LOL, I love that Buck is a little insane, it makes him oh so relatable to me. 😂

I don't know if escalation is really the right word because hurting other people has been a risk for Buck this entire time. But I think the reason we haven't seen that happen until now is because of the escalating nature of emotional issues - first you hurt yourself with them and, as they grow, you start to hurt and push away others. Also, Buck's relationships are playing a more prominent role this season than they've played in other seasons, so it makes sense that we're getting more into the effects his actions have on other people for that reason.

But yeah, I think it's a big old metaphor for abandonment issues. Buck is afraid to face what he feels for Eddie head on because he's afraid of being left, so his coping mechanisms come out and Eddie gets hurt because of them. Tommy should have been a bit more critical of Buck there (though I obviously understand why he wasn't - he was crushing on him and also injuries in sports, especially men's sports, are fairly common). I think the reason we never saw the apology is because Buck's apology, in a narrative sense, is going to occur when he finally confronts and admits how he feels about Eddie to Eddie, rather than trying to hurt himself for attention. So, the "apology" technically hasn't happened yet, that conflict is still ongoing. I also think that, because Tommy and Eddie are parallel characters, much like Eddie got hurt physically because of Buck's inability to admit to what he's feeling, Tommy is likely going to get hurt emotionally for the same reason, once he realizes that Buck is dating him because he's afraid to go after Eddie.

Anyway, I love mess and I love that Buck is kind of a messy person in general. And I hope that even if he doesn't handle things perfectly, people are still willing to stick with the story. I think it's much more interesting this way.

Hi, hello! :) I enjoy your Black family thoughts and so I have a question. How do you think the Blacks would react if one of their children were bitten by a werewolf at a young age? Quietly get rid of the child and never talk about them as if they never existed, or pretend they died during the attack? Keep the child's condition a secret to avoid suspicion, homeschool them and keep them locked up in a cellar during full moons? Teach the child to embrace the curse and use them as leverage (à la Draco Malfoy threatening Borgin - ‘You know Fenrir Greyback? He’s a family friend, he’ll be dropping in from time to time to make sure you’re giving the problem your full attention.’)?

I really want to make a giant family tree for the Wizarding World, but they’re all so interrelated I really don’t think I’d be able to fit it together. There is no room for all the families

Anon trying to map the wizarding world's family circle will lead you to frustration (trust me I know).

Also, the maths on how many wizards there are literally makes no sense considering they somehow support an entire economy. By JKR's numbers there shouldn't be enough wizards to even sustain the quidditch league let alone shops/industry/ a school etc.

I think, as a fandom, we should collectively agree on numbers and timelines (and make a shared pdf) as we have put far more thought into it.

ok, i got this ask ten days ago, and I've been thinking about it ever since. Because I got two other asks asking for fiddauthor, and I dON'T KNOW HOW TO LET THEM DOWN LIGHTLY BECAUSE I'M A FIDDLESTAN BITCH THROUGH AND THROUGH 😭😭😭😭 I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, fiddauthor is great and makes sense and everything. But listen. Billford and fiddauthor are multidimensional ships, they are good! But FIDDLESTAN!?!? that shit is the WHAT-THE-HECK-A-HEDRON!!!!!!! Even though it's literally 100% speculation, the implications are FUCKING CRAZY!!!!!!!!! I jumped between three ships so far during this gravity falls thing, each time thinking one is better than the other. I've decided that FIDDLESTAN IS KING!!!!!! I'm sorry. I could rant about them forever. I've been listening to nothing but extended versions of disco music for the past week. (YES THEY HAD A CRAZY ROMANTIC FLING IN VEGAS NO I WILL NOT ELABORATE!!!! First off, thank you so much! I'm really touched by the responses to my stories that came along my way in the last couple of weeks. 💜 I did not think that someone would notice me with all these awesome writers on here. 🥹

To answer your question: My inspiration comes from many different places. From a song, a scene out of a book or a movie/tv show. But mostly from my heart. Especially if I reeeeaaaally love a character and I want to give him something that he could never have.

What I love to do most, is to spin his canon story into something new. Whenever you ad a reader type situation, because we all just want to be with him, (in my case Jensen and his characters) the whole situation changes. And I love to think about the "what if's". There are so many possibilitys, so many scenarios and I would love to write them all down. 🥹
