I forgot when I heard this qoute, but when I did many years ago, it was everything to me. It has impacted me so much. Since then I’ve always tried to live as kind as possible. When it’s my time, whether its today, tomorrow, or next week, I want ro be remembered as the guy that had a great impression on you and made a positve effect on you. Whether if I’ve known u for 5 seconds, or an entire life time. I’d like to instill a positive moment with everyone I’ve ever come across. A smile, a joke, laughter, whatever. Any positive connection.

I remember complaining to my big bother, Johnson, at a baby shower, about how my life was hectic and so busy with events such as birthdays, bachelor parties, baby showers, weddings, etc. (mind you i attended 8 weddings last year). And he asked me why I was complaining. Then he went on and told me the reason why I was so busy. “You’re so busy because those people that invite you to those events want you in their lives. They put the effort to reach out to you, and knowing you’ll put the same amount, or more back. You’re special because everyone wants you in/at their special moments. Live it, love it, and cherish every moment,” he said. It made sense. Not trying to toot my own horn or anything, but it made sense. You give love, and you get love. Im gonna continue trying to make a positive impact in everyones live who im gonna come across.

Maya Angelou, your words and wisdom has always inspired me to be a better me, a better us. Words of encouragement, giving us strength that that we never knew existed. Shedding light on us when we were at our darkest moments.
