August coming back idk…but instead of becoming a part of DM's group or inference's he ends up working for the qilin of the east… He's the one who helps advertise or whateva but is also their "eyes" around chinatown…

While everyone is definitely wary of the new guy, they also know the basics of how he was found: he was in front of the qilin businessmen's doorstep during a rainy day

Those who were there to spot him described him as a pathetic sight, so gradually distrust towards him died down because they saw him to be harmless. Paired with the fact that now that he was working for the qilin of the east, he is also under their protection. Lady Truth and Crimson are the first to interact with him but have no idea of his connection to paraluca.. Maybe mr inference has a case around chinatown that he can only accomplish by getting info from wuchang…so he heads over with paraluca and white (with lady truth being a part of the ruckus with crimson back then it could potentially botch the case)

i cant decide if i want august to be their server so he meets them immediately or they ALSO cause a ruckus and wuchang send august over to report what the hell happened

But in the end august is faced with paraluca once more…and august doesnt know what to do, overwhelmed by emotions. So august latches on to the only "safe" thing his mind can comprehend right now: his job as the qilin of the east's assistant

He doesnt know how to face paraluca so he. doesnt. Not until he's finished his job. Let him finish his job and then…let whatever happens be the problem of future august.
