im SO FUCKING STUPID i messaged a path like 'hey u want me to take a picture of this specimen??' and he said yes and then i proceeded to cut it up without taking a picture. like bro ur the one who offered 😭😭😭

#it was to estimate % of cyst wall covered w/ lesions #because under 10% is considered cystadenoma w proliferative features and over 10 is now a borderline malignancy #and im rlly bad at estimating so it looked right about 10% so i was gonna photo it so other ppl could decide #and then i just didnt #lowkey hoping its frankly malignant so i dont have to worry about the 10% cutoff #its Fucked but in pathology u always hope something is obviously malignant because its so much easier to diagnose asjkdsajidsajiads
