I got this Roland TR-505 cheap, but the battery power didn’t work. I thought it was corrosion so I opened it up to clean out the compartment. It turned out the wires were not connected to the battery power at all😂. I soldered the loose wires back on, and it works now. I like the TR-505. @roland_us Roland Sp-404a is a great sampler to come up with ideas for rhythms. I started working with samplers in 1993. I cut my teeth on Kurzweil and Akai. The cool aspects to the Sp404a is the sound, fx, pads, portability(I come up with ideas sitting on my couch), UI, SD card, software, and it’s just fun to play with. As a composer/songwriter ideas come to me in all different ways.
