A Mile in my Shoes

The wind crisp air brushes against my cheek. The sound of scurrying from small animals running through the forest. From a distance, you can hear the trickling of water flowing through a nearby creek. I stepped on the wet stones as I hopped carefully over to the other side. This is where I can get a lot of my thinking done, how do you suppose I say this? What does the next new year hold? Will it be something better than this year? Will I not lose so many people all at once? Will I survive the next semester? Will I ever find the love of my life? It’s all these ‘What if’s’ playing through my head. When do I get to pick and choose? The thinking stops as a truck roars by on a nearby road, the sun is shining down on me on this cool, winter’s day.

Africa will have to wait.... I am happy to report that I started a job Monday. 2-10pm for 4 weeks of training and then 1-9. I will be working for a phone company as a customer service rep! I was blessed to have wonderful full time photography business for 15 years in the US. Due to my Father living in Montreal and having a stroke, I had to move here. I am grateful because I got to reinstate my citizenship! However, when you have your own business for so long it’s hard to get a steady job without references or connections. So I bit the bullet and decided to start from scratch at anything that would me to build my cv in Canada. My life has majorly shifted in a whole new way! I love my job because I get to work with some amazing people from around the world all in the same position as me! Life is good! Love Being You No matter who you are or what you do, you are perfect just as you are. The fact that you are alive and exist on this planet makes you worthy. You made the cut. You are unique and nobody else can do what you are here to do. Whether you are famous or average makes no difference in your value in the cosmic puzzle. Your job is to shine your authenticity.
