Ok so tw for death, but I really wanted to say this, even if no one sees it.

I was just looking through the Epic: The Musical tag on ao3, and I saw the amazing time travel fic I really loved called "to homeward guide my heart (resurrect the man i used to be)" by Love_Lucigoosey. They hadn't updated it since June last year, and the last time I looked at their account (a few months ago), they were writing dsmp fics, the last update being in September. But I decided to check their account again to see what they were up to, and. Well there was one new work, from a week ago, and the summary and writing was both the same thing.

It was from their mama. Luci had passed away. And their mum was going to publish the fics that Luci didn't get to before passing, and-

I don't want to make this about me. I really really love their writing, and I'm kinda crying writing this out, and I am just so so sorry that they're gone now. But I am- proud is probably the wrong word. Amazed? But in a quiet kinda way, of their mother. For doing this. It feels like when Technoblade passed away, and his dad posted on Techno's channel and informed us about it. I am grieving for this person I never knew, and I am in awe of the strength these parents have.

I don't really have anything profound to say, but that's not what this is about anyway. I'm giving a hug to anyone who's lost someone 🫂💛

I know I'll re-read Luci's works for a long time to come.
