Do u want to talk abt ur ocs..... I actually followed you initially bc they seemed so interesting and silly and I want to know more if you feel like sharing :)

I still can’t believe some ppl follow me for my ocs bc it’s usually for my fanart so this is really nice to hear! I have a couple stories/universes but the main one I’ve been…developing (it’s on and off) since I was like 13/14 is about these two kids named Keiko and Rolin!! Im still doing a lot of world and lore building but the main gist is that Rolin is a teenage boy turning 16 who returns to his hometown to live with his aunt and meets a strange young girl named Keiko (debating on making her 10-12 idk she was originally 10). I won’t go too much into like Lore stuff but she has like..my own version of clairvoyance. They are kind of opposites, with Rolin being introverted and jaded, and Keiko being loud and optimistic but they are both silly.

I think it’s been said before but the whole driving relationship of the story is the two of them going on adventures throughout the city and solving mysteries while simultaneously becoming family and finding a real home within each other and the people they’ve met and learned to love 😚

Now the story is centered around Rolin and Keiko, but a big focus is on the cast of characters that fill mostly Rolins life. Mira and Artie were friends with Rolin when they were kids before Rolin left with his mom, and all three grew up and have been living their own lives, but when Rolin comes back they get a chance to reconnect (with Keiko’s help). Valoryn (Val) is also new in town, and befriends Rolin and Keiko. This is just a messy fast doodle of them I have better art in my oc tags🙏

The other major cast is Rolin’s family, and Rolin has always been Asian so as I worked on the story his family kept getting more and more relevant especially with a major theme of the story being about the connections you have with people in your life so like I can’t leave them out. And I’ve never settled on an Asian ethnicity until recently where I was like I might as well make him Filipino so I can base his family off my own🫡 Cousins (both blood and not) that are years older than you but treat you like siblings and give u silly nicknames 🫶

Now Diana (or Deedee) is one of those characters I’ve had for a long time, and I made her because I liked those laidback mentor figures in anime (like Qrow from rwby) and wanted a laidback lady one 🤷🏻‍♀️ she also has some Misato from nge influence. She has always been written to be a mentor figure to Rolin and Keiko, and at one point I think I was going to make her his actual aunt but stuck to her being just a cousin so I could write about her relationship with her mom 🫶 Unlike her brother Darius, she does not live with her mom and Rolin has to go out of his way to meet her.

And Rolin’s parents’ story aren’t the main focus (they aren’t really present themselves in the main story) and it’s mostly just flashback stuff but they r silly and sad and I love drawing them 😼

Oh boy oh boy info post for my au :)

Synopsis: four mutated turtles wind up in an alley alone and are found by 5 year old April and her mother, they take them home and raise them as a part of their family. They are immediately fittingly named after their parents’ favorite childhood characters, the teenage mutant ninja turtles. And as they grow up they become massive fans of them as well, even going as far as deciding to be just like them in every way. But now that they’re older, and something evil is lurking, they come to realize that it’s not as easy as tv makes it look.

Do Wendy and Basil have any pet names for each other / general nicknames used by friends?

I think I’ve answered part of this question before but I was thinking of changing it sooner or later!

first by friends, I think AUBREY and SUNNY would call WENDY “Deedee” like dydy. For anyone else, not really sure. If they were in a hurry I could also imagine sometimes the group would refer to her as “Wens” like “Wens u can’t be serious right now.” But then again it’s not used often.

He was like a brother to me. I hope I let him know that clear enough. I don't blame him for anything at all. He was far more of a father than I could ever be, anyway.

It's not that I... hate her. I don't hold grudges against her. I know what her home was like, I know why she did the things she did. I just wish she put a bit more effort into fixing herself up a little before it all went crashing down.

hiya, im starting my own bacc after reading all the way through angler bay and was wondering if you built your home businesses/community lots or if you downloaded them? if possible, could they be linked/uploaded at all? im an awful builder and absolutely adore the way angler bay is set up its so cute!! if not, do you know of anywhere to download builds like yours? thank u so much!!<3

Thank you so much for the compliment! I consider myself a mediocre builder at best, so I'm really flattered you think that! I do build most of my community lots myself, with the exception of Purple Noise, which is by @frottana-sims and can be downloaded here.

Unfortunately I can't safely share my community lots, because they're owned by my sims, and sharing previously played lots is a very bad idea. Plus it's a hassle to share lots with a lot of custom content, like mine.

I could try and build CC-free versions, if that's something you would be interested in? Let me know!

I don't really download houses, so I don't have many recommendations, but I've always really like the lots by @frottana-sims, @deedee-sims, @vimpse, and @simper-fi

The Gang's Specific Brands of Catboy/Catgirl Energy (in my opinion)

Tbh this is more like What the Gang would be like if they were literally cats kind of???? I don't actually know what this post is just take it

Mac: he's actually a puppyboy that imitates cat behavior but in a puppy-like way bc he's only ever been around cat ppl. Will not clean himself but WILL incessantly lick Dennis while wagging tail like a helicopter even tho Dennis is .2 seconds away from scratching, hissing, and bullying Mac into a crate (this actually happens in the show just not literally but yes very literally). Other cat learned behaviors are trying to force himself to fit in somewhere he definitely does not. It doesn't work for him like it does for the rest of the gang (do u get the very obvious metaphor) mostly he just barks loudly and bothers cats who do Not Want to be Bothered. Gives puppy eyes like a pro though. Loves squeak and rope toys. Also loves playing with Charlie bc smol and feisty

Dennis: perpetually pissed off catboy. Does the back arch thing and gets the puffy/bottle brush tail a LOT. Emotes with tail a lot tbh (lots of angry flicking) Sends mixed signals by headbutting and purring only to hiss a second later and walk away pissed off. Also bites immediately after asking for pets. Showing his tummy is a trap. He will bunny kick your hands. Asks to be let into the room but just knocks things over and pulls pictures off your wall cause he doesn't want to be around you. Except he does. He is revolted by your pets and kisses but gets mad and jealous when he sees u giving them to one of the other cats. Scratches puppy Mac bc Mac makes his fur all crusty from his grossing licking. Dennis mostly just stands there and takes it for a shockingly long time though. Hates playing at all. Only likes to stare out the window murderously at squirrels and birds. All other cats can beat him up, but he will still sometimes randomly chase/attack Dee.

Charlie: hyper kitten boy. Kitten forever (the kid). A tiny kitty that weighs less than a slice of bread it feels like. Exists only to eat, poop, RUN, and sleep. Eats like he hasn't eaten in days. Very messy in the litter box. Gets incredibly hyper at very random times of day and tears through the house. Attacks you when you try to pet him simply bc he wants to play, not out of malice. Showing tummy is not a trap. U may kiss and pet but with caution bc he may want to play. After exerting all his energy in quick 10 minute bursts he then sleeps for 14 hours straight in the same spot he always sleeps in. Is a chatty kitty when he wants to be. LOVES string toys and cat nip. Likes playing with Mac and views himself as being huge even tho he is extremely tiny by comparison. Could kick Dennis' ass though. Does those little KEH hisses and bottle brushes from time to time

Dee: VERY chatty cat girl. Not a cat girl in the horny anthropomorphic way but in the literal sense. Is a giant bitch to male cats and decimates them with her claws. Also decimates female cats as well. Yowls a lot actually. Mostly likes to lay around flicking her tail bc everyone and everything is annoying. Bullies the boys away from the food bowls but like, innocently. Likes to hang out on top of the fridge and look down on everyone. Actually very affectionate if given the chance but never gets to be anymore. If she did have kittens she would accidentally sit on them a lot. Has lost a claw or two. Hisses at Dennis or meows angrily at him any time he is near or she realizes he's in the room. Sometimes grooms Charlie and then attacks him immediately after. Mac is not even on her radar. Coincidentally shares a name with my irl cat (Deedee) and also shares disdain for male cats. Is also technically a mom tho she is not in her baby's life. Throws up the most. She likes boxes and hiding places.

Frank: obviously a squished face CHONKY catboy. A very lazy cat. He has no interest in fighting or playing very much but always likes hanging around Charlie when he's very hyper and indulges his playfulness with lazy weak battings of the paw. Loves catnip. Loves treats. Walks around and yowls and gurgles a lot for no particular reason. Loves licking plastic all the goddamn time like a weirdo. Will eat anything he finds on the floor. Has a specific spot in the house claimed and gets visibly offended if someone else is on or near it. Though it has never come to this, he could still kick Dennis' ass mostly by sitting on him. Does the bread loaf thing a lot (laying where it looks like he has no legs) would like toys if he could muster the energy to play with him. Prefers cat nip instead. Grunts a lot and breathes heavy (u can actually hear him snore)
