Her father and mother came from two different lifestyles. All he knew how to do was hard work yet he had a sarcastic but playful side to him whereas her mom came from a family that was more financially stable & she was free to do whatever! mainly hanging at the beach with her friends without a care in the world, she was privileged and a little uppity while her father’s life seemed to be planned out from the day of his birth

Yet they still fell in love and decided to leave Morocco months after they got married at 21 & 24 & not too long after they had yas they left for England

She was raised in Kent, England

The Atmosphere led to her boho lifestyle...being exposed to castles, gardens, and underground tunnels from time to time shaped her into what she felt she was meant to be. She loved her second home

Which made Yasmin feel like shit. Her paternal grandparents were strict on keeping their customs alive whereas her maternal grandparents were carefree as long as they got to see their granddaughter alive & well that was good enough for them

These stuffed babies are her comfort when no else can be

she’s a singer/songwriter. Went to uni for it & finished a semester early

Went through multiple hell experiences when it came to interning & temping while still in school & after

Let’s just say she wasn’t down to f*ck her way to the top

this made her anxiety act up, these people made her feel like she wouldn’t be good enough to show the world her craft & it’s didn’t have to be the world, just someone who would listen

But she couldn’t give up, there was nothing else she saw herself doing. She knew this is what she was meant to do but she couldn’t lie and say that her insecurities didn’t get the best of her most days

Although the cons seemed to out way the Pros some days, she kept at it & found herself a solid team that knew what she was about and understood her soul

Was definitely the student who loved all her English classes & when she spoke up everyone found it shocking since she preferred to just write everything out rather than “participate in group discussions”

I feel like her singing voice sounds similar to Jessica mauboy’s (if you don’t know who that is & you’re a fan of r&b/pop check her out or if you’re just curious that works too lol)

Knows her music notes like the back of her hand, duh!

Fav color is royal blue, especially on her eyelids & nails

Occasionally sleeps in rollers to keep her hair wavy

Needs her space when it comes to disagreements, they stress her out & she panics a bit when things go wrong so she feels like she needs to leave the situation rather than talk it out right then and there

She’ll talk when she’s ready, she just needs someone that’s a little patient with her that’s all

Hasn’t been in many relationships. Sure she goes on tour every other year and gets to meet many people but they’re not solid relationships, they’re hookups and she hasn’t done many of those either

Loved pink & purple (still likes them, they’re her 2nd & 3rd fav colors) so much as a kid that she tried to dye her hair half & half while her parents went out on their date night...it was also the weekend before school pictures :)

Says she got her inspiration from starfire & raven. She was only 13 at the time & had braces. Her father approved saying she’s a kid and she should be allowed to express herself. He only said that because his own parents barely let him & his brothers have their own fun

Her mother thought it was atrocious and did her best to get it out with the help of her other hair stylists friends (her mother worked in plenty of beauty shops once she got to England, until she decided to convert their basement into her own shop) who she invited over to see what her daughter had done but when you use certain permanent dyes...

It didn’t completely damage yasmin’s hair plus it was just hair, Yasmin didn’t see the big deal. She thought she looked splendid

Anyway, massive fan of ballroom dancing

She’s got a great ear to begin with so it was extremely fun twirling around while wearing pretty ballroom gowns

Took boring etiquette classes as a form of punishment? After the whole teen Titans inspiration thing “went wrong”

Enjoys western films

yes she owns a cowgirl hat & some boots too so sue her, she likes what she likes

Knows how to lasso but hates doing it to animals but she’ll do it to you :) (*gags* lmao why???)

Also loves visiting western towns & learning some history or at least experiencing what it was like

Type of significant other that will do her best to persuade you to stay in a treehouse airbnb, a cabin, the fucking Idaho potato, or camping out in her Volkswagen van in the middle of nowhere!

Has faux cow rugs, wicker baskets, wicker chairs in her flat, hangs some plants in glass jars & bottles all over her house

When it comes to decision making, she’ll make them pretty quick but only if it comes to choosing desserts

Leaning towards Buddhism, had studied some of their beliefs and found it resonates with her spirit

Fan of neon lights, probably has a few neon signs in her flat preferably on her brick wall in the loo, “to give u comfort as you go!” “that...actually makes sense.” Tai commented as he rubbed his chin coming to terms with yasmin’s reply. While Iona scowls, “no, no it doesn’t. I feel as if it’s an invasion of my bits!” “...Sorry you feel that way.”

tai & ciaran are automatically deemed as her brothers since she came into the villa with them. She had time to connect with them unlike anyone else. It was just the way the stars wrote their story and it showed outside of the villa too. they often crash at her place all the time when they’re in town & vacation all the time together when their schedules line up + it never feels like she’s third wheeling

“TaiTower” & “BB-Ci” are their names in her phone, Tai picked his own name while the “bb” stands for “best buds” for ciaran —which is a joke since he drunkly called himself so + he loves everyone when he’s drunk

You can always count on her to belt the lyrics to a Chaka Khan, TLC, or paula abdul joint when she’s drunk lol

As for the girls? She’s close with miki 😒 they just seem to be on the same wavelength when it comes to the pressure of the media since they have some sort of fame which increased with them being on the Telly. They bond over that & from there they’ve built a solid friendship

She could also be friends with AJ too (if you didn’t get swiped from her that is lmao!) they’re sorta opposites with aj being high energy/active while Yasmin is more mellow & “mysterious” but seem to connect in different ways: their sexual indentities, insecurities/anxieties, having something to be passionate about but at the same time maybe not? She might lean towards elladine or Genevieve if she had to make a choice?

when talia imagines herself, she is always leaving. and maybe that’s always been the greatest constant in her life, reaching the crest of the mountain top & then turning back down right before hitting the peak. that’s what her mother would say anyways. and she always did have so much to say.

she wasn’t always like this: family disappointment, the daughter whose name gets glossed over in conversations with her parent’s country-club friends. the joke sits on the roof of her mouth: no, I used to be worse.

the thing was, talia always felt like she was too big for this world. like she was a great, cosmic force that had been trapped inside a tiny glass jar, sitting on a shelf & collecting dust. she felt everything too deeply & too strongly, each emotion could echo off her canyon chest for eternities. she wasn’t meant to be a proper young lady, one that would evolve into a proper young wife that hung off her proper young husband’s arm before eventually popping out proper little children & repeating the cycle all over again. she wasn’t built for school board meetings or cocktail hours, lunch at the club and summer in the vineyard. she was a wild creature, always saying the wrong things and laughing with all her teeth, perpetually sneaking out of her girlhood bedroom at all hours of the moon-dark night.

for the record, talia did try. she really did. despite her near-constant bad behavior, her grades were excellent. no one could take that away from her. and by the time university came, she had her pick of the ivies, eventually settling on yale. things were on the uptick, she had fallen in love with her pre-med courses. she spent nights in the library buried beneath piles of books or recording hours volunteering at the local hospital. with medicine, she’d finally found something she was good at, something worthwhile that she could offer the world. something to make her family proud. talia shined at her med-school interviews, winning competing offers from schools like stanford and princeton. and then she got pregnant at twenty-one, just a few months shy of her college graduation.

even now, she can hear the ringing sound of her parent’s voices after the news broke. you’ve ruined your life. you’ve completely ruined your life, natalia. for a time — she believed it, numbingly agreeing to let them take the reins of her existence, which seemed to grow smaller and smaller by the day. talia denied her other offers and picked u-chicago’s medical school so that she’d be closer to her family. she let her then-boyfriend slip an antique engagement ring around her finger and ignored how much congratulations sounded like the click of a lock. she delivered her twins, leila and noah, in the sticky heat of june. she drove herself to the hospital. it was a few hours after an anatomy exam.

she continued this transitory life until her second year of medical school, as her mother & would-be mother in law were planning her wedding. with the wedding, which was already promising to be a lavish affair, talia would finally make things “right”, settle down & have a real family. the babies were a minor hiccup, they said, something people would eventually grow to forgive in time. and talia, despite her restless heart screaming otherwise, once again agreed. but then she saw her wedding dress. her fingers traced the delicate lace & suddenly it all became dizzyingly real. natalia saw her life play out before her — an unhappy marriage, children that would grow resentful of her, a life she’d spent so much of her life trying to escape from thrust upon her hands. and she left. all she remembers is a crescent moon hung low in the sky, guiding her way. new start, talia she repeated like a mantra, this is a new start.

with what was left in her bank account she was able to scrap together rent for the next few years, living on the outskirts of the chicago. she pulled out loans for tuition. for the three years, she worked her ass off and ignored her brother’s pleas to come home. her parents didn’t really bother, talia supposed in their eyes she had already made her choice. she spent mornings waitressing & her evenings studying, relying on the kindness of her friends who didn’t mind her twins sleeping in the background of their all-nighters. when residency came, she already knew what she wanted to do. there was a statistic she’d once seen in undergrad, about how twenty percent of americans lived in rural areas and yet barely a tenth of doctors practiced there. she knew she wanted to do something about it. and she did. she applied to residency programs across the country. including cassel’s hospital. her classmates thought she was bananas to even consider a program in what they affectionately called “bum-fuck-nowhere, USA”, but she didn’t really pay them any mind — letting their laughter bounce off her like dew slipping off a leaf. she knew what she wanted to do. anyone else’s opinion was secondary.

this was some years ago — nearly seven, if she was counting. despite everything, she’s carved herself a lovely little life here in cassel. sure, there are small inconveniences — her med school debt getting in the way of finally buying a house being the chief amongst them, but she’s done the best she can. and that’s all you can do, right? after a lifetime’s worth of strife, to keep moving forwards despite it all. to earn yourself some stability, fill the space in between with love.

REALISTICALLY , I DON’T EVEN KNOW where to start with this message . the first thing that i can say is a most sincere thank you, to whoever in the universe sensed that i could use these kind words. they are extremely appreciated. it’s definitely not news to anyone that this group in its various iterations has been around for several years. i’ve been through so many ups and downs , and certainly my fair share of trials but it has all been worth it.

i love this group , i am proud of the original ideas that i’ve written , but most of all i’m glad that the group is what it is at this very moment - a relaxed, inclusive space for writers. i owe so much of the success of brokencrowns to the dedication of our members, who support me so much and fill me with the inspiration to continue on. but i also have yazzy to thank, for keeping me organized, for being the best, most creative copilot a person could ask for. truly, this may be my group, but it is not my success. it is collaborative and compassionate and i am so lucky to be a part of it every day. thank you for your kind words, anon. they have truly made my day.

On 24th October 2014, 15 year old Jaylen Fryberg walked into Marysville Pilchuck High School in Washington, USA, and shot five students before turning the gun on himself and ending his own life. Of the five others he wounded, four unfortunately died.

Before the shooting occurred, Fryberg sent a text message to his friends asking each of them to get together for lunch. After entering the cafeteria where his friends were gathered, witnesses recalled seeing Fryberg engage in a conversation with them before pulling out a handgun and firing multiple shots. One surviving student stated that the shooter had been “staring blankly” and acted in a “calm and methodical” way as he discharged his firearm. Given the number of fatalities, along with the fact that there was no cooling off period between each victim, the crime committed constitutes mass murder.

Prior to the shooting, the offender also sent a text message to his parents which contained specific instructions for his funeral. The note eerily acknowledges that Fryberg’s plans were entirely premeditated, and also that he had every intention of taking his friends with him, but there is scarce mention of why Jaylen was unhappy with his life. Although he does address his parents affectionately at the end of the letter, overall it reads more as a lighthearted to-do list than a heartfelt goodbye to his family:

“I want to be fully dressed in camo in my casket. Brand new expensive-as-shit camo… Put my hat with the S on it on me in my casket. Put an insulin bag in my casket with me and burn one for me. I want mine, Andrew’s and [name omitted] graves to all be lined up… Songs to play at my funeral. (Life style, U guessed it, hot nigga, Hookah, The Ruble by randy wood, love by Kevin Yaazie) it needs to be POPPIN! Play the randy wood and the Kevin Yazzie first and play the POPPIN SHIT next and ask [name omitted] for some poppin shit to play… I wasn’t happy. And I need my crew with me too. I’m sorry. I love you.”

The deceased victims were named as Zoë Raine Galasso (14), Shaylee Adelle Chuckulnaskit (14), Andrew Fryberg (15) and Gia Christine Soriano (14). Andrew was Jaylen’s cousin. Sadly, Zoë died immediately at the scene, and the others were transported to hospital where they later died. The fifth surviving victim, named Nate Hatch, suffered a gunshot wound to the jaw but was eventually discharged from hospital following corrective surgery.

Netflix Supernatural-Chambers will not return for Season 2

Unfortunately, Netflix has cancelled the horror series – Chambers after one season which means that the series will not be back with a Season 2. This is definitely saddening news for the fans who were eagerly waiting for the Season 2 to come. Chambers was a supernatural drama which consisted of ten episodes, written by Daniel D’Addario.

An insight into the story of Chambers

Chambers is a story about a girl, Sasha Yazzie, who gets a heart attack. After getting a heart transplant, she becomes preoccupied with the conspiracy of the sudden death of her heart donor.

She gets closer to unwinding the truth behind the loops of mystery. She inherits some devastating characteristics of the dead by doing the same.

Reasons behind cancelling the Season 2

Netflix has cancelled Chambers because of the following reasons:

Netflix has previously ended many of its series after streaming two or three seasons. The series streaming on Netflix usually have 80% renewal rate from season 1 to 2.

The horror series failed to gain much love from the critics.

It gathered just 41% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes for an average score of 5.53 out of 10.

It even failed to score a good rating on IMDb-6.6 out of 10.

Metacritic gave an average of 46 out of 100 scores to the series. It indicated mixed and average reviews from the viewers.
