very affirming thing that happened recently is that, i was speaking w a classmate and i dont remember how but i ended up explaining to her about what foods is forbidden in judaism outside of well - pork - and she said something along the lines of 'you [vous] have a lot of restriction' which !! made me very happy, she knows i'm not jewish but she knows i want to convert and honestly i think it was a tongue slip-up but doesn't matter to me !! also she listened to me and grr i love talking abt judaism all, i explained to her the concept of 'hell' in it and she listened very well and asked questions about it !! and compared to the version of hell she knows (from christianity and grec/nordic mythology) and it was a very fun conversation !! ++ i rediscovered an old french jewish film that i watched when i was a kid (it was quite popular iirc!) and i'm thinking of rewatching it!! also learnt that its based on comics? so i may try to look for them at my local library
