Ruddy feelings of an almost canny nature From joys to blues
[Lady, if you and these other characters wanted to do a comprehensive analysis of The Wall, then you should’ve done it way sooner and not in the last seven to eight minutes of someone else’s video, let alone the video of someone who doesn’t even really analyze it themselves.]
Five-armed scarecrow motherfucker: I always said I like a well-made ditty
[Well you’re not going to be hearing any of that in this video, dude. Edit: So I thought this said “I always said I like to wear me titty”, which of course makes no sense, but according to another video, these are the actual words. It makes more sense, but that’s still what I hear whenever I stumble upon a video talking about this.]
I will not suffer shitty Fools that bring forth Naught but pity For their lack of wit and wild
[Jesus christ, is this yet another jab at Roger Waters?! I got enough of that from Doug Walker beating it into everyone’s skulls for the last half-hour, I don’t need to hear it from whoever the hell this is too.]
But here we rather find The result of heart and artist I say the music here is joyous!
[At this point I can’t even tell if this is supposed to be a genuine compliment or a backhanded one.]
But with that, we have to say
Black, spiky, horned demon goat thing: Lazy Left in the attic We’re not crazy Constantly dreaming I just wish they’d give us some more time to live
[How is the film not being about you “lazy”? Are you even talking about this film specifically, or just movies with underused cool-looking creatures in general? Also, this seems pretty ironic given that each of these characters (with the exception of Lucy) only get maybe a few seconds of screentime in this “review”.]
Horned kangaroo lizard titty monster with no pants: Lazy, Constantly (???) as being lazy
[This is the one most everyone points to when they talk about the lyrics being unintelligible, and I don’t blame them because I’ve seen this part multiple times and still can’t fully figure out what she’s saying. Also, I’m sorry Fennah, but somebody’s gotta say it: the lip-syncing here is awkward at best.]
Multi-horned Christmas goat motherfucker: Those little shits They’ve done it now We all deserve personalities They could’ve used us Far more often than they did, But no! They had to go their own way
[Again, this film’s not about the weird creatures for a reason: they’re not the focus because they aren’t real in the context of the film and the focus is Pink and his personal struggles. If you want animated characters with creative designs that have more screentime and development, then I have no clue what made you think you’d get it from this film out of all the other animated media out there. Not every animation-live action hybrid movie is trying to be Who Framed Roger Rabbit (especially not this one since it came out years before Roger Rabbit did).]
We’re bored of Alice! We want the Hatter
[Okay, credit where it’s due, I like this tiny bit here by itself. I definitely don’t think it works as a “criticism” of The Wall, but it’s decently creative in a way.]
Just five minutes more, your honor, Them and us alone
Blue Skyrim-looking dragon: Wait! This film’s not bound by characters It’s a visual affair It never aimed to tell a story
[Were you watching the same film that everyone else was, or are you somehow confusing it with the “review” you’re currently in? The film does have characters and does tell a story, and I think it does a pretty decent job at it (even better than the album I’d argue), unlike this “review” which tries to have a narrative but becomes less and less cohesive as it drags on.]
Rather sprawling canvas of Emotion visual splendor And your honor, we can take that home
[Take what home? I don’t even know what your argument is supposed to be here. This just sounds like word salad at this point.]
Tall Sean Connery-sounding werewolf in a striped robe: Maybe There’s more to the picture Just maybe Both sides of the wall
[...Nobody in this “review” actually knows what “The Wall” that the film and album are talking about is supposed to be, do they?]
Sean Connery-sounding werewolf and white lizard thing: There’s a difference between nonsense, after all That and Creation
Mutated cow monster thing on a moon surrounded by jellyfish: Genius and nonsense And creation
[Okay, again, credit where it’s due: the lip-sync for this thing is awkward, but this is the only person or thing in this “review” with a genuinely pleasant and clear singing voice. Shame that she only gets two or three short lines, one of which she has with the previous duo.]
Lucy Lacemaker: The evidence before the court is Incontrovertible There’s no need for the jury to retire In all my years of judging, I have never seen before
[With the exception of one word in that last part, Lucy’s whole bit here is completely lifted from the original. Some of these were already cutting it close to the original’s, but this is just straight up copying it. I don’t know who wrote this part of the “review” (I’ve gotten conflicting information on whether it was Doug or Fennah who wrote this particular parody), but whoever it was, you’ve got some nerve to have characters call the film “lazy” only to later turn around and do this.]
A film so deserving Of both love and wanting more The way it makes you tougher, Makes you think and feel but suffer, Fills me with the urge to decapitate
[Go on, Lucy! Off with his head! Edit: I guess here’s as good a point as any to point out that, at least according to TV Tropes, Lucy is a lesbian who likes to murder people, so apparently that’s supposed to be funny. ...Yeah, no, it’s not. Fuck you, TV Tropes.]
I believe this film is packed
[I’m being generous in assuming she said “packed” at least, because it sound like she’s saying “hacked” but that doesn’t really make sense. Then again this whole bit in this “review” doesn’t really make sense when it comes down to it.]
With much to be revered But the marvelous creatures Should be adored As opposed to being feared
[...You mean you want people to love the animated creatures based on literal abusers and Nazis?]
Tear down the wall!
[What wall?! In the context of this “review” there is no wall! Even if the context here is that there’s a “wall” between nightmarish fantasy and reality, then Lucy and/or Fennah already broke it offscreen before this whole number started. Or are you talking about the film/album The Wall? If that’s the case, then why are you demanding that Doug Walker tear it down when he was already doing that long before you showed up? What did Doug have to do with any of this? What the hell happened to Corey Taylor during all this?! Why did I waste so much time writing all this down?! Why did I do this to myself?! WHY?!]
#Blapis tears down NC's The Wall#long post#bold text warning#capslock warning#very long post#Nazi mention //#abuse mention //#yes I did just somewhat compare Tamatoa to the animated creatures in Pink Floyd's The Wall; the fuck are you gonna do about it

Ten Top Risks Of Attending Abstract Painting 6 - Abstract Painting 6
What a year it was for women artists — unprecedented, glorious, diverse. In New York, the Kenyan-American Wangechi Mutu’s aerial caryatids currently advanced the Metropolitan Museum. In Shanghai, the Colombian Doris Salcedo won the countdown $1m Nomura Art Award, the world’s better art prize. In London no appearance compared, for memories of colour punching the eye, with the magentas, bounce greens and cutting dejection of Lee Krasner’s abstruse paintings at the Barbican: a blissful revelation. Dora Maar’s photomontages and Nan Goldin’s photo account “The Ballad of Animal Dependency” at Tate Modern, Cindy Sherman’s character puzzles at the Civic Portrait Gallery, bless women as dogged antecedents in photography.
6 Abstract Paintings/Stories | ido art karen robinson - abstract painting 2010 | abstract painting 2010 “Why accept there been no abundant women artists?” Linda Nochlin asked provocatively in 1971. Half a aeon later, the assize is actuality prised open. In April, the Civic Gallery’s Artemisia will be the aboriginal UK appearance of the Renaissance painter (and abduction victim) Artemisia Gentileschi. In the vengefully ablaze “Judith Beheading Holofernes”, Gentileschi depicts her aggressor as the Assyrian general, herself as the biblical charlatan slashing his throat: a #MeToo icon. In June, the Royal Academy’s Angelica Kauffman stars a portraitist who fought 18th-century blowing advantage to coin a career that accomplished from Britain to Russia. In museums above the world, the cutting actuation in the 2020s will be added representation of women. Choir that a decade ago were bounded and marginalised are now boilerplate and global. It is an animating archetype shift, but not straightforward. Change is complex; the best art does not necessarily bark the loudest. There are pitfalls back gender is admired over talent: the Civic Portrait Arcade in London’s anemic Pre-Raphaelite Sisters exhibition is a case in point. And those who actuate what art is shown, seen, bought — curators, gallerists, audiences, collectors — accept more deviating demands. The bazaar is adamant on gender. The amount allotment at bargain of art fabricated by women in the aftermost decade? Two per cent. Of the hundred best big-ticket works anytime sold, none is by a woman. In 2018-19, the almanac set for a active blowing artisan was £71m — Jeff Koons’ “Rabbit” — against £9.5m for a woman, Jenny Saville’s nude “Propped”.“Female artists are the bargains of our time,” says banker Iwan Wirth. Lower prices action windows of opportunity, sure, but the economics is brutal. In 2007, Broadway 1602, a Manhattan arcade absorption on alone 1960s-70s names such as the pop painters Evelyne Axell and Marjorie Strider, showed the rarer aptitude of Alina Szapocznikow, a Holocaust survivor and blight dead whose aflame adhesive sculptures harrowingly advertence illness. At Frieze in 2011, Tate bought “Tumour” from the arcade — at a discount. Aftermost year, Broadway 1602 declared bankruptcy.Szapocznikow, its best admirable discovery, is now represented by the able Hauser & Wirth; a London appearance in February promises to be a 2020 highlight. The artist, who co-opted minimalism and pop “to acclaim the ephemeral” admitting accurate materiality, exemplifies an outstanding abstruse aptitude now accomplishing recognition. But the amount is generally borne by beginning spaces disturbing to burrow beginning work.
Daily Art of the Day, Thursday May 6, 6 ORIGINAL .. | abstract painting 2010 A few midsize bartering galleries accept apparent commitment. Victoria Miro’s Mayfair amplitude opens 2020 with an agilely advancing aboriginal UK appearance of the Romanian-American Hedda Sterne’s bendable burghal abstractions, ambiguous automated forms and backward white-on-white drawings, evoking the floaters and flashers bridge her eyes in old age; Sterne died in 2011 age-old 100.The all-around actualization of the acutely old woman artisan is a accurate 21st-century celebration — the luck of analysis advancing with amusing change. Still alive are Carmen Herrera, 104; Etel Adnan, 94; Jagoda Buić, 89. Richard Saltoun’s 2019 Frieze presentation of Buic’s bolt awash out in a day, including a Tate acquisition. But the acumen for this rediscovery of old-age artists is mid-career neglect. Today’s big blank at institutional akin is women in their 50s and 60s. 2019’s anxious abate exhibitions showcased several superb talents who accept lacked above building exposure. At Victoria Miro this winter, we saw painterly chronicles of interiority by the 60-year-old Celia Paul. Earlier in the year, Leicester’s Attenborough Arts Centre had Lucy Jones, 64, assuming angry Fauvist landscapes and cruel-tender self-portraits that almanac what it’s like to alive with bookish palsy. At London’s Bowman Sculpture, Emily Young, 68, is currently announcement mesmerising, unfinished-looking carved bean active that brood on our accord with the Earth, time and ecological change.A arch painter from the hardly adolescent YBA bearing is Cecily Brown, 50, whose feverish, adult canvases reprise and alter abstruse expressionist blowing language, accumulation accepted imagery. Yet back 2005’s bunched affectation at Modern Art Oxford, there has been no building exhibition of her paintings in the UK.Perhaps ironically, the bazaar and clandestine galleries can be saviours for important women artists who abatement below the alarm of today’s identity-and-gender agendas. Brown’s bargain almanac is £4.9m. And booty the top women at bargain in 2018-19: Yayoi Kusama, Joan Mitchell, Louise Bourgeois, Georgia O’Keeffe and Agnes Martin, in bottomward order.Four accept enjoyed accomplished Tate retrospectives, cartoon out the feminist aspects of their work. But Mitchell, the greatest 20th-century changeable painter, has never had an exhibition at a above European museum.
6 - 'Open Cage', an abstract painting, watercolor on pa .. | abstract painting 2010 Although she battled bigotry throughout her career, Mitchell’s art — an absolute cheeky argot of transience, slippage, gestural abandon — makes no apparent feminist argument, so fails to fit accessible arcade curatorial politics. “When I allocution about love, I don’t beggarly admiring a boyfriend. I beggarly admiring a tree,” the artisan already said. The all-embracing appearance of her “Cypress” and “Two Sunflowers” at Paris’s Fondation Louis Vuitton was admirable and packed.Footfall proves that audiences appetite beauty, characteristic achievement, arresting voices. Tate’s best accepted shows in 2019 were Van Gogh (422,000 visitors), Pierre Bonnard (248,000) and Don McCullin (175,000). By contrast, Dorothea Tanning (115,000) and Natalia Goncharova (89,000) were disappointments. Although Tanning lived long, she alone produced absorbing assignment — crisp, surrealist compositions — for a decade; too abundant of her attendant comprised blowsy, backward semi-abstractions. Goncharova, accessory and derivative, captivated up yet worse at abounding stretch. The ballsy anatomy of the attendant atrociously exposes those artists who did not sustain long, evolving careers — generally women, for amusing reasons.“There are acceptable artists who accept children . . . they are alleged men,” Tracey Emin has said.Tate administrator Maria Balshaw told me: “I don’t strive for shows 50 per cent by women because that’s a feminist gesture, but because we appetite to accredit to the apple we alive in.” That is incontestable, and advantage knows women in art charcoal a assignment in progress. Ernst Gombrich’s The Story of Art, the acknowledged and best affecting art history anytime written, aboriginal appear in 1950 and now in its 16th edition, contains aloof one changeable artist: Käthe Kollwitz. How crazily this sits with today’s institutional shifts, decidedly in the UK. Following new accessories in the aftermost few years, four out of bristles Tate admiral are now women. In bounce 2020, for the aboriginal time all four Tate galleries will host women abandoned shows: Berlin-based Candice Breitz’s video accession about refugees (Tate Liverpool); Zanele Muholi, who photographs South Africa’s LGBTQ association (Tate Modern); Korean accession artisan Haegue Yang, who explores “non-binary aesthetic languages” (Tate St Ives); and the atramentous British allegorical painter Lynette Yiadom-Boakye (Tate Britain).
Abstract Painting | Abstract art, Pink art, Art photography - abstract painting 2010 | abstract painting 2010 Topical themes? Tick. Racial, ual, geographic, media diversity? Tick. But what about the abounding ambit of art, above political and feminist agendas? The Venice Biennale of 2019 embodied these tensions. Magnificently, the alien 35-year-old Lithuanian artisan Lina Lapelyte took the Golden Lion for her lyrical, inclusive, aboriginal achievement accession “Sun and Sea (Marina)” about altitude change, co-created with the administrator Rugile Barzdziukaite and the biographer Vaiva Grainyte. But in an overwhelmingly feminised biennale, abounding civic representations by women were black contest in political correctness. For Britain, Cathy Wilkes offered decrepit dolls, a hectoring eyes of calm austerity; for Austria, Renate Bertelmann presented awkward knifepoint vulva-flowers — 1970s adverse feminism. In Phaidon’s Abundant Women Artists, appear in 2019 in acknowledgment to Nochlin’s catechism and featuring 400 names, editor Rebecca Morrill argues that “greatness is not inherent to art itself”.She suggests that we “let go of any attenuated atypical analogue of greatness . . . embrace every forgotten, disregarded or undervalued artist . . . until equality, above all institutions, has assuredly been reached”.Equality over affection agency mediocrity. Krasner insisted: “I am an artist, not a woman artist.” From Krasner to Lapelyte, the best arresting artists are capricious and charge no appropriate pleading. If in the abutting decades we artlessly appearance the best art — irrespective of gender or character backroom — Nochlin’s catechism will become obsolete.Follow @FTLifeArts on Twitter to acquisition out about our latest belief first. Week-End Update: Mother's Day 2017 Edition
Let’s start this post out with a Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who has ever been a mom, regardless of whether their babies have been human or other animal. This should be a day of fond reflection for all moms, everyone who’s been lucky enough to have a great mom and those of us who miss our mothers dearly. It’s been a great week for the mother’s among us as 3 of our mommas were adopted this week: Guess (mom to the designer litter), Samantha (mom to Sammy & Kitt FKA Sarah) & Anna Lee all found the perfect place to call home. Guess’s pup Valentino (now Ricky) is in heaven being part of a family with a lot of kids! Mae’s (now Minka) foster family realized she fit in just perfectly and decided to make it permanent so we’re pretty sure she’ll crop up in some pics & videos with future foster pups. Cherry, Kellsie, Sookie, Sydney, Terk (now Chip) & Wolf also found the perfect families for them!

“Just wanted to let you guys know Samwise is doing fantastic! Everybody loves him and he seems pretty happy too :)”
Kasie
“Kasie seems to be adjusting pretty well. She stays in her cage all night and starts barking around 6:30 to go out. I leave for work at 7AM so my husband is with her all day.
As far as I know, we are keeping her name the same. Although one of my sons said we should change it to ABBI as the first initial of our grand children’s names.”
Maverick FKA Legend

“Maverick (legend) is doing so great ! We love this boy so much. He has already gained 3lbs and counting. We took a visit to the vet and have started one on one training classes.
Maverick can now sit, lay down, give a paw and is learning touch. He loves playing outside, laying in the sun and getting belly rubs. He also loves to bite everything he can get his mouth on.
We have met some new doggie friends and Maverick can’t wait to be as big as them!”

Bella is well and has her own Facebook page. She visits your Facebook page often and I believe you and your staff can see pictures of Belles.”

“Hi TLC Rescue!
Finally getting around to sending some pictures and an update on Gatsby. Sorry for the delay. We had a heck of a time transferring files from the phone to the computer for upload. Along those lines, I’ll send a couple videos in a separate email in case they don’t go through.
So…we’re coming up on five months now with Gatsby and my goodness has she come a long way. 🙂
She was so shy and timid when we first brought her home. Happy, but timid. She would rarely agree to go for walks around the neighborhood, was afraid of just about any noise, etc. She still had fun, and of course we still loved having her around, but she took some real TLC to come out of her shell. And wow, did she ever come out! Some changes…
– We spent hours and hours coaxing her to leave the driveway and be comfortable going for a walk. Now, she can’t wait to get out into the neighborhood to say hi to her friends every morning. There’s Oliver, who stops by around 7:30. Eva, who we usually see at her place around 7:00 (pic enclosed, video coming in a separate email). And other “acquaintances” who she’s always happy to see. Then at 8:30 we leave for her “job”…walking the kids down to the bus stop. WHICH SHE LOVES! She’s so proud…tail straight up and wagging, checking to make sure the entire pack is together, and saying hi to everyone. She’s a tremendous hit and she loves all the attention.
– We used to have to pick her up to get her in the car. Now, she jumps right in. I take her most mornings, early, to the park down the street where we hunt for stray baseballs left behind from games the night before. So far we’ve collected more than 50! We go for a nice run there and some games of fetch before going back home for breakfast and “play dates” with Oliver and Eva. Oh, and trips to the dog park. She loves those!
– She used to be TERRIFIED of garbage cans. Now, she barks at them. Even plays with them. Sure sign of growing confidence. 😉
Those are just a few examples. The difference between her then and now is really staggering. She’s just loving life and all the attention she’s getting, the comfy places to sleep, the friends, the great food…everything. She’s such a joy and we can’t imagine what it was like not to have her around. It’s hard to remember life before she got here. It really is.
Some pictures are enclosed. As you can see, she’s equally happy going for a run as she is taking a nap, and striking one of her amazing sleeping poses. Still can’t figure out how she gets into those positions, or finds them comfortable, but she does.
So…thank you so much TLC. Gatsby has become a true and cherished member of the family. And we look forward to more fun times in the years ahead.”
Kentucky aka Tuck
Tuck aka Kentucky
“Tuck is absolutely wonderful and we are more in love with this girl every day! We feel that she has completely acclimated to our family and is very comfortable with us as we are with her. She is incredibly well behaved and guests in our home always love her! I don’t think a day goes by that one of us doesn’t say again how lucky we are to have her! She is loved to pieces!!! 😊
I attached a photo I just took last night…enjoy!”
Mac FKA Versace (Guess’s pup)
Mac FKA Versace
“Everything is going well. We changed his name to Mac. He is learning so much and has adjusted extremely well. I’ll be sure to keep you all updated. Many thanks, especially to Tracey for all her dedication. Mac has his vet appointment next Thursday for rabies shot and check up. This picture was taken while the baby cried, music played and the toddler danced-Mr. Bullet Proof.”

“We wanted to give you an update on Dayla (now Zoey). She’s been with us for almost 2 months and she’s become a wonderful part of our family. She still has some puppy energy, but it comes in bursts in between lots of cozy naps. She is loving and friendly and we’re so glad she’s with us! Also, thank you for giving us the chance to meet with her a few times before we adopted her so we could see if our son (who is allergic) had a reaction. Everything has been fine–no reactions at all. Thanks for bringing Zoey into our family!”
Stiles

“These past 6 months have flown by, yet feels like Stiles has been with us forever. He is adjusting wonderfully and I truly cannot imagine our lives without him. He is the sweetest boy EVER!!
He is most definitely a hound – our boy loves to hunt!! He sees a squirrel or a rabbit and he’s off to the races – lol.
I have attached a few pictures so you can see how big he’s gotten – all 52lbs of him!! :)”
Jax FKA Spuddy
#gallery-6 margin: auto; #gallery-6 .gallery-item float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; #gallery-6 img border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; #gallery-6 .gallery-caption margin-left: 0; /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
“Almost 2 months since we welcomed Jax home.
Jax is such a good boy and so eager to please. He has learned so many commands; we couldn’t be more proud. We love that he so puppy like and is so curious about everything. He follows his “mommy” everywhere, adores his human and doggie siblings and gives everyone he meets kisses. Out hearts are so full and happy! Thanks for bringing this love into our life.”
