What's the book? Also rating?

the invisible life of addie larue! perhaps controversial since i know so many people really loved that book, but it just wasn't really hitting for me 🙃 i thought the premise of it was promising but the pacing and writing style especially weren't really for me. it took 100 pages for one of the most interesting draws of the book to even happen, and even though it picked up later, i feel like it was still a bit of a chore to get through. and i just wasn't super into the characters. ofc it had some good moments but not enough to really push it over the edge for me

i went by goodreads descriptions of the ratings so i gave it a 2/5 to mean an 'it was okay'
