Now to your question: I totally get the feeling, believe me. It's like being the new kid in the classroom. You don't know what the rules are and you don't want to "force" yourself onto people. But you still want to connect.

And yes, I met lovely people on here, which I'm thankful for, but in a way I'm still the new kid. 🙈 There are certainly times in which I still feel left out in a way. They've already known eachother before, but that's totally okay! You just have to find your place in all of it. 🙂

So, the only advise I can give to you is to comment on the stories you really liked. Give feedback in whatever kind of way. It can lead to conversations and interactions with others. That's how I did it. Aaaaand... we can be friends too if you want. 😉

LOL, I love that Buck is a little insane, it makes him oh so relatable to me. 😂

I don't know if escalation is really the right word because hurting other people has been a risk for Buck this entire time. But I think the reason we haven't seen that happen until now is because of the escalating nature of emotional issues - first you hurt yourself with them and, as they grow, you start to hurt and push away others. Also, Buck's relationships are playing a more prominent role this season than they've played in other seasons, so it makes sense that we're getting more into the effects his actions have on other people for that reason.

But yeah, I think it's a big old metaphor for abandonment issues. Buck is afraid to face what he feels for Eddie head on because he's afraid of being left, so his coping mechanisms come out and Eddie gets hurt because of them. Tommy should have been a bit more critical of Buck there (though I obviously understand why he wasn't - he was crushing on him and also injuries in sports, especially men's sports, are fairly common). I think the reason we never saw the apology is because Buck's apology, in a narrative sense, is going to occur when he finally confronts and admits how he feels about Eddie to Eddie, rather than trying to hurt himself for attention. So, the "apology" technically hasn't happened yet, that conflict is still ongoing. I also think that, because Tommy and Eddie are parallel characters, much like Eddie got hurt physically because of Buck's inability to admit to what he's feeling, Tommy is likely going to get hurt emotionally for the same reason, once he realizes that Buck is dating him because he's afraid to go after Eddie.

Anyway, I love mess and I love that Buck is kind of a messy person in general. And I hope that even if he doesn't handle things perfectly, people are still willing to stick with the story. I think it's much more interesting this way.

Now to your question: Yes, there is no part 2 planned. I was in a weird mood lately and I needed to express it. I normally don't like to write stories that doesn't have an happy ending, but sometimes it just is what it is. Not every day is all sunshine and rainbows.

But you're not the first one that was asking for a second part to this. I actually did not think some people would want a second part. And... I mean nothing is impossible. If more people would like another chapter I would think about it again. 😊

ok, i got this ask ten days ago, and I've been thinking about it ever since. Because I got two other asks asking for fiddauthor, and I dON'T KNOW HOW TO LET THEM DOWN LIGHTLY BECAUSE I'M A FIDDLESTAN BITCH THROUGH AND THROUGH 😭😭😭😭 I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!!!

Don't get me wrong, fiddauthor is great and makes sense and everything. But listen. Billford and fiddauthor are multidimensional ships, they are good! But FIDDLESTAN!?!? that shit is the WHAT-THE-HECK-A-HEDRON!!!!!!! Even though it's literally 100% speculation, the implications are FUCKING CRAZY!!!!!!!!! I jumped between three ships so far during this gravity falls thing, each time thinking one is better than the other. I've decided that FIDDLESTAN IS KING!!!!!! I'm sorry. I could rant about them forever. I've been listening to nothing but extended versions of disco music for the past week. (YES THEY HAD A CRAZY ROMANTIC FLING IN VEGAS NO I WILL NOT ELABORATE!!!! (yes i will. I will elaborate at some point. it will be like ten pages or text. or I will draw it. idk.))
