Bless this person who decided to clean out their garage and put this tub of miscellaneous screws next to the dumpster instead of in it.

I'll have to pick through it because some of them are obviously stripped, but there's definitely enough here to both finish building both my wildlife exclusion structure for the rear raised garden beds as well as slapping together some cold frame panels from my scavenged windows. This is fantastic.

#the squirrels and rats and opossums and raccoons and groundhog got all of the tomatoes and tomatillos and peppers from those beds this year #because i ran out of screws halfway through building the structure designed to prevent that #and it would be nice to have a cold frame that i can set up and knock down simply every year instead of scrambling #luckily my new front bed (which is doing spectacular) could mostly be built with nails #going to have to hold off on the scavenged items greenhouse for a bit #not only do i need screws but i need lumber for a frame - all the stuff i have is too short #scavenging #garden construction projects #i suspect the screws were set out for the metal scrappers but finders keepers
