New Vegas released with such ambition and innovation and brilliance, but also broken as fuck. Then, when the people in charge tried to fix it, they somehow broke it more, eventually giving up and leaving it behind. With time, it broke down more and more as things changed, and the only way it works anymore is with extensive modification to fix what was broken to begin with, what was broken by attempts to fix it, what was broken by age, and what was never put together in the first place because it never wasn’t given a chance to grow and develop. No wonder trans girls love it.

yes his arm is amputated! the reason why differs by what universe i pop him into (he's originally a fallout new vegas oc lol)

his name is Ricky! in new vegas he's a companion character to my Courier Lao, and an engineer who wandered the mojave as a sort of general handyman. they end up traveling together because they both have a wandering spirit, t4t love blooms etc.

he's an anarchist who learned most of his skills from the followers of the apocalypse in his youth, and a strong supporter of the Yes Man ending; but he doesn't get along too well with Arcade since he thinks he's kind of lame. he helps push Lao in the right direction to help communities over single-mindedly pursuing his revenge against Benny, and keeps him grounded when he has migraines

when i feel like giving him a break from fallout horrors i put him in a modern AU where he's an engineering student and Lao's roommate lol
