(Pre- Dangervest Mode events, Android/Lucille talking)

(A small Wyldrex/RoboSpark drabble... ficlet... that I did...?)

"I know that you don't like to talk about your past, my dearest darling, but may I know why is your surname Wyldstyle?"

"Huh?-"

"I understand that you disliked your full name, but you had a certain attachment to the nickname of Lucy. So then, you changed your name to Lucille, thanks to Emmet and I. So... may I know the origins of Wyldstyle?"

"Oh... Rex, well..."

"You don't have to talk about it, if you do not want to. I apologize if I made you uncomfortable."

"No, no, it's okay... sooner or later, you would ask about that. Well..."

She clears her throat, now nuzzling onto her partners arms, sighing, getting held by him.

"It isn't my surname, though. When... I was younger, and part of the rebellion, I wanted to make sure no one recognized me at all. I didn't want to seem like people could get to me emotionally."

Rex held her close.

"I didn't want to appear weak. Because... if I showed that I was vulnerable in anyway... it would be over for me. And I lost so much already. So... most obvious choice was to change my name to something cooler. More menacing."

"... How did you came up with Wyldstyle, then?"

Lucy chuckles.

"When I was still the popstar everyone knew thanks to Bussiness, my friends called me "Wild Thing" for how I acted back then. That I was a passionate musician, they said. And the Style came thanks to the masterbuilders..."

"So, I thought, "maybe Wyldstyle will suit me. Yeah. That's cool." And... I thought it was. But now? It's... complicated. I don't hate it, necessarily. It's who I was for years, of course. I'm just... not that person anymore. I'm changed. I like to think that I am."

Android could get that feeling so well... even if his memories are mixed and still somewhat fuzzy.

"So I'm just... I dunno. Wyldstyle is a good nickname. Even if it's related to my darkest years of pain and my heart breaking. I just... can't think of anything else."

Android hums, giving his partner a kiss on her hair, which made Lucy sigh.

"Sorry. I know it's dumb."

"I never said that it was. I can get that feeling all too well. Don't feel ashamed for your feelings. They have to be feelin' it."

She laughed, softly.

"You do?"

Android does a thumbs up in affirmation.

"Dangervest is not... a name that I'm very fond of. There's nothing wrong with it. I guess that I had my reasons to get that name. But it doesn't feel like me. Like... the actual me."

"But do you like to be called that way?"

"I don't really mind it. But it doesn't feel like it fits me. I'm anything but dangerous. Yet... it has good memories in it. I can feel it."

Lucille can get that. Wyldstyle had good memories too. She just felt disconnected from it and from who she was.

"Either way... it doesn't matter who you were with that name. People change all of the time. We learn that the good or the bad way and... it stays with us. But for now, what matters the most is that we feel good with who we are."

"Even if we don't know who we are?"

"Affirmative. Even in these situations, it's important. So... could I think about some nicknames to try them out instesd of Wyldstyle, babe?"

"Oh? Sure! What do you have in mind?"

"... what about WyldSpark?"

Lucille stares at him. Her cheeks are burning. And she's both confused and so in love. It wasn't Wyldstyle. But it didn't sound bad.

" ... I would like that."
