Jones was getting ready to hop in the shower before she got a WhatsApp notification from her friend, Trinity (or some like to call her Naomi). Coco ignored the message, played her shower playlist and stepped into the shower. She closed her eyes and swayed her hips to the music as she felt the hot water comfortably burn down her skin.

She was really getting into it before her music stopped. What the heck? That question lingered in her head, not for long though as she heard her iPhone ringtone coming from her phone. Coco sighed as she looked through the glass mirror cover bit of her shower to see the contact name.

“WhatsApp call incoming: trintwin 💕💚”

The 5’10 woman felt as if to laugh. Is she serious? Coco waited for the ringing to end and her music to play, and it did just that. Around 20 minutes later, she stepped out and grabbed her towel to wrap around her slim, ebony body. Entering her room and drying off, Courtney went on her missed calls list, tapped on her friend’s name and calling her again. After one ring, Naomi picked up.

Here’s how that convo went:

T: GIRL, I BEEN CALLING YOU!

C: Chill, boo, I was in the shower. ‘nyways wassuh?

T: Yuh, uh-huh, anyways Jon’s going out and asked me to accompany him, I do wanna go but not without my girls. I texted and called Jade, Bianca, Nikki and Brie already, telling them to bring their mans but I can’t leave my fav out! So whatchu say?

Coco sucked her teeth and giggled a bit. They had only known each other for a month through mutual friends and with their busy schedule, they never really had the chance to hang out. Despite the fact that it is in a group, it would still be nice to catch up on things with her.

C: Nope, I’ve got no plans for the day and I desire to keep it like that, thanks though!

T: Oh, it wasn’t a question. Be ready by 8 later this night. Before you say anything, I do know that it is currently 11AM but I didn’t want to forget to ask you. Please come, it’s our day off, we both barely get those, and it’s time to let your guard down and relax with the girlies for a bit!

Trinity was a master at persuading people because after that, Coco had reluctantly agreed to her invite. She wasn’t going to lie, she was playing hard to get as she was feeling a tad bit excited to go out and enjoy herself for the night; she did have nothing to do after all.

Coco was listening to her song, ICU, while doing her hair and makeup, until she received a text notification from Trinity. She stopped everything that she was doing to pick up her phone and take a look. Tutting, she picked the iPhone 14 pro up and took a look at what Trin had said.

‘Change of plans, we’re leaving in around 30 minutes, so you should probably start getting ready to leave. Sorry for the inconvenience!’

Coco dropped her phone down and sighed. This just annoyed her. She’s near the end of her makeup and doesn’t know what jewelry she was going to where. What perfume, what bag, shoes..

That was very important to her! Nevertheless, she had to round up what she was doing-so she quickly finished off her making, though making sure not to rush, found a cute purse to match with her CUTE outfit and of course had to finish off the look with some gold accessories and shoes. Adding a bit of her Clive Christian - X Feminine Perfume into the mix before she was set to go.

That must’ve taken around 45 minutes, but if they were to be disappointed it would be their fault for changing plans on such short notice.

— AT THE CLUB —

Coco entered the club, immediately surrounded by the smell of booze and the sound of blasting music coming from the speakers that are seen to be nearly everywhere in the club.

(COCO’s POV)

The club stank of richness. I didn’t consider myself to be rich and famous, just upper-middle class and well-known. Most would disagree. Anyways, I looked around the club, searching for my friends. The bar…nope. I turned my head to the right and couldn’t see anybody. I looked to the left and saw a big group of people. Without thinking twice, I began to walk towards them until I realized they were complete strangers. I took my phone out from my purse and was going to text Trinity until I heard her forever cheerful voice.

“Girrrlll! You came! We all thought you was gon stand us up, come with me” Not giving me a chance to reply, she took me in her arms and lead me upstairs. I figured a bit ago that that kind of annoys me. I ignore it though, because that’s my homegirl! Dang, ian knew this place had an upstairs. I thought, mentally rubbing the back of my neck.

A few minutes later after walking through a closed off hallway, we arrived in front of a door that had two security in front of it and a label on the entry that ‘Door 13: V.I.P Only’. Taking a quick second to myself, I looked around and noticed that there were other VIP rooms around us. We stepped inside and I noticed everybody that was there.

Jon, Kofi, Xavier, Bianca, Montez, Jade, Brandon, Liv, Jordynne, Bayley and … JOSHUA?!

He looked up from his phone, staring at my surprised face in shock aswell. Oops, guess I said that out loud. I turned to Trinity and hit her playfully, my jaw still dropped. “Uh, trin! You ain’t never said anything about him being here!”

She shrugged and sat back down next to Jonathan. The others looked uninterested, everybody except from Bayley and Liv, the only females without a partner. Bianca and Jade were going to greet me but obviously I was busy and they were busy too, having deeps with their partners. Josh approached me and suddenly I tensed up.

“You look beautiful.” He complimented. “Thanks” I replied back. “Can we talk over there?” Joshua gestured to an empty space: the bar.

“Um, sure”

I generated the list as follows : suggested names were put in the list by default, and i picked the rest by entering every other suits and characters in a randomizer (i used the lists from the wiki two weeks ago which means more recent stuff might be missing). I then used another randomizer for the order at the exception of Player and Nikki which had the first two days reserved

Summary: Loki's out on a date with The Lonely Avenger…only thing is, you're in the Tower, in the common room, with the rest of the team. So who'd he go out with?

Pairing: Loki x Reader

Word Count: 3.1k

Warnings: language; reader threatening violence; other than that, nothing, this is mostly fluff [let me know if i missed anything!]

It would have otherwise been a typical Thursday in the tower had it not been for the gathering of Avengers in the common area like anxious parents waiting for their child to come home at 9:30 in the evening. You spotted Wanda and Natasha among them, clearly amused smirks on their faces.

"Okay either you're staging an intervention or someone's out on a date and you wanna grill them the second they walk through the doors," you said from the stairs as you made your way down.

"Door number Two, jellybean," Tony answered you. "Rock of Ages for the who." 

The strength you needed to keep your expression neutral as you felt your heart turn to lead and drop to the ground…to say it was herculean would have been an understatement. Hell, to say your heart hardened and sank was an understatement. It felt like a sinkhole had appeared in the middle of your whole world and relentlessly sucked in everything in its path.

"Finally," you said with a forced chuckle. "Who's the willing victim?" 

"The Lonely Avenger," Rhodes spoke up from his place on the couch. "Stark started asking around after her first live show when we all realized that she was using tech that wasn't even in production yet. Turns out someone from Operations let one of their friends from Accounting borrow it that night and said lady from Accounting fessed up to being her." 

"Ah, so we finally have a name and face to the voice." You tried to keep your tone unchanged, despite the fire burning inside of you at the thought of someone lying and pretending to be you just to go on a date with Loki.  "So who is the mystery lady?"

"I believe her name was Lady Nicole," Thor spoke from his seat. "Shame it wasn't who my brother wished it would be, but he seems content at least knowing who his lark is. Finally." 

His words felt like he'd might as well have thrown one of his brother's daggers straight at your heart. His lark. He saw you as his, and he hadn't the slightest idea that it was you. No. Instead he was out in the world believing he was with his lark now. Instead he thought that his lark was fucking Nicole from Accounting. 

But then you realized…

"Wait. Nicole? Nikki? Nikki Patrick?" Everyone nodded, the smirks on your friends faces becoming more prominent as you began to chuckle. 

"Why the starting notes of a villain laugh, jellybean?"

You took a breath, trying to compose yourself. "Let's start with Nikki can't hold a note to save her life. FRIDAY? Can you pull up Nikki's open mic performance from the New Year's Eve party and play it through the speakers?"

The most ear-grating tone-deaf rendition of What Are You Doing New Year's Eve began to play through the speakers, making the entire room cover their ears and groan in unison. "Christ on a crutch, that is not Bambi's bird," Tony nearly yelled. 

"It's lark, Antony. And no. She most definitely is not." You looked at the area by the elevator to find Loki standing there, visibly seething in a sinful-looking well-tailored suit. "I was taken for a fool." 

There was a sadistic feeling of satisfaction flowed through you knowing that she'd failed in doing even a remotely decent job at impersonating you; however, that feeling was quickly extinguished with the disappointment you found on Loki's face once you'd looked past the seething and the frustration. He was offended, that was inherently obvious, but he was also simply disappointed. Dismayed.

"How'd you suss it out?" You took a step in his direction as he angrily shrugged off his coat. You knew that he had a tendency to haphazardly toss things around when he was frustrated or disappointed, and right now he was both, and he was two steps away from beginning to resemble his younger self from his time in Asgard. From the corner of your eye, you saw that Thor was also poised at the ready in case the incoming temper tantrum was something you couldn't talk his brother down from.

Loki tossed the coat in the air, and you moved quickly to catch it before it landed on the floor, before he started answering. "Other than the lack of a melodic voice, one of the defining traits of my lark is that she's bilingual. At the very least in song, which could suggest that she could understand at least some basic phrases." 

That was one of your earlier mistakes. You'd sung in Tagalog occasionally throughout your first few weeks, and since it would arouse more suspicion if you suddenly stopped, you made it a semi-regular thing on your channel. "Yeah…she sings in Tagalog, right?" He nodded at you, and you had to stop yourself from chortling when you began to have an idea of how he figured out that Nikki was most definitely a fake. "Mischief, what'd you do?" 

"Kinausap ko lang siya."

"'Tas hindi ka naintindihan?" you shot back with a smile. 

"God help us all they're doing it again," Tony groaned from his seat. "Point Break, I know you have Allspeak. Translate, please?" Thor did exactly that. 

"She absolutely did not understand me, darling. I saw her eyes go blank and then start grasping for words--" 

Your collective attention was disrupted by the ding of the elevator, and you watched as Loki's jaw visibly tensed as Nikki walked in to the common area towards the coat closet. "Ah, Nikki. Just the girl we were gossiping about…" you teased sardonically. "Mischief was just telling us about your date." 

"Listen I'm really sorry, Y/N, I just I really wanted a fair shot and I thought that maybe--"

"You thought that maybe if you pretended to be someone that he was highly curious about that maybe he would be interested in you?" you finished for her. Had she not clearly tried to take advantage of his curiosities and fool him the way she did, you might have felt the teeniest bit guilty for the way that your attitude was making her fidgety and teary-eyed. 

"It's pathetic, and desperate, I know--"

"You know Nikki, I'll give you a piece of advice the next time you try to pretend to be someone. If your assumed persona's bilingual? Aralin mo muna yung lengwahe. Bobo." You vaguely heard Thor's low chuckle as he translated for everyone else in the room.

"Lady Nicole, you fooled my brother," the blonde Asgardian said in a terrifyingly ominous tone. "I do not take kindly to those who take my family for fools." 

"You have thirty seconds to get your coat and get out of this floor before I come after you with everything I've got," you addressed the woman who was surprisingly still standing tall and looking you all in the eye, before she eyed you with incredulity as you slipped your fingers through your brass knuckles.

"And what're you gonna do, Y/N? Hack me to death?" she sneered. "Everyone knows you're the runt of the pack." 

You nodded, as if you were pondering her words. "That may be so. I mean I am only human after all," you chuckled darkly. "But that doesn't mean that I can't do some nasty work on your face once I get to you. See, Nikki, you offended my friend."

"She offended you, too, darling."

"Oh I know." You broke your death stare towards Nikki to briefly address Loki. "Could we table that for a second? I'm kinda having a moment here." He simply nodded and gave you a gesture as if to say 'continue', and you turned your gaze back to the accountant. "Once I get to zero, you will be off this floor. Now whether it be through your own volition or it be through me dragging you down the stairs myself, by your hair, will entirely be up to you." 

"Why are you coming after me?" Her voice was now shaky, as if she was beginning to take you seriously.

You flexed your fist in your brass knuckles. "Mischief here's too much of a gentleman to hit a woman." You straightened your stance and squared your shoulders as you stared her down. "I have no such hesitations. Thirty." 

As you counted down the seconds she scrambled to get her coat off the hanger and rushed to the elevator, frantically pushing the button once you got to sixteen. "I need more than fifteen seconds for the elevator to get here, Y/N, please." 

"Then you better take the stairs, Nicole. TWELVE!" You heard the staggered sound of her heels as she ran to the fire exit and off the floor by the time you got to seven. When you heard the door close, you threaded your fingers out of the brass knuckles, not noticing the raven-haired god walking towards you. 

"Would you have truly used these on her, dear Y/N?" he said as he took the weapon from you to set it down the nearest table. "Seems a wasteful expenditure of your strength." 

You laughed at his words. "No, I wouldn't have. I probably would have bitch slapped the fuck out of her though." You waved your open palm for emphasis, which he took in his own, his thumb stroking the back of your hand. It felt like he was trying to ground himself; you could see the frustration almost fading away on his face. "Are you okay, Mischief?"

He smiled at you, but not in the way he usually did. It was superficial, a facade. It didn't even reach his eyes. Instead he tucked a lock of your hair behind your ear then proceeded to cup your face and stroke your cheek with his thumb, beginning to appear visibly calmer than he was a few mere minutes ago.

"Why do I feel like I'm invading some intimate times over here?" you heard Wilson quip from the side. "Did these two idiots just forget there's other people in the room. Hey Horns! Y'all aren't alone in here!" 

Sam's words broke you out of the reverie you found yourself in, a hint of frustration once again appearing on Loki's face, making you sigh. "Don't change out of your clothes yet and give me ten minutes." 

"What for?" 

"You're not gonna end your night with that look on your face. We're going out." You slipped your hand out from his hold and started your way up the stairs.

Halfway up you heard him chuckle. "I don't recall agreeing, darling." 

"I don't recall asking, Mischief," you shot back with a playful smile.

"Lady Y/N, if he ends up inebriated you will need my assistance to--"

"We're not drinking, Thor!" you hollered from the top of the stairs. When you reached your apartment and you had a moment of silence, you started to doubt your decision, questioning your sanity as you spoke into the emptiness, "Did I just sign myself up for a date with Loki?" 

No, you told yourself. You're going out with a friend because he feels like shit right now and refuses to admit to it, and you're going to either talk about it. Or not. You're just going to be there for your friend. This isn't a date.

Despite the infuriating and disappointing start of the evening, this was a rather pleasant turn of events from where Loki was standing. Who knew that being taken for a fool and returning to the tower from a dinner date cut short due to feeling as if someone had ripped out the very ground from beneath his feet at the revelation that the woman who claimed to be his lark was a charlatan would have led to walking towards a cafe not too far from the Tower, hand in hand with you?

You knocked on the door with the 'Closed' sign in a specific pattern and a middle-aged looking woman opened the door for you with a warm smile. "Y/N! What a pleasant surprise, dear, come in! You're just in time, my latest batch of cakes I'm trying out just finished cooling." It was only when you two stepped foot into the establishment that she turned her gaze to the god. "Oh hello there!" She eyed your joint hands. "You must be the boyfriend?"

A peculiar sensation spread through his body at the thought of being seen as yours. Norns, how he wanted that to be the case. His hand squeezed yours ever so slightly, as if he had a feeling that you would have let go at the elder woman's assumption, and he was silently pleading for you not to. 

"Uhh no…I'm not uhh--I don't have a boyfriend, Abbie. Anyways, I want you to meet Loki. He works with me, well more like I work with him and the rest of the Avengers but I'm gonna stop before I start rambling." You turned to look at him once more. "Mischief, this is Abbie. She owns the cafe and every now and then I stop by and test some of her new recipes after hours." 

Loki offered his free hand to shake, still refusing to let yours go, and thankfully you hadn't made any motions to relinquish your hold either. "It's good to meet you, dear. Please, sit." She motioned towards a table situated near a corner of the cafe. Quiet. Dare he say, even…intimate. 

As if he would be on a date with you. The notion brought a smile to his face. 

"I'm game for pretty much anything, Abbie, but if you have anything with lemon in it?" You pointed towards him with your free hand, clicking your tongue and then giving her a thumbs up. He only let go of you once you were sat across from one another at the table, and you proceeded to tell him a brief summary of how you came across this place a year and a half ago.

You'd needed an escape from something you vaguely referred to as "emotional fuckery" and found yourself sitting at this very table, ordering one sweet drink or treat after another until it was time to close. "And that was when I told Abbie my entire emotional fuckery dilemma the way jilted lovers talk to bartenders," you explained. Since then you would periodically pay her establishment a visit whenever you needed an escape or simply had a craving for something sweet.

"So how come you needed an escape tonight, darling?" 

He couldn't have possibly been more unprepared for your response. "Oh I didn't need an escape tonight, Mischief. But you did." It was all he could do to not go over to your side of the table, lift you into his arms and kiss you until you were both breathless. "You seem really bothered by what happened tonight." 

As you both started taking bites out of the slices of cake set in front of you, he felt this warmth, this comfort that always found its way to him once he spent enough time alone with you. As if he could tell you just about anything without fear of being judged or condemned. It was a heady, dangerous sensation, granted that he could tell you almost anything without that fear creeping in.

He just had to make sure that what he told you didn't consist of the worlds "I'm maddeningly in love with you, Y/N, and I want you to be mine." 

He jolted himself out of his thoughts, answering you with, "I am. Truly. I feel as if she had taken advantage of how greatly I wanted to know the identity of my lark. I feel a fool for not seeing it sooner, for wanting to know the answer to her identity so desperately that I failed to acknowledge the signs that her stories had…holes." 

"Why do you want to know who The Lonely Avenger is so badly, Mischief?" 

"Mostly I wish to thank her," he responded honestly. "There's an emotion behind her words, her songs, that when I hear them I hear…love. I cannot fathom anyone having that kind of emotion for me." 

"You are loved." Your voice audibly cracked as you said the words, and when Loki looked into your eyes, he could see the beginnings of tears welling up in them, as if you were fighting them back with all your strength. "You are, Mischief. Trust me. By more than you think." 

Just not by you, he thought to himself bitterly. No one else would matter if I was loved by you. 

He knew in his heart that he would cease his search for his lark in a heartbeat if his love for you was requited, but instead there would only ever be a dull ache in his heart at the knowledge that you'd only been offended on his behalf earlier tonight because your friend was lied to. That you'd brought him here now as a way to comfort your friend. 

It was why he wanted to meet his lark so desperately. He wanted to meet her so that perhaps he could begin to move forward from his unreturned feelings for you and finally be truly content with just your friendship. Although part of him was already resigned to knowing that even if he knew the identity of his lark, it could never truly dispel his affections for you. 

As for the rest of him? That part still held on to hope that perhaps you finally did put the voice that haunted his dreams every night to song and that you were behind the melodic faceless and nameless voice that was proclaiming your affections online. Perhaps his lark was someone he knew, someone he already loved.

And she was already sitting across from him at this very table.

And perhaps you would tell him when you were ready.

Or perhaps you're simply desperate to hold on to the notion that she could love you so ardently that she would put that love into song. Perhaps you'd mocked Thor for so long that this is simply Holde making sure you knew the variation of Thor's situation in which you were nothing except desperate and pathetic for this Midgardian. Why would someone as pure as she ever return the affections of a heathen such as yourself?

"I will believe that when I see it, darling," he said, cracking a forced smile your way if only to help in fighting back the tears he still saw lurking in your eyes.

✨Girlbosstember✨ Official Commentary— Day 2

Good morning, all, and welcome back to this second day of our glorious Girlbosstember! Yesterday’s matches wrapped up as anticipated, with Kimi entering the Quarterfinals of her League by a wide margin and Hestia entering hers by a narrow one. We will see them both return to the polls when we begin the next round.

For today’s matchups, things are sure to get really intense! Every single entrant today garnered more than a 75% rate for nomination during the preliminary round! Up first in the Love League, we have the heated battle between Ace versus Ozeca! Both ladies have purple eyes and know their way around an armory, but that might be where their similarities come to an end. Ace is the itinerant knight younger sister of Pigeon’s Queen, who left her home behind in order to find a way to save her sister’s failing memory and to assist the causes of the light. Her list of badass moments include jumping out of a tower with Nikki in her arms to save her from captivity! Princess, Knight, and perhaps supreme Girlboss? We will see! The other hopeful today is of course Major Ozeca of League Tyr, the main female presence on the Night Ordered. As Nidhogg’s right hand woman, she has faced down the Iron Rose Stylist Legion, has worked alongside the likes of Dr. Gray Raven and his assistant Peachy, and perhaps most heroically, endured the presence of Reid Mercury. Could anyone but a true Girlboss get through all of that with her job intact? You decide! Given that the two contestants were separated by literally one vote in the prelims, this Love League battle is sure to get heated! Ace currently holds a 20% lead, but that could easily change when the full League Tyr Voting Bloc arrives at the polls. Keep an eye on this one for sure!

The Shining League Match for today might be just as divisive! Up today for their first appearances in the polls are Queen Lilith and Yunikina! Queen Lilith is famous for selling her soul to her demon butler to become beloved by all in exchange for never being satisfied. In Shining Nikki she currently reigns as the nearly universally loved Queen of Ninir kingdom—and those voters who are familiar with Love Nikki should also be aware that she is in fact, the woman that they will rename the entire country after. Is that the mark of an ultimate girlboss? Facing her is another figure who becomes a legend in Miraland—Yunikina, the army general who led the Snow Eagle Revolutionary Force. While perhaps not having a country named after her, she founded a legacy legion that carries the torch of her spirit for centuries to come as well as inspiring a Lifetime Crafting suit in both games. It might not be named after her, but North would not be as it is today without Yunikina’s influence. But which of these titans should also be adding ‘true girlboss’ to their list of accomplishments? Only you, the Girlbosstember voters, can decide! Lilith holds a lead following early morning voting, but that could flip at any time!

1. I hate the vvanna quiz that u gotta do every week and the thought waltz u do every day. I dont wanna sit there for 30 seconds to get a small reward n why would u make me do a quiz for reqards when i just started playin and i dont know shit about fuck?

2. The ui is genuinely kind of awful. Pretty, but awful. Like, look at this one page for example.

The store has a picture of a girl wearin stuff u cant even buy at the store. Do u know what u do in the fashion studio? No? I wouldnt blame you its just a random picture. You make clothes, like you shape your own stuff. Brand design studio? You craft suits. Doesnt have anythin to do with makeup though. And then u have one of the pictures not even leadin to anything, just there, filling space.

And for the place where u go to make the clothes. One of those bubbles you Create The Clothing, on the other you Paint The Already Created Clothing. Can u guess which is which? WRONG its the other way around

3. The way everythin is divided into so many little stores and currencies and whatnot. Every god damn feature has its own store and thus gives u currency that u can use in said store. This isnt necessary pls

4. Every possible screen has one of these little fuckers which gives u a little red notification mark and u go and claim it and it gives you 1000 coins and a punch in the face

5. This is a me problem but i just cant get into being the protag of this story. I have no attachment to this girl and she s sayin stuff i would never lmao i much preffer bein a disembodied voice inside nikki s head while she s out doin cool stuff and/or getting tramatized and im in bed eatin a burger

6. Too much, too fast. It feels like if i joined love nikki rn, game is old and has so much Stuff Going On and it s impossible to catch up now. Shining nikki did a great job with its global release, takin things slowly and not overwhelming anyone.

7. Also time for a nitpick lol. Whenever i take a screenshot, this screen pops up. Leave me alone bruh im not sharing ur shit

This confession regards Themes!

I've seen quite a few confessions regarding uncreative themes and related things, so I wanted to give my two cents as someone with a unique theme.

The ability to create unique themes isn't difficult and can be incredibly fun, but of course, with smaller fan bases for certain fandoms, it can, of course, be difficult to get recourses for that media. Making your own recourses or asking around to see who will willingly make recourses for that media can be fun, and if you do the latter, it can be a good way to make new acquaintances! So, if you're making a theme, please never let yourself be deterred because of media not having a lot of recourses you can use.

I also think part of the issue with creating unique themes is people not wanting to stray away from pastels and popular personas. If you want to do pastels, there are so many characters that are unique and still match pastels. The persona's thing is like nurses for example is a very popular persona with only a handful of characters used, and I think that's a wasted opportunity to not use characters like Nurse Joy (I've personally done this theme), Love Nikki Nurse Suits, and Suzu Fujimi for some examples.

Bonuses For Pre-Registering

The official website got a huge makeover!

And now, there's a milestone counter for the number of pre-registrations!

This leads me to wonder:

What are the Resonite Crystals? They clearly have something to do with "resonating," but what exactly? Will they boost certain powers for Ability Suits? Are they going to increase scores for different categories of clothes, like the Styling Academy in Shining Nikki? Or are they for crafting extra special suits... like the Miracle Outfits?

We can only guess for now, but the more people that pre-register, the more Resonite Crystals we get, and the sooner we find out! :)

At least we unlocked extra materials for Threads of Reunion. So, we're one step closer to helping Ena the Curator.

Next, there's the Compendium, with five parts:

It makes me wonder about how Styling Power has changed since Love Nikki and Shining Nikki. Now, Styling Power has something more tangible than just strength of will and strong memories: they take physical form as Whim Stars.

Curious... Is it because Styling Power is more abundant/powerful now? Or is this a change from one of the timelines in Shining Nikki's Star Sea lore?

Then, the Whimborn. Were they created by a Stylist in the past, or are they just another manifestation of Styling Power, like the Whim Stars? If by a Stylist, then who? Ena the Curator? Maybe a past Stylist from another Nikki game? (If that's the case, I'm assuming Leonid or someone equally powerful.)

And of course, the starting town of Florawish. So far, we encounter key characters in our starting towns in the Nikki games: Lunar, Bobo, and Kimi from Love Nikki; Helz, Loen, and Leonid (in flashbacks) in Shining Nikki. I wonder which characters in Florawish will be long-term friends/characters? Dada and Bebe work at the Guild. Giovanni works with WhimTech. Nonoy works as an intern at the Dream Warehouse. Which one, or ones, will be key players going forward?

Breezy Meadow was just too cute not to share.

Makes me think about Styling Power in Shining Nikki, to be honest. According to Loen's Flame Fox Reflection, any item can be imbued with the power of Styling or even Designer's Reflection. It's nice seeing something similar in Infinity Nikki, with objects that contain so much Styling Power they manifest in tangible form. But Whim, instead of Reflection.

I wonder if we'll be able to see any memories of Stylists, or even gods like Ena.

Something fun: names on Naboo! I love populating my worlds with OCs and I like having names that either sound similar to regular names but suited to fit the language (i.e. Isabella, Isabeau, Isobel) and names that have the same meaning but sound totally different.

So, some [non-canon] names on Naboo, definitely not an exhaustive list though, and their meanings:

Note: For names I have not kept to my own spelling rules, because they're names and they look prettier this way and also that's exactly how Naberrie works. Most are the exact same, but if a name ends with an "e", it is actually an extension of the previous vowel, i.e. Câlude would be spelled "câlood" and pronounced /ca:lu:d/ not /ca:lʊde/.

Angel loves boba tea. She even has a channel online dedicated to boba tea: the many flavors, the various toppings, the secret menu, how to pick a flavor for your mood...

Despite how much hard work she puts in, her channel remains slow.

Nevertheless, she still maintains enthusiasm with every new shop and special. And one of her favorite shops just opened a new branch. Angel heads straight there, eagerly waiting in line behind a man who has a long, long, long list of drinks to order.

Finally, she has her own boba, as well as two more for Nikki and Momo. She goes to their nail salon and gives them their favorite teas. As the friends chat and do their nails, Angel brings up her struggle with the channel. She also mentions that she tried fashion designing, but nothing stood out to her as good.

Nikki suggests combining bubble tea with designing. After their meet-up, Angel gets a bolt of inspiration: not only add boba elements to her clothes, but model them on camera when she does her blogs.

Sure enough, within a couple weeks, her channel hits 10,000 fans. All of them adore her style, and some want to buy copies of her designs. All is going well for Angel... until she ends up in line behind a man who has a long, long, long list of drinks to order. Again.

Fun Facts

-Another name for bubble tea is "boba tea" because of two things: the tapioca balls look like colorful bubbles in the tea, and also because the Chinese word for tapioca balls sounds like "boba." You can learn more about this Taiwanese drink here.

-While Angel is a regular customer at Nikki's salon, no nail art was released alongside this suit.

-One of Angel's fans commented that she had "tres-cool designs." Tres is French for "very" and it's pronounced "tray" or "treh." Some people think it's trendy to drop French words in their comments or dialogue.

-I personally like how a design based after a sugary-sweet drink gets the Sweet attribute. It's a play-on-words.
