- leaning her head against your shoulder when sitting together. both of you going to your local cafe / bookstore. lucy reading while you drink your coffee

- probably because reader isn’t used to so much affection and love that when going out with lucy holding hands and kissing in public, reader needs some time to get used to it

- don’t get me wrong, you love it but it’s like something you need onto get used to (touch starved perhaps??)

- reader is still in college

- lucy helping reader with their assignments. if it’s based off books that lucy has read, reader will go to lucy

- they share a vocabulary together. adopts words the other has said

- you and lucy love to bond over the books you two have read. you often swap books. buying books in the store for the two of you, knowing you’ll both end up reading it

- you both have a combined bookshelf. your books are lucy’s, lucys are yours. you share them all at this point

- both if you are apart of a bookclub. one that was promoted in your campus. bringing lucy along, you go there once every two weeks on a friday evening.

- it’s hosted at a new persons house every time, can imagine it being hosted at your shared house.

- both of you making sure to welcome the club members and proudly showing off your bookshelves

- reader has definitely written some story’s before that haven’t seen the light of day unfortunately. only person who’s read them are lucy

- you love to help lucy with song writing. you see it as a poetic way to write a story. lucy will slide her sheet over for you to read. you won’t change anything, other than tweak a few words / a sentence here and there

- “i can see the story here. i like it”

- you both like to go in dates to a bookstore, one has their eyes closed and hand running down the selection of books until the other says stop. whatever their hand lands on is the book they get

- people watching. reader loved to people watch and create stories for the people walking by. lucy loves to hear them, how your brain is able to come up with interesting backgrounds for each person walking by

- you have a goodreads and only follow lucy. people try to friend you but you decline. keeping the streak of having lucy only

- both of you reading the same books and finishing them at the same time (people think it’s so cute)

ONE SHOT - lucy x reader - the last book on the shelf.

“let me get that” you looked to your side to see a woman with long brown hair, reaching forward to grab the book you tried to take.

“for me?” you felt a small blush creep up onto your cheeks. the woman nodded her head, passing the book back to you.

“of course. you have good taste in books. that one has been on my ‘to read’ list for a while. i’m lucy” the woman now called lucy held out her hand for you to shake. you politely shook her hand and said introduced yourself back.

“i’m afraid this is the last book on the shelf..” you frowned. it was also on your ‘to read list’ you watched as lucy nodded, eyes shining a small bit of disappointment. you made an impulse decision and shoved the book into lucy’s hands.

“you can take it, i don’t mind! - i can just order it online or something” lucy stood there for a moment in shock.

“we could take turns? i would feel bad since you found it first- here” lucy gave you back the book and took her phone out. “i can give you my contact number? when you’re finished reading you can give it to me. sound fair? we both get to read it at the end of the day” it did sound fair to you. yet the feeling of guilt set upon your stomach again, knowing you were the one to leave with the book today and not lucy.

you opened your phone, giving it to lucy as she typed in her contact. in front of you, the words ‘Lucy 💗’ was staring back at you, making you smile.

“i still feel bad”

“there’s no need to. i promise. consider it like.. co parenting a child, but it’s a book” this had both of you laughing. lucy following you up to the cash register, her own book in hand, waiting to check out after you.

“how about we go for a coffee? i got some time to kill.. only if you want to” she offered, nervously switching to put weight on the other foot. you shoved the now bought book

into your bag, grinning up at the other.

“i’d like that. i’ll pay. in return for taking the book”

“fine by me. lets get out of here” the taller woman walked out first, holding the door open for you.

Could we get lucy x introverted reader? Maybe she’s really anxious and only the boys (mostly lucy) can get her out of her shell and that’s how they get together . I just feel like she’s so down to earth and loving she’d be so helpful in getting reader out of her shell and doing things she may not be able to do by herself!

HC - Lucy x introverted reader

- being friends with the boys has its ups and downs. most if not all were pretty extraverted and outgoing whilst you preferred to be in the shadows and more calmer as an introvert

- you preferred to watch rather than do. watch the boys jam out to a song on the karaoke machine. as much as you wanted to join in deep down, your head convinced you to not. not wanting to be judged by the eyes all around you.

- you loved to go out with each of the boys however. but lucy was one of the boys who understood you the most

- while going out with phoebe means going from one place to another quite quickly , lucy likes to take things slow.

- a perfect day out would consist of book shopping popping into your favourite bookstore and stocking up on books to read over the next few months.

- quiet conversation between the two of you as you giggle to each other, showing off the books you find on the shelf

- lucy and you going to a cafe for lunch. a small quiet cafe that has not a lot of people in there is just perfect

- you get quite anxious sitting in cafes. growing anxious and nervous when all the eyes land on you walking in the door. you always end up getting the coffee to go instead of sitting down and enjoying the scenery

- it definitely had a vibe to it. lucy’s hand intertwined with yours as she smiled down at you reassuringly. both of you can sit and relax down here for a bit.

- in the line waiting to be served, lucy asks you what do you want? you order an iced coffee with a slice of cake.

- lucy orders both orders and leads you to sit in a corner table away from everyone

- lucy taking out her bag full of books and hands some over to you to look at

- both of you would do this once a week. if not get books then to just simply enjoy the sunny day at the shop. it became a regular for the both of you

- lucy asked if you’d like to go an art museum with her one day as a date perhaps - you say yes

- lucy is kinda shocked how you said yes, didn’t think you would. you didn’t think she would ever ask you out either

- museum dates, art museum dates, bookshop dates

- your favourite was visiting a cafe that was also also a bookshop and a flower shop. as cliche as it sounded it was beautiful. lucy buying a bouquet of flowers for your house

- lucy big spoon you little spoon 100%

- laying in bed, head on her arm as she plays with your hair with one hand and reads out loud to you in the other.

- falls asleep in her arms not even 10 minutes later

- you feel a bit more confident when out with lucy. enough to order both of your foods and drinks in the coffee shops

- you love to sit across from each other, lucy in her own little world reading where she left off. you love to doodle in your notebook, often doodling images of lucy

- you’re always shy when you give them to her. she’s always so happy, either framing it or putting it on her desk

- youre a polaroid type of person. you love to take polaroids

- lucy has a polaroid of you and her together in her wallet

- your camera role is filled with photos of you and her together. you’re the type of person who wants to capture the moments

- you always take candid photos of lucy. you’d rather be the one to capture the photos than be in them. you like keeping the memories close
