#Latergram (Swipe 👈🏽 to see results!) I played @marylandlive $150 Double green chip bounty tournament on 3/27/2017 and qualified as a finalist with the top 5-players left. I kept grinding all the way to the final five were left and everybody agreed to an ICM chop! My chip equity according to ICM was $768 which I agreed to accept. I also earned 3-bounties for a total of $150 in addition to my final prize amount. Therefore, two back-to back weeks I capitalized in two consecutive tournaments: 1st for $1,191 & then for $918 the second week. #Flashbackfriday Here's a recap of my #instasnapstory from cashing in this poker tournament as it happened in real time! It was a very exciting experience that I truly enjoyed so much, except for not winning 1st place. After this tournament, I went back the following Monday on March 27th and played it again and guess what? I made the final table again. #throwbackthursday These poker tournaments are not easy to cash, yet very difficult to accomplish winning it all. That's bcuz there're so many entrants which makes it super competitive. I was happy to dominate this one all the way until heads up where pocket 10's lose to a pair of 7's when villain hits another 7 to devastate my chip stack with trips! I almost won my first Holdem tourney but fell short. I gotta say it does require great poker skills to win but luck as well. You gotta make the right decisions and know when to make a move and how to bluff at the correct times, also utilize ur position well. I've only played in 10-tournaments and I've cashed in 4 out of ten. It seems I have more success in tournaments than cash games. #FlashbackFriday #FBF Although I lost in the poker tournament, I still managed to turn a profit by crushing the Craps table for $180 and hitting on one of my favorite slot machines for $500plus. What I realize about gambling is that it's difficult to win at first. You must either go down and lose at times before you could win it all back! I think my net profit on this particular trip was $350, but I came close to almost losing roughly $500; if it wasn't for this lucky slot machine, I'd have loss big-time! Honestly, I'm really against playing machines bcuz I know for a fact that's how casinos make 2/3 of their revenues, which is always best to avoid them. But sometimes I get lucky on them, I much rather play table games bcuz understand them so well. Really and truly, gambling consists of just being lucky! Although the house has the edge in every possible way, ppl do tend to get lucky ever now and then. #luckyatlive (at Maryland Live! Casino)
