#love the whole bit where siege tells allerdale to stop talking so much about destiny

i finished reading ch 11 & i think its maybe the best of these ive read? it falters in a few parts, eg allerdale being a traitor at the last second and clovisia still not really being a character; but its gotten me generally really invested in the main story. i liked ch 10 but my main issue was that the story was trying to present itself as "lets follow these ragtag victorian rebels fighting against sarkaz occupation", but it made all the victorians weirdo nationalists while the sarkaz's own motivations were flattened into "sarkaz mooks love killing people for fun!". so im a big fan of ch 11 probing more into the internal politics of victoria and picking apart that nationalist angle; while also giving us more insight into the individual sarkaz's conflicting motivations on every level of the conflict. it builds a much richer and more multifaceted story; and makes the whole "everyone here is making what they think is the best decision within an awful situation" thing believable
im #1 theresis fan now btw. he should get as much screentime as possible ideally with bare chest pierced nipples sweat dripping down his neck glaring sexily at the camera talking about his weirdo accelerationist politics come lecture at my college and let me eat your pussy after king <3<3<3<3<3
#misc highlights: love the story with the gaulish soldier helping the sarkaz#love getting a bit of manfred backstory and continuing to emphasize that hes at his core just a normal person#love the whole bit where siege tells allerdale to stop talking so much about destiny#love that by the time kaltsit actually gets hit im kind of rooting for it. even though im sad about it#love every single moment that the sanguinarch is onscreen for being a cartoonishly overwrought villain of the kind i always love#love stainlesses hot catgirl grandma#love the little subplot with paprika and her boss and manfred taking paprika under his wing#arknights
