This is 💯 my truth. Now, most of my "life" changes have been positive ones. Despite probably experiencing death more than the average person, it was Mom's departure that made it instantly clear to me in the biggest way that we are not here in these bodies forever. It gave me the courage to finally let go of relationships, ideas and beliefs that no longer worked or fit, and helped me see that I wanted to be HAPPY and care less about all of those pesky worries about what all of you might think of me. This, of course, was not immediate. In my pain, I stumbled around, barely existing for a good few years. Although we may want nothing more at the time, we cannot let ourselves die when they die.
