The Cutest Date Ever

Last week after winning his game Teerak (KONGPOB JIROJMONTRI aka KONG) offer Fah (TEETUT CHUNGMANIRAT aka THOMAS) a reward. Anything he wanted (as long as it wasn't to expensive)

Fah requested a date. Teerak stands shocked.

This week Teerak assumes this more fake dating and promises to arrange something for Fah.

Ideas a plenty Teerak aka Rak aka Saggy Cheeks mentioned going to a zoo but believes Fah should choose. Fah concurs. And in a boss move Fah rents out the entire zoo for Teerak.

All smiles Fah and Teerak thrive on their date with giraffes, tiger cubs, and birds etc.

Naive Teerak can't see that Fah is so into him. And Fah doesn't seem ready to confess to his little brother's best friend.

Next Week: Could Fah be ready to not only to confess to Teerak but to get physical.

Whenever there's a line up event, one of the things that I'm starting to look forward to the most are the show's english names. They are always...interesting. Anyway, a lot of new stuff. They are certainly rivalling gmmtv in terms of content and the event itself. That was looooong and there were a LOT of announcements.

Before I go into new shows. We finally got a date for The Next Prince and it's April. Also Zomvivor has a new teaser and it will air...soon. Goddammit. Speaking of elusive air dates, Khemjira is also coming...soon. It's like they don't want me to be happy. I need all the horror. Your Sky of Us will be a special 3 episode event that will follow the characters into adulthood. I like the idea of seeing the couples after the show's hea so this should be nice. Now for everything else. I added link to the mdl pages and the trailers, so if you don't want my unsolicited opinions just click on the links below the pics.

[ MDL | Trailer ] Love Upon a Time - It's not exactly a new announcement but we finally got a pilot with the new cast and I really enjoyed it. I'm convinced that Net is one of those actors that can have chemistry with anyone so this should be good at least when it comes to the main couple. When it comes to fantasy thai bl, I never want to get my hopes too high because a lot of the time they tend to forgo internal narrative consistency for the sake of the romance, but either way, I will be watching this one.

[ MDL | Trailer ] Your Third - MaxNat romcom, why not? When it comes to the romance, I think they can pull it off, but the comedy? Not so sure. I don’t hate anything here, but I can’t say I really love anything either.

[ MDL | Trailer ] Mr.Fanboy - Well this should be interesting. I do like when bl goes a bit meta, so I'm looking forward to see what DMD has to say about this. AuAu and Save fans must be losing it to see them as leads, and I was surprised to see James. I thought he wasn't gonna be in any series for a while, but I'm not as well informed about these things. Interesting cast and concept. I will be tuning in.

[ MDL | Trailer ] You(r)Tuber - Do you see what I mean? These names kill me. Looks cute. Surprised to see Earth and First but nothing really excites me about this one. Oh wait, I'm wrong, there are pets and more importantly a cat. That makes me happy.

[ MDL | Trailer ] Duang With You - My crumbs have graduated and I'm screaming. I love everything about this, but honestly, I love TeeteePor. They are beautiful. I also love a shameless flirt that will thaw the heart of a brooder. So I'm winning either way.

[ MDL | Trailer ] Restart - This is giving Elite but with some extra bullying for good measure. It's also giving nakedness galore. DMD knows their audience. I'm guessing we will be seeing a lot of showers. I'm happy to see Tommy again. I'm not sure if this is exactly bl, but with the amount of naked boys in the pilot alone, might as well be.

[ MDL | Trailer ] Magic Lover – I guess it was only a matter of time for BL to start playing with magic. I mean, we're in our vampire season, so this was the next logical step. Anyway, ThomasKong are back. And Keng… I have to admit, very few actors illicit a strong reaction from me solely based on their looks, but Keng is one of them. That guy has an absolutely flawless face. I like that we have 3 different couples and I like fantasy and fated mates so I'm definitely on board.

[ MDL | Trailer ] HUG E-Lhee The Musical - Ok, I LOVE musicals. Seriously. And let’s be real, when it comes to musicals, especially the more comedic ones, there’s always a built-in level of cringe. Which is fine. People randomly breaking into song pretty much guarantees that. But throwing BL into the mix, along with some folks who aren’t exactly great singers? That might just be a step too far for me. No shade, just a personal preference.

Also announced was another ThomasKong show, Unknown Lover, and a DMD Sitcom, หอตัวดี, with literally all the boys.

Well, that's everything from me. Obviously most of these will come in late 2025 and 2026. And despite everything I just said, I’ll probably still end up watching the first episodes of all the shows.

What are the new DMD shows??? If you know!

I did my best to summarize. Here they are, in alphabetical order, and with the main stars noted.

Duang With You (PorTeeTee)- Duang fell in love with handsome singer Qin almost at first sight. But Qin doesn't know he exists, despite Duang being the 2nd most popular boy at their university, and Duang doesn't know how to express his love or stand out among Qin's many admirers. When Duang completely fucks up his confession to Qin, he intrigues the normally cold man. Qin is seduced by the clumsy but earnest love of his classmate. He is partnered with Qin for a class project, and they grow even closer.

HugELhee (ZeeNuNew)- Noi loves to sing, and would love nothing more than to be a singer. But he has to spend his days toiling at his mother's restaurant with his aunt. When he was a child, his parents divorced, and his obnoxious brother Nid was raised by their father. Nid became a megastar singer- with an ego to match. When Noi's mother collapses, it's up to him to keep the restaurant afloat- a task made nearly impossible by the appearance of Chang. Nid pissed off Chang's family by ending an endorsement deal, and Chang is out for vengeance. He doesn't know why Nid is holed up in the countryside running some dinky restaurant, but Chang is determined to ruin his life... not realizing the man he is pissing off isn't Nid at all. As Noi and Chang's rivalry begins to turn to love, Chang has to contend with the abuse he's put Noi through- and the realization that he targeted the wrong man all along. Side note: it's a musical.

Love Upon a Time (NetJJ)- A young man finds himself thrown back to a previous life, waking up in the 1400s. He must navigate this past life- and avoid the man who killed him- while falling in love with a handsome young man.

Magic Lover (KengNamping, ThomasKong, and JimmyOhm)- Three young wizards are sent to the human realm as part of a once-in-a-century ritual. They must find their true loves within 30 days or they will be turned into animal familiars for all eternity. But when they find out who their soulmates are... being an animal forever doesn't sound like such a bad fate after all.

Me and Who (BigPark)- Part of the new DMD lineup, but the trailer was released a while back. An unlucky man named Phopthorn shares what little food he has with a stray dog, who brings him a winning lottery ticket. But unlucky to the end, Phopthorn is hit by a car as he runs to cash in his win. He is reborn into the body of Apo, a billionaire with a cold and calculating fiancée who can read minds. Phopthorn has to blend in to Apo's life and navigate the dangers of a billionaire's life. While fiancée Suriya was frigid and dismissive of Apo, he falls in love with the bumbling Phopthorn and his pure innocence. Suriya is determined to help the gentle Phopthorn step into bitchy Apo's life and fool the family until the wedding, securing for himself important business contacts.

Mr. Fanboy (AuauSave)- Wan is a diehard fan of BL star Nine, and an avid hater of Nine's partner Third, who is cold to him during interviews and keeps the focus on their work. Wan auditions for ThirdNine's new series and lands a supporting role. Wan quickly realizes that his idol is two-faced and hides cruel lies behind a sanctimonious smile- behavior Third is thoroughly sick of. As Third and Wan start to fall in love, Nine is determined to destroy the threat.

Restart (Mostly DMD Gen 1 and 2 and their partners, but no ZeeNuNew or Nat)- A boarding school divided into the children of the rich and powerful, and the nobodies who act as their slaves in the hopes that they might be able to follow their tormentors into high paying positions. When one student falls to his death and "re-starts" his life, he tries to navigate the toxic perils of the school and find some unknown missing item that everyone thinks he has... I'll be real with you- I watched the trailer but I don't really know what this show is about.

Your Third (MaxNat)- Work-a-holic secretary Jam is sent on a mission to find his boss' wandering twin brother. Sarm has vanished to an island to escape heartbreak, and his enduring love for his ex holds him back from a new love with Jam.

You(r)tuber (TleFirstOne)- Chopkhun helped his boyfriend build a popular youtube channel with a huge following, then caught him in bed with his best friend. Enraged, Chopkhun becomes determined to start a new channel and openly compete with his ex. He hires a videographer named InTouch, a man way overqualified for the job. InTouch is warm, supportive, and openly loving towards Chopkhun, which earns them a growing following of fans eager to see the YouTuber and his Videographer and wonder... Will Chopkhun ever realize InTouch is flirting with him? But Chopkhun has known from the start, and finds himself falling in love.

Zomvivor (All DMD Gen 1 & 2, plus Boss Chaikamon)- Zombies. Might be released in my lifetime.

There is also a poster for a show with ThomasKong called Unknown Lover, but they didn't release a trailer or any details, so IDK if they're planning on doing this one this year or not.

They're also working on a show called Me And Who starring BigPark (The duo from Monster Next Door), but they didn't include that in the showcase. I think it's either in workshops right now or they just started filming?

so DMD gen 3 boys are having a fan meeting in Bangkok right now. 3 koojin in gen 3 are ThomasKong, KengNamping and TleFirstone, other members: Latte, Gems and TeeTee have partners in different gens.

so i thought they would have 3 duo performances and 1 trio but DMD surprised me by having the partners on stage as special guests too: MarkGems, LatteKim and PorTeeTee/TeeTeePor. idk but it makes me feel touched and warm :')

not like i think there is any thing wrong with them being a trio, but it's so nice to have the partners/ the closest chosen colleagues with you on this big stage when your other friends also have theirs too. idk maybe it's because of my period and i become emotional but i think it's cute 🥹 i love my DMD boys <3

so here are some thoughts about DMD Friendship the Reality while we are nearing the end

yeah yeah its not that deep but actually no one caring/talking about a show makes me want to write a LONG ASS POST bc i cant get gratification from going through the tags and reading opinions lmaoooooo so HERE damn okkk i will make the content i want to see in the world i guess dont mind me......😞

im not even the biggest Domundi fan but i was intrigued by the premise of this show. i mean it's a basically fake dating show (like one of their challenge rewards was getting to sleep in a suite together as if they are there to date for real) and the end prize isnt just an acting opportunity as it comes w the big decision of choosing a looooooong time acting partner. so i wanted to see how they would do it. BOC did a similar thing w The Hidden Character which i dropped halfway in bc it was too long and i found the challenges to be irrelevant to the ending goal. this show is the opposite of that and thats why ive been enjoying it.

it is edited to be concise (only 5 eps) and honestly, is quite tranquil. all the challenges were about things they will be required to do in the future as DMD actors/idols and stakes aren't even that high. You could always guess who would win before they even started (((like of course broody model guys won the photoshoot challenge and guy w two series under his belt won the acting one, DUH))) but it was still enjoyable to watch. show's goal isn't to generate tension and competitiveness. it is more of a workshop/chemistry building camp and also a way to introduce the new generation and get the fans warm up/attached to them.

as i spent time in bl fandom sphere, i've come to realize introducing a new gen is tricky. i thought everyone would be ecstatic to see new blood and a lil bit of mix and match but BL fans are reaaaaaaaaaaally attached to their faves and generally see newcomers as threats who will take opportunities from their already neglected (!) precious babies (e.g. just couple weeks ago FortPeat fans were protesting the new lesbian side couple in the upcoming show for stealing screen time from their faves, which is a joke in itself). this kind of show is genius way to get people to warm up to idea of new faces. at the end of the the day, these fans' weakness is two beautiful boys indulging in sweet moments they can be delulu over and considering how ships were already born from the first episode, DMD FTR succeeded in their goal.

LETS TALK ABOUT THE BOYS :-) *this starts playing*

I had to make this during first ep bc they are all dark haired boys w similar builds so I kept confusing them lmaoooooo (Tle not pictured as he joined later)

i will firstly talk about the fan favorite possible "couples";

KengNamping, the quiet visual couple and yes I love em!!!! they were kinda the only "conflict" in this very conflict free competition.

is Keng the CALMEST person I've ever seen? Latte is laid back too but Keng is just seems zen. sometimes (in the face of conflict) he just seemed hard to read but mostly he has such a calming presence. honestly, he should open an ASMR channel if this acting gig doesn't work out.

Namping also comes off very warm and graceful. him being "wow I'm finally in the winner suite" to Keng after finally getting chosen in ep4 made me laugh like DAMN he really was offended by what happened in ep1 and kept letting it slip. Idc, you are so right my prince and don't ever let Keng forget what he did to you...

when it comes to the possibility of them as a couple: i am kinda here for it while also not knowing if i actually believe in their "moments" in the show? Namping definitely set his sights on him from the beginning but Keng seemed nonchalant about it. Keng finally choosing Namping after his win, their sweet moment on the bed etc. seemed to me like classic reality show moment prompted by production to fit a certain narrative WHILE ThomasKong's pseudo-date-night chats seemed very real and spontaneous.

they do visually have chemistry, i'm not gonna act like i wasn't blushing when Keng trying to flirt during dinner or Namping softly touching a sleepy Keng's chin in the bed etc. Or even in ep2, when Namping tries to confront Keng about his pick but they are too timid and just unable to talk about it openly!!! arrghhh it's a hard to watch moment but still, made them more intriguing because they had such a tension between them. it would be a shame if it wasn't explored more. that tension can be channeled into an angsty series, just saying...

So, they def have a long way to go in their bond and arent comfortable like LatteFirst or ThomasKong but still, they are a strong contender and I would be glad to see them as a couple in a show. Namping already got my attention in the acting challenge and wonders can be achieved w a lil bit of workshop. they got the juice already!!!

Now, lets talk about ThomasKong.............

me watching Thomas relentlessly chatting Kong up since THE FIRST EPISODE

so I knew LatteFirst are set be a side couple in upcoming Love Upon a Time but i was confused to see why everyone on Twitter was already going cuckoo over these two random boys until i saw them interacting... Wow, like Thomas really came here w one mission: get Kong and leave.

because Thomas is such a flirt like DAMNNN😳😳😳😳he needs to be jailed for carrying lethal amounts of charm... IT MUST BE SAID: I love his fits w those thin glasses, he should've been wearing those in those office BLs he was in because he has been serving "office siren". Tiktok girlies eat your heart out.

while Kong isn't the best at acting or singing (he is the best KengNamping shipper tho and i LOVE a fudanshi BL actor), he definitely would win Mr. Congeniality if they were giving that title. he naturally and effortlessly has great on screen charisma. he is a certified cutie and the only one who can get real full belly laughs from Thomas!!!

i think what they managed in the acting challenge is the testament to their palpable chemistry. acting wise they weren't perfect (naturally, their uneven acting experience levels were apparent) but they were the only one who managed to tonal shift in their scenes. it's because they were the only ones who played into the romantic subtext of the scene. they also held eye contact for the longest (because they are comfortable w each other and not shy!!!), which elevated their chemistry and made me AND the judges giggle and roll our hair and kick our feet and shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are obviously the most likely to win the show and they deserve it too. no matter the result of the show, i want see them carrying a series as mains because they can and should. i also believe DMD won't fumble their bag, so i am not worried about it.

to conclude, I will quote Zee,

then we come to LatteFirst, the kinda established couple: in the ep5 preview, we see First trying to choose between Latte and the newcomer Tle, which seemed random to me and could be a production touch to create conflict in this very smooth sailing show.

i loved seeing Latte being nonchalant about the possibility of First choosing someone else, what a laid back guy. like Mio in THC, every BL reality show needs a half asleep and occasionally funny dude.

now i am thinking; what if First chose Tle, would he also replace Latte in LUAT bc DMD doesn't really fuck w mixing matching their couples. i honestly don't know where did all that come from but i feel like the result wont be too shocking, First and Latte are already really close and comfortable and got The Chemistry. need i remind of Latte punching the air a la Judd Nelson at the end of The Breakfast Club when it was announced they both chose each other for the dinner date? and their sweet and comfortable banter on that said date??? let's put our pens to work and write a friends to lovers rom-com for the boys based on that material please...

i dont think they are likely to win but might be strong contender. i just want to see them as a side couple in LUAT (hopefully this year!!!!) so they can develop themselves and their bond a little bit more before getting to a main couple level. their sweet friendship shouldn't go to waste!!! (is it obvious i am more drawn to BL couples who are besties in real life?)

damn this post is about to be a novella so i will make it short about Gems, TeeTee and Tle, i hope Gems won't be too upset about getting slighted again 😥 like i said, stakes aren't high on this show and results are always obvious: these guys are going back home empty handed, we all know it. they are all charismatic and VERYYY talented but i just felt like none of them really focused on "getting a partner" part of the show, not just the main challenges. even TeeTee who was picked by Thomas and Keng seemed kinda uninterested about partnering up. but you cant really force chemistry and i am sure they will get many more opportunities in the future. they already started their fanbase!!! i cant stand to see Gems so upset, i hope he wont be too sad.

these are my opinions. maybe the ending will do a whole 180 and idk, GemsKeng or TleKong or some other random couple will win, who knows???? cant wait to watch the new overly airbrush filtered, Cheewin directed DMD show up to like 5 episodes and then get bored and drop it and follow the rest from gifs!!! good luck to the boys <3

DMD FTR: finale thoughts

i forgot to put this out because i've been in the process of being an employed adult human person these days, unfortunately (no one who saw my previous DMD FTR posts is surprised that i was unemployed). now i wont even get to have my weekly crisply shot and edited hang outs w Gen 3 besties while this new job is sucking my soul... but this was a pleasant finale to this sweet and chill and incredibly unsurprising show!

here's the thing: i dont even know who Domundi is trying to fool w this double win stuff cause they did literally announce the new gen would be acting in TWO (2) new series during their 2023 Line Up event???????

so the double win wasn't a surprise AT ALL but it's okay, it didnt really diminish my enjoyment out of the show at all. i wanted both couples to have series anyway!

as i've said in my first post about this show, it has been very obvious that this shows' intention isn't to be a competition, it's more of a new gen "inauguration". they could've just put the boys through bunch of workshops and let them choose partners off camera too but they chose to put money and time in to make it a whole show, so people could witness their journey and premature fan clubs would form and develop. i think its fun and clever marketing but did it work???

well, the boys def have more fans now BUT on the same day this episode was premiering, some ZNN fans were crying about their faves (who just had a movie come out, also filming a show rn AND scheduled to film another one after) being slighted by the company and they didn't need to "add more". like i said, i don't really follow Domundi closely, if the fans are right about artist management i might not know... but their Gen 2 was extremely successful after all and people are BEGGING for more series, so it's not a bad move for a company to want to grow. i wish fans would be more mature and learn more the industry the person they "stan" works in! why would a growing company would just make shows w 2 actors over and over man, cmon 😭

okay now that i got that out of me, back to the finale. some notes about the general:

the group performance of the theme song was a bit cringe to me bc i just hate that kind of music. but everyone's ending fairies were really cuteeeee so i forgive them

real winners of the episode is the background dancers because they literally did all the performances and acted too, very well!!

Domundi members and variety of industry people in the audience was sweet to see and added valuable comments/advice for the boys. i was especially happy to see Jimmy and Tommy, whom i ADORE!!!!

i was laughing at that LOUD ASS clapping and hollering track they kept playing to add some more noise to the audience's. like i know why they did it but how much that big sound didn't match w that small crowd just tickled me..

well, yeah, i cant get into idol-ing stuff personally so i was kind of bored during the solo performances. i dont really have comments that hasn't already been said by the judges. i thought all the boys did what they were supposed to do and showcased their talents, EXCEPT Latte........ my dude, what happened? i think he could've lip sync to the song, which IS a skill (Rupaul's Drag Race battles and just drag performances in general as evidence...) that would add a lot to his performance.

about couple jukebox musicals:

in my last episode commentary, i joked about Mandee getting inspired from my ideas but then they actually kinda happened lol🧐🧐🧐🧐 ThomasKong's performance was a coming of age, young love story while KengNamping's story was more complex romance w an angsty core, almost exactly like i wished for.

all in all, KengNamping's performance grabbed my attention the most. mostly because their acting & chemistry seemed improved to me (that kiss fake out at the end, what the hell??? you guys couldn't hold an eye contact couple eps ago...) AND their storyline just ATEEEE. i dont know who came up w the forbidden romance between kinda out of touch but well meaning rich boy & his "i suffer through love quietly" village boy bodyguard, w humour sprinkled in, but they need to get their ass eaten regularly...

ThomasKong don't even need to try that hard, they are just natural born charmers!!!! i liked their friends to lovers, nerdy guy cant believe popular one' love bc he doesnt see his value storyline (Thomas could've busted out One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful"). With the romantic prom climax, it reminded me of American high school movies and fit their vibes perfectly. i wish it was more humorous, because i think comedy is one of their strong suits. like how did it ended up that shy kings KengNamping got more laughs than ThomasKong, the goofballs themselves??? whoever is writing their series, please take notes, now that i know you are reading these...

after the glorious double win and the cute four-way hug, Aof said that two shows would be announced this year which clearly meant that most we are getting this year are pilot trailers. which is fine. not easy to be patient but i get that they are a smaller company w lots on their plates already. i hope they will use that time to work and work and work on the shows!!!!

i honestly want Domundi to kind of change up things in their filmmaking/producing styles, maybe switch directors sometimes and try diffferent styles idk... this show and Gen 3 in general felt very refreshing and i hope they keep that vibe going! and maybe i will finally watch a Domundi show till the last episode.

P.S.: Extra clips were released this week and KengNamping's was sweet. i was kinda laughing at how much of a set up it was like, them conveniently sharing a blanket, all mic'd up, getting filmed w lights on etc. but their conversation and mood in the moment seemed sincere, which is enough. it was nice to see the context for ep 5, when they found each other at the other end of the red ribbon and said that so much happened on that bridge. what a perfect circle moment, from comforting each other about not winning a challenge to winning the show!

First, congrats on your new job! They really do be sucking the life outta you 🤧 I honestly hadn't even put 2 and 2 together that DMD had previously announced that gen3 would star in 2 series, hence the double win. So both pairings getting their own show was a pleasant surprise to me! Although truthfully, I hadn't tuned into the DMD Lineup 2023 announcement... ya girl was pretty bummed at the time that JimmyTommy weren't starring together in MML anymore and I fell away from following DMD as closely.

But I'm always so excited to encounter fans of JimmyTommy. They're one of my favorite pairings and I'm so excited to see their comeback this year 🥹 (WRU was one of my favorite trash watches back in the day!)

Sooo I'm gonna admit that I skipped over the majority of the solo performances because the music never does it for me. Literally just went back to watch Latte after reading this post and... my boy! I love you, but what was that? But Firstone winning 2/3 awards that night? Deserved! 👏

Hoping and praying that KengNamping and ThomasKong's individual series are similar to their musical performances! Truly stolen right from your other episode recap post 😂

Biggest surprise of the night was KengNamping being the comedy kings. Had not anticipated it at all, but sooo pleasantly surprised. Makes me all the more excited to see what DMD has in store for both pairings. But I'm hoping that at least one of their shows at least BEGINS airing this year! Otherwise we'll be waiting until 2025 and the initial lineup announcement happened at the end of 2022. DMD don't do us dirty like that 🙃 give the people what they want!
