first shift back at work since september place ur bets how many stupid mistakes im gonna make
#was such a good shift I missed them all so much AND I didn’t fuck up at any point#I was worried it would all be new people who wouldn’t respect me as one of the Experienced Staff Members but it was all people I knew#and our dynamics were all the same so it was just jokes it felt like I never left#but with the added bonus of them all being genuinely happy to see me#AND ALL THE DECKS ARE UP IT LOOKS SO NICE#love my silly little hometown restaurant even if the customers make me want to maul someone#(thinking about the guy whose table came to £300 and he very loudly proclaimed that he would sort the tip bc he was so kind and generous#before handing me a five pound note. king im about to get on my knees FIVE WHOLE POUND 🤤🤤🤤)#hella slaves to capitalism
